One question regarding "promotions" versus "transfers" ...

Nuju Metru was originally a Forum Mentor. He was transferred to the Blog Assistant team, which indicates equal stature. After being a Bloggie for a while, he was transferred again to be a Forum Assistant - again, the usage of the word "transfer" indicates equal stature amongst the Staff. FM = BA = FA, then, for easy reference.

What I don't get is that Ziko, who bypassed being a Blog Assistant, was "promoted" to be a Forum Assistant. In that case, FM ≠ FA, which contradicts the case of Nuju Metru.

Why is this?

Nuju was first transferred to the blog team, then back to the forum team in another position. It would be unfair to the blog staff to call Nuju´s return to the forum staff as a promotion. Actually, I believe that what is put on an equal level are the blog and the forum teams, not the FAs, FMs and BAs in particular. I understand your concern, though. Actually, I suggested that Turakii´s promotion to FA be labeled as a transfer to the FA group since in my understanding, FAs aren´t a higher level than FMs, but it was decided differently.

Janus and MM's should be changed to "retired." Velox's should either read "transferred to FA team" or "promoted" - as I posted here before, it's a bit confusing there.
