So far so good, I like how you're using original characters instead of yourselves.

Bio: Nice. Quite surreal. The lack of talking but use of onomatopoeia, muted color in those sprites, and general nonchalantness of his telekinesis really clinches it. You really made the sprites fit well into the pictures, as well.
Also, in panel 4, his toothbrush is facing away from his mouth. Want to be a pain about that.

LNU: Dude, it's a scitzo. I like how you have the different voices play off each other in conversation. It's a nice contrast to Bio's general silence.
Their (the voices in Zik's head) arguments really show how and why he's motivated. I hope we can keep that characterization up.

Okay, I'm really interested to see what happened to Zik. What stunt did he pull, and what consequences is he suffering? I don't expect anyone to answer that until another comic comes out, and I also don't know if the consequences of his stunt created the voices in head, or if they were there to begin with. By his last line, I assume they were never there before; unless, he vows to get rid of them quite often.

First of all I leik the line up of authors.

Anyway, onto the comix. The normal-ness of Bio's comic was quite refreshing. It was realistic, in the sense that he was just acting ordinary. The uniformed person in a suit killing someone is sort of used a lot, but I'm okay with it. Now, LNU's comic was a good character "Whatjamacallit-reveal-maybe?". I think the fact he listens to the red voice is realistic. I mean, if I had voices like that in my head I'd do anything to get rid of them.

Ooh! Fun stuff. The topic is up!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on my comic. I've designed and come up with back stories and such for various characters in my day, but Zik has been the most fun to write for so far. I think you'll all be surprised by what his... "deal" is, I guess.

Oh, and nice comic you have there Bio. You pulled off the photorealistic nonsense better than I did. Or will do. (Yeah, I'm not really good at it. Don't expect too much from me in the graphics department. )

You know what's funny.

Back when I started making comics, which was about 5 years ago, everybody didn't use gimp. We all used MSpaint like it was photoshop. And think what happened a little later was that people saw a couple comic makers use photoshop. But of course nobody could afford Adobe, so then gimp came into the picture.

Though I still can't remember if it was PK or NR that originated the idea of using google images. But anyway, I like what some of you guys have come up with.

DarkKnight reminds me of a very calm Zik; obviously, we can see the similarities. However, Zik is plain insane whereas DarkKnight is calm but still has a touch of insanity enough to make her interesting.
I almost think that's MoC's style: calm but insane characters.

I did notice that the shadow could be a bit better, instead of being cast on seemingly a "wall." If you made the shadow just under her feet or cast behind her on a flat, horizontal surface parallel with her feet, it might look a bit more believable.

I'll attempt to put the shadow under her feet next time, but it just looked weird when I tried it like that before.
