Staff Characters:

Name: Dume.Gender: Male.Species: Turaga.Faction: Metru Nui Protectorate.Kanohi: Noble Kiril.Element: Fire.Appearance: On the surface, Dume looks like an average turaga of fire; he wears a plain black robe over his armor, allowing only his hands, mask, and feet to show. It's designed to be able to be torn off in a single movement. Under it, Dume wears standard armor of red and black that offers near full protection. It is especially made, and is able to resist pretty much all non protosteel melee weapons. His vambraces are bulkier than normal, ending in a pair of miniature disk launchers at each hand.Powers: Dume has limited powers over fire which he uses in melee fighting, draining or increasing somethings' heat drastically.Abilities: Unlike most turaga, Dume is as physically fit as a matoran athlete, and is immensely skilled in various forms of combat. He is quite good at using his element and kanohi.Weapons: Dume has two miniature rapid fire disk launchers built into his vambraces, mentally triggered. They utilize a complex design of shrink and enlarge disks in order to fire full sized disks. He has almost a thousand miniaturized disks stored in his vambraces. By default, his left launcher fires freeze disks and his right fires weaken disks, but he can mentally program the disk design and power fired should he wish. He also wields a staff: a head shorter than Dume himself, it has a head shaped like a lightstone, while the base is shaped into a blunt point. It is a combination of a vahki staff, a flamethrower, and a simple melee weapon; the lightstone head produces blasts of flame, while the other end fires beams of the same energy used by vahki staffs; the particular power is again programmed in mentally, and both the flamethrower and vahki staff are activated mentally.Other Equipment: None.Personality: Dume is stubborn and fierce, as well as being rather solitary. Even though he is the ruler of Metru Nui, he remains on somewhat of a distant relationship with the matoran of his city. Even the toa Mangai themselves don't know him too well. What people do know about him is that he hates leading from behind; even after Thok attempted to kidnap him, and even after the bloody battle of the start of the war, the Mangai still are hard put to convince him to remain out of action.History: Little is known about Dume's past as a matoran or as a toa, except that he was a toa for several thousand years, in which time he and the team he led fought almost solely against wild rahi and (more often than not) Dark Hunters. During this time he saved the life of a matoran who would later become the head of his city's Toa Team; Lhikan. By 15,000 B.G.C. he became a turaga, and soon after that the ruler of Metru Nui. For some time his city did not have any toa to defend it, relying instead on first the kralhi and then the vahki to defend and enforce peace. However, when the kanohi dragon was awoken and set upon Metru Nui in retaliation for Dume's refusal to allow the Dark Hunters to establish a base on his island, the Toa Mangai were called in. After repulsing both Dark Hunters and dragon, they settled in Metru Nui. Almost five hundred years later the leader of the Dark Hunters began attempting more forcibly to take over the city, once even trying to kidnap Dume himself. After that, the turaga insisted on being outfitted with highly protective armor and weaponry, a task which ta matoran crafters gladly completed in record time. He retreated into the coliseum with the Mangai upon the Dark Hunter invasion, actively repulsing several Hunters despite the Mangai's attempts to restrain him. At length he was freed by the arrival of reinforcements. However, he and Lhikan promptly had to organize a defense against the Dark Hunter offensive. (Optional) Notes: Of all the toa, Dume has a closest friendship with Lhikan; first as his savior, then later his mentor, and finally his superior commander. They're practically the co leaders of the Metru Nui Protectorate, even though Dume is technically in charge. On contrast, he and Nidhiki are almost always at odds, at a few points almost coming to blows.(Optional) Notes: Controlled by Zarayna.

Name: Borak.Gender: Male.Species: Skakdi.Faction: Dark Hunters.Kanohi: None.Element: Magnetism.Appearance: A burly skakdi with armor pitch black underlaid with seemingly glowing orange, making him look like a half dead coal.Powers: Limited non elemental shadow powers, magnetism when working with another skakdi. His eyebeams drain the life energy out of a living thing, and if held for long enough, kill it. This energy can be fired from any part of his body as an energy blast, or turned into a solid shape. Lastly he has the third power of elemental distortion: any attack made with elemental energy either dissipates, is sent back, or rebounds randomly in any direction. This power must be activated, and surprise attacks can defeat it. Non energy based mental attacks can also get to him, although he has some basic training tin mind blocking, enough to somewhat thwart a not too skilled telepath.Abilities: Borak is a skilled swordsman, agile despite his build, fast, and far stronger than a toa.Weapons: Borak wields a sword held with either one or two hands. Its blade, however, is toothed, and revolves like a chainsaw, allowing it to shear through most weapons.Other Equipment: None.Personality: Rough and brutal, Borak enjoys the torments of his prey, namely those helpless merchants he forces to do business with the Dark Hunters. He has a temper, and although he can control it, he often allows to to run free, especially when torturing a prisoner.History: He grew up on Zacaz, but soon left, stowing away onboard a small pirate ship. In the dead of night, he murdered the captain of the ship and its first mate, and took the ship over, thus starting his life as a pirate. A thousand years later, his ship is far larger and deadlier, and none of his old crew is still alive. Such is his deadliness that he is leader of the Dark Hunter naval force, and second in command only to Lariska.

(Optional) Notes: Controlled by Zarayna.

Name: Lhikan.Gender: Male.Species: Toa.Faction: Metru Nui Protectorate.Kanohi: Great Hau.Element: Fire.Appearance:

Awesome.Powers: Lhikan has command over the Element of Fire, able to create and manipulate fire. His many years as a Toa give him great experience with his element. He is known to have very fine control over his powers, able to burn tiny patterns into stone, a preciseness not too many other toa have.Abilities: Lhikan is a skilled tactician and leader, an able swordsman, and a skilled athlete. He also has honed his mental abilities to access both element and Kanohi to a high degree.Weapons: Fire Greatswords; they can be snapped together to form a combination shield and hoverboard.Other Equipment: None.Personality: Lhikan is known for having great patience. His caution was remarked upon by Nidhiki, when Nidhiki reminded him of how Lhikan once thought that smoke coming from something meant the return of the Kanohi Dragon. He also assigned several of his Toa to guard Turaga Dume during the Toa/Dark Hunter war instead of attacking the Dark Hunters directly. Lhikan does not shy from danger, a trait stemming from his abandoning of the fortress he originally guarded; he also dislikes speaking of this past.Lhikan is known for his protective and amiable attitude towards the Matoran of Metru Nui. When he is not protecting the City of Legends from evil, he can be found settling disputes and listening to the problems of the Matoran.History: Lhikan was a Ta Matoran crafter until he became a toa in 7,000 B.G.C. He owes his life to Dume, and is a close friend of the turaga. A little after becoming a toa, he was stationed in a Toa Fortress that was being overrun by Frostelous. He obeyed an order from his team leader to flee, taking the Makoki stone with him. This flight, combined with the loss of the Makoki stone, scarred him, and he resolved to never let such a thing happen again. He came to Metru Nui around 4,000 B.G.C to fight off a Dark Hunter instigated rahi attack. He and the team he led then settled down there. Five hundred years later, he was forced to imprison the toa of water Tuyet, after several murders she committed. When the Dark Hunters invaded, he and the rest of his team retreated to the coliseum to protect Dume. Even after reinforcements arrived, Lhikan assigned several of the most skilled toa as Dume's personal guard, despite the turaga's protests.(Optional) Notes: Controlled by Aderia.Name: LariskaGender: FemaleSpecies: UnknownFaction: Dark HuntersKanohi: NoneElement: NoneAppearance: Lariska is lithe and athletic. Her armor, of a dark blue-green hue, is designed to allow maximum flexibility. Her left arm is mainly gunmetal silver and fully mechanical, ending in a clawed extremity. It is a replacement for her organic arm, which was maimed as punishment from the Shadowed One; years of accustomation allow Lariska to manipulate the robotic limb as well as, if not better than, her organic one. Despite her arm, she still retains her good looks, partially thanks to her naturally assured, fluid movements and partially because she knows how to sell herself.Powers: NoneAbilities: Lariska's dexterity is perhaps thrice that of a normal Toa; her speed and reflexes were honed by millennia of training. She is an expert at hand-to-hand combat. Her senses are also acute to the point where she can limitedly sense a Volitak user.Weapons: Poisoned throwing daggers on her belt; the mechanical claw that is her left hand.Other Equipment: Lariska always carries a rope and lockpick in her waist pouch.Personality: Energetic in a controlled fashion. Lariska's aura is one of energy and ability, yet it is curbed by patience born of experience. She hates being unable to do anything and is confident hard work and wits can get her anywhere. This determination rarely shows on the outside, however; as an operator for a very undercover organization, she has learned to keep a calm center, think logically, and remain fluid even in dire situations. A clear head oft offers her an advantage over many adversaries.History: Lariska's history is not known. She joined the Dark Hunters many years ago and gained rank, skill, and experience steadily; she is now one of the leaders of the Dark Hunters' invasion.(Optional) Notes: Controlled by Legolover-361Name: NidhikiGender: Male.Species: Toa.Faction: Metru Nui Protectorate.Kanohi: Great VolitakElement: AirAppearance: Nidhiki is a tall, dark green and black toa.Powers: Nidhiki has command over the Element of Air, able to create and manipulate air and wind currents to a masterful degree; he's one of the best Air elementalists in recorded history. He is also skilled in parkour and is able to move his body across large distances with almost fluid-like gymnastics.Abilities: Nidhiki is charming and skilled as a commander, often winning over battles by inspiring sheer courage and inspiration in his men by spurring them on with jokes and witty insults, often at the expense of the enemy. He's also got perfect command over his body; he is often called on to lead sniper teams, and his mix of sheer immobility, patience, and stealth has spelled doom for any number of Dark Hunters. This pragmatism and light-hearted demeanor, though, has put him at odds with other high-ranking officials, namely Turaga Dume.Weapons: Air Scythe; this weapon has a hidden switch feature that can straighten the blade of the scythe into a sharpened head simliar to that of a Rakhshi staff, and it also has a blade that can jut out of the back end of the handle as well.Other Equipment: None.Personality: Nidhiki is charming and borderline seductive, often winning over loyalty from even the most staunchly grim troops with sheer likability and spirit. He is prone to making puns and witticisms at odd times, which draws the ire of some Toa and the sheer devotion of others. His squadrons are often those that are most volunteered for, and his missions are known for being about the most fun you can get in a bloodbath such as this. Despite this, however, his friend Lhikan must often pull him back on missions, as his sheer recklessness in battle has almost led to his capture multiple times. Turaga Dume has often called him out on this, considering the Toa of Air a security risk and often trying to get Lhikan to find a new, less brash lieutenant. As of yet, the Toa of Fire has refused, but for how much longer he can keep defending Nidhiki, no one can say.History: Despite all his admirable and likable qualities, Nidhiki has remained oddly silent on his history. It is known that he spent his life as a Matoran and his early years in the Northern Continent, particularly the Tren Krom Peninsula, but other than that, he has not told even Lhikan of his early life as a hero. It is known that he had a rather flirtatious relationship with Toa Tuyet at times, and her arrest and the destruction of the Nui Stone is still a touchy subject for the Toa of Air; however, this has not yet come to affect him in any recognizable way, shape, or form...(Optional) Notes: Controlled by Tyler.

Name: Ian (technically AIN, but it was misspelt when he was programmed)Gender: N/A (but is programmed to act like a male).Species: AI..Faction: Neutral.Kanohi: N/AElement: N/AAppearance:

hni_0010_mpo.jpg

Powers: None, really.Abilities: Can 'hack' computers, doors, windows, etceteras. He can be plugged in to some computers, though.Weapons: No weapons, but he can send out an electric shock if someone touches him.Other Equipment: N/APersonality: Ian is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Although he is usually trustworthy, he is very stupid. There's not much else to his personality, really. He's a really stupid but nice AI..History: Ian was created by someone (he doesn't know who) as an attempt at artificial life. This attempt was both a success and a failure, as although his creator did make a program that could think and feel emotion, it wasn't the super-intelligent program he was expecting. He then tried to throw Ian away, but the AI kept floating back, so he disabled Ian's anti-gravity floating thing, forcing Ian to wait until someone can put up with him long enough to carry him around.(Optional) Notes: By 'hack' I mean 'physically hit repeatedly until something happens'. Also, he needs to be either attached to a wire or some kind of hover-thing or be carried in order to move around. His voice can be heard in a stop-motion animation on my blog, but if you can't be bothered looking it up, just pretend he sounds like Stephen Merchant.

Since this guy was already approved, I guess I can just post as him. Cool. cool.png

Name: EyraGender: Male.Species: Toa.Faction: Metru Nui Protectorate.Kanohi: Rahi Control.Element: Sonics.Appearance: An average sized toa, a little on the thin side. Eyra wears silver and dark grey armor, with a mask that bears great resemblance to both a great Huna and Kakama.Powers: Sonics.

Abilities: Eyra is a skilled archer, has great skills in the forest, including fire making and trapping. Lastly, he is a fairly good athlete, and can wield a flail, as well as some other weapons such as the standard mace, the spear, or the sword.Weapons: Eyra wields as primary weapon a recurve bow, full 80 pounds although sightless. He carries a short mace and chain for a secondary weapon: an eight inch long handle of lightweight metal with a comfortable rubber grip, a spike at the base. A chain of tempered steel a foot in length comes out of the top, ending in a flanged mace-head. His arrows are tipped with blunted weaken heads that work similar to a high powered weaken disk, able to render a being as large as a vortixx unable to move for several hours.

Other Equipment: Eyra carries a small backpack of a durable material. It is filled with several hundred replacement arrow heads, just in case no one in Metru Nui can produce them, an unlikely situation due to the kanoka production there.Personality: Eyra is slightly unsure of himself, especially of his status as a toa. A former hunter and practically a hermit, he finds the shift to toahood unnerving and chaotic. He is rather shy, and get embarrassed at any forms of praise. However, his nerveousness hides a quiet but fierce determination to protect the matoran.History: Eyra lived on the northern continent in a small village of matoran. More accurately, he lived in a small hut near the village. A recluse out of shyness, he watched the going ons in the village with detached interest. A hunter and gardener, he needed very little aside from what he could grow or kill, and sometimes traded with the village. However, after the toa of the village was killed by a group of wild Kane Ra, he was forced to watch the activities of the village with a little less detachment. For years the toa had combated the rahi, and Eyra had only considered him a nuisance and a competition. Now however, he noticed that the other matoran in the village were nowhere near as good at repulsing rahi as he was. So, completely silently, he began stepping into the role of the toa. An expert archer and a skilled hunter, he was an adequate replacement. The matoran never even knew who was responsible for the sudden lack of rahi, until one day he had to fight off a particularly large rahi encroachment, which forced him almost into the village itself. There was no chance of hiding after that, as the matoran and their turaga insisted on throwing a celebration for their (now thoroughly embarrassed) protector. Fortunately for him, life resumed as was normal, although now he was known to the matoran, and often forced to join them for this thing or that. Over ten years later, a toa from the outside responded to the turaga’s plea for another toa; namely by sending a toa stone with the name Eyra engraved on it. The toa was a clairvoyant and had only recently completed his destiny, becoming a turaga. Strangely, Eyra looked at it from the point of view of a hunter, and disliked the size and the fact that he had to greatly upgrade the size of his bow. However, he soon began to enjoy the added help his element gave him. And when his turaga finally got him to be able to use his mask, he found it almost perfect; mask of rahi control equaled no rahi threats after all. He insisted in only using it to keep the more dangerous rahi at bay, hunting the others. Even so, the challenge became less and less. Accustomed to the daily challenge of survival, he was at a loss against the thing known as boredom. Fortunately, he had only been enduring this for a short whole before another toa wandered into the village, a drizzled traveler named Rahkan. He settled down there at the request of the turaga, even though the village was hardly in need of more protection. He became Eyra’s mentor, coaching him in everything from hand to hand combat to elemental control. Boredom was quickly slain by the constant training. Hardly five years later, the toa received a summon, and left for Metru Nui soon after along with over a hundred other toa. He was captured by Dark Hunters in their counter offensive, but managed to escape.

Name: BoxonGender: MaleSpecies: ToaFaction: ProtectorateKanohi: Calix, a KadinElement: FireAppearance: Boxon is a maroon red, with dull gold armour that used to shine. A golden dragon adorns his chest armour, and he has golden shoulder-plate, forearm plates, and shin guards. He has green eyes, and a red and gold mask with the dragon's head adorned on it like a scar.Powers: As a toa, Boxon commands the element of fire, with the subcontrol of heat. He also uses the power of the calixAbilities: Boxon is a master of martial arts and swordplay, and would rather get into a close-quarters fight than a sniper battle. He is an extremely strong fighter, and is fast for his size. He is also a tactical genius, as long as it comes to close-quarter fighting.Weapons: A nunchuck, that can transform into two swords when the chain is detached. The blades spring out from the handles of the nunchuck. A longsword, which is carried on his back, and has a dragon's mouth as the handle-guardOther equipment: Boxon always carries a 20-foot length of rope, for whatever purposes are needed.Personality: Boxon has been known to make light jokes or puns when the occasion affords, but the war has knocked that out of him. He is mostly serious, with an inner beast that comes out whenever he fights.History: Boxon was one of six toa in a group called. "The order of the dragon" This group was one of the minor protectorates of Metru Nui, until the Dark Hunters mounted their campaign. His team was captured, tortured for information, and killed. By a mishap involving a not-so-smart skakdi, Boxon escaped to Ta-Metru. He now waits for a challenge, or something to prove his worth to the protectorate.Notes: Boxon deals with self-depreciation.

What about a Khopesh, Zarayna? This is the best I could come up with for this.-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:~~~~

Name: ExathiaGender: FemaleSpecies: Po-ToaFaction: Metru-Nui ProtectorateKanohi: Great Mask of Shielding (Kanohi Hau)Element: StoneAppearance: Exathia stands at average Toa height, possessing tan armor with a secondary coloration of mixed brown and gold. She isn’t as broad shouldered as most Po-Toa are, having muscles more like those of a distance runner than a weight-lifter. She wears a set of banded mail armor with a pauldron only on her right side.Powers: Elemental Powers of Stone and the ability of Shielding due to her mask.Abilities: Increased strength due to being a Po-Toa. Her reflexes with her huge shield are rather uncanny, as well as her ability to administer first aid with only one hand.Weapons: Carries a war pick, though it is not her tool. In her off hand she carries a tower shield that allows her to project her Mask power into a larger aura capable of defending civilians near her, though the shield takes a moment to establish. This shield also functions as her Toa tool and is crafted of protosteel. She also has a Kanoka disk launcher designed for single handed use, capable of teleporting disks from a small carrying case on her back that constantly keeps half a dozen Weaken Kanoka.Other Equipment: Exathia keeps a pack containing emergency medical supplies, two lightstones, and a heatstone. A compass, map, and communicator are readily available from it, along with an MRE.Personality: Neutral Good. A rather compassionate individual who seeks to assist any she can. She is often out on the front lines of major battles trying to provide support to her teammates, occasionally firing off an elemental blast or a few shots from her disk launcher, and is no stranger to pain or death. During her battles against the Dark Hunters, she has not been forced to resort to killing anyone as of yet.History: (Age ~ 15,000) Exathia was originally one of the few female Po-Matoran in a small Southern Continental village. There she worked as a medic, and was the last person you would expect to become a Toa. When the Toa of her village perished helping villages get away from the Rahi that had taken over the nearby quarry, his journal indicated that he had received a vision of his death, and been told to appoint her his successor. Many villagers debated whether or not this should be done, but it was eventually decided that the will of Mata-Nui must be honored, and she went through the necessary rites to become a Toa. For the next couple thousand years, she was the lone defender of her village. One day, when driving away a Muaka who was trying to eat a merchant passing through, her favored shield was shattered. The merchant, rather grateful for what she had done, provided her an old Toa tool from his stock – the shield she current uses. When the call for assistance was sent out, she was forcefully taken from her homeland, and an inexperienced Toa of Fire was left in her place. She hopes for a quick end to the war so that she can return to her home.
Name: PrecentusGender: MaleSpecies: Ba-ToaFaction: Dark HuntersKanohi: Great Mask of Hunger (Kanohi Avsa)Element: GravityAppearance: Precentus wasn’t created with a hunchback, but he prefers to stand bent over rather than straighten himself. His armor is dark purple, and covered in nasty battle scars.Powers: Elemental Powers of Gravity; the ability to drain life energy, light, or positive emotions with his mask.Abilities: Precentus can be quite charismatic when he tries to be, and is one of the best actors in the Dark Hunter organization. He can use his mask with incredible deftness, and can drain a Matoran of their life energy within seconds. He hasn’t aged very well, unlike some other Toa of his age group.Weapons: Precentus wields a massive two-handed sword. The blade is known as Riftsplitter and functions as his Toa Tool. When its true power is used, it appears to slice holes through solid objects, allowing him to step through. In truth, it merely warps reality. A number of locations, such as the Coliseum, have walls too thick for him to do this with. He also carries a protosteel dagger, a bow, and a quiver of barbed arrows to keep enemies from pulling them out without greater damage. He also rubs the arrows in Rahi waste and the ground to cause infections.Other Equipment: None, save a survival pack. He carries a number of poisons that he can apply to his weapons. Only a handful are lethal, even over time, with most being paralytic or otherwise capable of making an enemy more vulnerable.Personality: Neutral Evil. A bitter, foul individual who cares only for himself. He is highly sadistic, but also crafty and careful. He isn’t random enough to be considered Chaotic, as he prefers things to be too linear and obvious. The ironic thing is that, in the past, he was one of the most valiant and noble Toa there were, willing to kill to defend innocents, but in all other ways the perfect representation of good. How the mighty can fall.History: (Age ~ 80,000) In a billion alternate universes, there’s probably more than a few where a young Toa Precentus wrote a report The Role of the Toa, which would spark the formation of an organization allowing the restrictions of the Toa Code as long as one felt what they were doing was right. Unfortunately, that’s an alternate universe – in this one, his work was destroyed and his name besmirched. He was stripped of the title of Toa and cast out into the world. To make a long, sad story short, he became a criminal – vagrant, thief, and finally murderer. Shattering his Mask of Clairvoyance, which never seemed to give him visions, he took up a more immoral power and swore to murder all of those who had done him such wrong. In his current state, he proved an ideal candidate for Dark Hunter corruption and indoctrination into the organization. Today, he fights as one of them, using his charisma – once a tool for inspiring others – to lure other Toa into traps and stripping them of their life force whilst holding them suspended in the air.
Name: SpiderbladeGender: MaleSpecies: UniqueFaction: Dark HuntersKanohi: Powerless KakamaElement: NoneAppearance: Spiderblade stands about the same height as a Toa, but that’s because he often times keeps completely hunched over. When standing at full height, he towers a good three or four feet above even a large Toa. Underneath his mask, his face closely resembles that of a spider. He has six arms, each one spindly and insect like in appearance. His armor is covered in chitinous plates.Powers: He can excrete a highly toxic saliva and apply it to weapons. It causes only nausea at first, leading to incredible sickness within a few hours, and if left untreated for more than six to seven, can cause death.Abilities: Spiderblade is much stronger and much faster than any Toa without a mask, and can jump a good fifteen, twenty feet with a running start. He’s quite stealthy, adept at picking into locks, and has excellent sensory abilities. Finally, he is fully capable of wielding a weapon in all hands. His natural armor is quite thick.Weapons: Spiderblade carries a dozen assorted daggers and short swords, and can wield six of them simultaneously. Two of the short swords are made of protosteel; the other weapons are composed of more mundane metals. All are razor sharp, and often coated in his poison, and none are quite the same as the others.Other Equipment: NonePersonality: Chaotic Evil. The dangerous, mute lunatic known as Spiderblade is a dangerous, mute lunatic. He never speaks, he only listens and kills. He tries to leave as much destruction in his wake as he can, and feels no remorse for any of his actions.History: Displeasing the Shadowed One is a very, very bad idea. For Spiderblade, his punishment for murdering a mouthy captive that they were holding for ransom was having his vocal cords ripped out, and being used as a practice target for the other Dark Hunters. His punishment was to have lasted for months, but was cut off within the first weak by the Shadowed One sending his troops to Metru-Nui. The operative known as Spiderblade worked hard to climb back up the ladder of rank, something easier said than done without a voice. He is known to be ruthlessly effective by both sides, and has more than a couple of Toa’s deaths under his belt.
timestamp='deceased']Name: VelkarnoGender: MaleSpecies: De-ToaFaction: Metru-Nui ProtectorateKanohi: Great Mask of the Bards (see Powers)Element: Sonics.Appearance: Velkarno has a rather odd appearance, with his armor being light red as a primary and white as a secondary. He wears a roquelaure cape woven from Silver Chute Spider threads and his Kanohi mask – which appears as a Mahiki – is a bright red coloration rather than that of his armor. He wears pieces of Fader Bull leather armor on his wrists, feet, and chest.Powers: Elemental Powers of Sonics. His Mask is mostly inactive until he begins to create music, by instrument, vocals, or a mix. When playing, he can release beings from mind control, and negate other mind-altering effects. He can also inspire his allies through the use of it, affecting their minds in a positive way by inspiring them to do things they would otherwise be scared to do. Alternatively, he can implant suggestions into the mind of those listening to his play, making them desire to do something. In order to do this, they must be watching his performance – once he begins, as long as combat or other distractions are not present, it is hard to break away. It has one final power, which is that the mask keeps an encyclopedic knowledge base of all legends and stories, and the songs associated with them, and grants its wearer access to that knowledge in limited amounts.Abilities: Velkarno is a talented musician, probably one of the best in the Matoran Universe. His favored instrument is the lute. As a De-Toa, he has keen hearing, which also renders him more vulnerable to sonic based attacks and allowsWeapons: Rapier and Buckler. He has his lute, which acts as his Toa Tool but in all other respects is just a lute.Other Equipment: A basic equipment kit for survival, with a few lightstones and remove poison Kanoka contained within.Personality: Chaotic Good. Very eccentric and somewhat naïve. He’s a very carefree person, and is a fine lover of stories and telling them. He’s the type that tries to help others whenever he can, including enemy Dark Hunters if need be.History: (Age ~ 5,000 Years) Velkarno came into the world holding a lute. Literally, his oldest memory is working in a tavern as a bard, playing his songs to the Matoran of his home village on a small island off the coasts of the Northern Continent. His love of music, song, and noise made him sing out of place for a De-Matoran; a trait shared by many other potential Toa, whose inner nature conflicts with their present status and causes such bizarre traits. It all came to fruition when the bard accompanied another band of Matoran out on an adventure and found a strange stone, along with an equally strange mask, it’s color a tarnished red rather than dull and grey as it should be when not worn. Following directions in the same cave, he came to an old temple of Mata-Nui, where the stone, a Toa Stone, activated upon its placement within the suva, and changed he and two others with him into Toa.He soon found the strange, unique power that the mask had, and began to put it to use. One thousand years later, he was called upon to assist in the defense of Metru-Nui, and now serves the Protectorate in defending the City of Legends from the Dark Hunters and any other threats they call upon in the future.Velkarno was killed in action during an attempt by the Protectorate to take back the Ga-Metru ports. The so-called port strike was under the direction of Toa Mangaia Naho.

Name: TruakhiaGender: MaleSpecies: Toa of MagnetismFactions: NeutralKanohi: Great Mask of Quick Travel (Kanohi Kualsi)Element: MagnetismAppearance: His armor is majorly a dark grey, though his shoulder, chest, foot, and upper leg plates are all silver instead. He has additional plates over his normal Toa armor that is jet black. He also wears a harness over his entire body with small sheathes and packs attached for equipment, designed to offer almost no hindrance in movement.Powers: Elemental Powers of Magnetism and the power of teleportation by his mask. His elemental powers are specialized in the manipulation of metal with magnetism, and to help increase the accuracy of his projectile attacks.Abilities: Truakhia has excellent vision and hearing, and is quite adept at disarming enemies in melee or hitting them with a crossbow bolt from afar.Weapons: A Khopesh with waves on the outer blade the way a flamberge has them acts as Truakhia’s Toa Tool, but his favored weapon is a heavily modified crossbow that he can use with nearly perfect accuracy.Other Equipment: Truakhia keeps navigational equipment, a few MRE’s, and a couple remove poison Kanoka for emergencies. He has a couple dozen bolts for his crossbow. Acquired hand-held mirror.Personality: Lawful Neutral, with Good tendencies. Truakhia tries his best to simply not care, but he is naturally inclined to help others, and further inclined to keeping order in check. The Dark Hunters are enemies of the natural order, and thus must be removed. He has few of the morals most Toa have, but keeps to the Toa Code nevertheless. After all, blasting out someone’s kneecap with a crossbow bolt doesn’t count as killing. He’s a clever combatant, relying on the advantage of surprise, the environment and watching how enemies fight more than his physical abilities.History: (Age ~ 35,000 Years) Truakhia came from the Southern Continent in a small, isolated mountain village where Toa were rarely seen or encountered. He was always the quiet one, studious and incredibly focused on his work, and very disconnected from people. Being chosen by village tradition to become a Toa through the divining of the local ‘prophet’ that he was destined to follow after the local Toa was publicly murdered by a Dark Hunter assassin. His time guarding his village would be lengthy, starting from about 18,000 years ago and going on for another 5 millennia, giving him years to practice his powers. Eventually, his villages increasing size led to him being called away for relocation preceded by training, while another group of Toa replaced him. During this time, he learned advanced weapons training from an old soldier, and how to use his gathered knowledge to his advantage in combat. While he moved to numerous locations, he eventually settled back down in his old village for another couple thousand years. When the call was put out to defend Metru-Nui, he joined in the operation. He has two primary jobs – the first is as a planner and strategist back in the Coliseum, the second is going after individual targets and capturing them for interrogation and incarceration.

Name: ReaperGender: MaleSpecies: KestoraFaction: Dark HuntersKanohi: Great Mask of GrowthElement: NoneAppearance: Reaper stands at about the same height as the average Turaga, and seems to wear a noble Kanohi Miru (as the mask worn by Tanma) that, like his armor, is purple and black in coloration. His eyes shine a dark, otherworldly red light. Over his entire body he wears a dark cloak with a hood.Powers: Reaper has the power to grow to about 50 feet maximum with his mask.Abilities: Reaper is far stronger and physically adept that any Matoran or Turaga, and while normally weaker than a Toa, he is just as strong as one when he has grown to that height. He is quite a bit more agile at either size, and has lightning fast reflexes. While his mind can be attacked and controlled, it cannot be read through telepathy.Weapons: Reaper appears with a metal rod that can extend as he wills it. The weapon can emit a blade of pure energy in the shape of a scythe, and can flip it up 90 degrees to provide the shape of a war scythe. The blade can cut through most anything other than protosteel.Other Equipment: Reaper has a band fused to his arm that sends regenerative energy throughout his body, providing Quick Healing as the Kraata power at the 3rd level. It also can create 3rd level illusions, but nothing incredibly complex.Personality: True Neutral. Reaper is truly only in it for himself, but he’s not cruel about it. He never does anything just for the evil, or for a good laugh – it’s all about benefiting himself, and whatever mission he’s on. He’s been noted for never going beyond what’s necessary, something other, more sadistic Dark Hunters find odd. Exhibits Lawful tendencies, but he often times breaks rules if he disagrees with them.History: (History ~ 100,000 Years) Reaper is an individual few know anything about. Well, his ancient past, nobody knows anything else.To sum it up – Reaper was created, along with the other Kestora, at roughly the same time as the Matoran Universe. He was part of one of the many isolated groups, located in a small pocket dimension of the Matoran Universe with the others. Eventually, some 40,000 years after the Matoran Universe was created, his people figured out a way to open a dimensional rift into the primary universe. He, and a couple of others, were dispatched to seek out information, and eventually find a way back.Once in the Matoran Universe, Reaper separated from his fellows, never to meet them or any other Kestora again. Equipped with two examples of his peoples advanced technology, he was more than prepared. It helped when he one day met an elderly Toa who showed him both how to tap into Kanohi Mask powers, something he possessed the natural willpower to do. He also learned a great deal about the Matoran Universe as a whole. The old Toa, as it turns out, had been responsible for killing a team of three Dark Hunters under duress, and had been in hiding. Eventually, another group of Dark Hunters found him and killed him. When they encountered Reaper, they expected him to defend the dead Toa. Instead, he demanded they take him to their leader. Obviously, they refused and prepared to kill him.Only one survived the onslaught, and decided Reaper would make an excellent asset to the Dark Hunters. So he was brought to Odina, and put through the process for proving himself. He did just as well with that, and was accepted into the Dark Hunters.Reaper had already been explained who they were by the old Toa. While it seemed that he was just looking for something to do, his actual goal was a bit more complex. As a Hunter, he would have an opportunity to observe the universe and its species, and how to kill them, in a way banned to the others who had went with him.So today, given the codename Reaper as a Dark Hunter agent, he is now an assassin and warrior on Metru-Nui.

Levacius, approved, but I'm gonna assert my authority here and confiscate Spiderblade's Mask of Speed. We can't have the Dark Hunters painting the streets with so much Toa blood just yet ;) Also, Mask of the Bards, I like it.Zacax, approved, and do you want a Mask of Emulation for your character instead of a Mask of Copying, even though they're very similar?Toa of Smooth Jazz, I'm looking forwards to your Rahi Dark Hunter, he looks interesting.Nevermore, I'm gonna let Zarayna approve your character, I'm having qualms about the three different Kanohi.Go hogwild, guys.

Name: Solia.Gender: Female.Species: Toa.Faction: Metru Nui Protectorate.Kanohi: Great Kadin (in the shape of a Rau)Element: Water.Appearance: A beautiful, slim but short Toa, with a dark silver underlying layer of armour, with darker blue over the top. Parts of her armour glow light blue, such as her mask and lower arms and legs. Her heartlight and other highlights are lavender. She wears a brown skirt around her waist for whatever reason, and sometimes dons a cloak of the same colour and material as well.Powers: Solia has command over the Element of Water, being able to create, control and manipulate water. Her Great Kadin allows her to fly.Abilities: An able fighter, but her main areas of expertise are in her element and her agility. Being a Toa of Water grants her the passive ability to hold her breath for longer underwater.Weapons: A staff with a silver Gali hook on one end and a silver Pridak blade on the other. The pole is brown and seemingly wooden (though it is about as durable as protosteel), and parts of the the silver its on either end glow the same lavender colour as the highlights on her body (only when in her possession, if she drops it then the light goes out and it becomes dull grey). Solia also carries a bow with many arrows for longer ranged combat.Other Equipment: Quiver to store her extra arrows in, and a belt that is worn diagonally across her torso, that has a large number of pouches and pockets to store assorted items in.Personality: Whatever she lacks in physical form Solia more than makes up for in force of personality. She is tough as nails at all times, always ready with a snarky quip even in the face of death, not afraid to bend the rules every now and then, and seemingly never, ever scared.History: Solia lived a typical life of a Toa until she met a traveller, with whom she roamed around with for many, many years. Her companion eventually got separated from her under unknown circumstances, and she ended up as part of the army of 300 Toa that Lhikan brought.(Optional) Notes:

Alright, I cut it out. This spares them... for a time. Heh.Just rewatched the old Star Wars: The Clone Wars, from before the third movie was released. The good Clone Wars cartoons. As I watched Grievous, I thought "What would happen... with six arms?"It's singing time!-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

Name: HahlokGender: MaleSpecies: SkakdiFaction: Dark HuntersKanohi: NoneElement: PlasmaAppearance: Hahlok is a fairly typical Skakdi in appearance, resembling the Piraka in most aspects. His skin is red, and his armor is red and tan in color. His claws and his talons (shaped like Piruk’s Shredder Claws) are large and sharp. Hahlok has bright red, glowing eyes and a spine and face design similar to Nektann’s and Hakann’s. He also has a decal tattooed on his right pauldron symbolizing his element.Powers: His Plasma powers allow him to create, control and absorb plasma, though only when with another Skakdi. Hahlok’s other capabilities include thermal imaging vision and the individual ability of being able to project non-elemental mental energy into the minds of others to stimulate hallucinations and delusions one would experience when exhausted, dehydrated, overheated, etc. He can also use this power to generate devastating mental blasts.Abilities: Hahlok is an expert marksman and thief. He is also adept at using his illusory individual ability subtly to trick others into believing what is real and what isn’t, or what he wants them to know.Weapons: A blaster identical to Hakann’s Lava Launcher in appearance, which taps into his elemental powers to produce spheres of superheated, plasma-like acid (equivalent to stage two of the Kraata power of Plasma), or simply concentrated blasts of plasma.Other Equipment: His right arm is entirely mechanical, composed of complex machinery. The Skakdi’s armor is designed to withstand both extremely high and low temperatures, allowing him to operate in either condition without issues.Personality: Intelligent and talented, Hahlok is ruthless and greedy like many Hunters. He is skilled in thievery, to which he has dedicated himself to in order to earn profit. Unlike most Skakdi, he is more trusting of his comrades. Though he would, possibly hesitantly, leave them for his own ends – if he needed to.History: Hahlok began life as a thief on his homeland of Zakaz. His profession rose to its highest during the great wars fought between Skakdi warlords and their armies, where he dared to steal the valuables of the war leaders while they busied themselves with battle. This career of larceny ended abruptly after the slightest mistake, which cost him his right arm. He was then cast off the island, left to suffer with a single arm. Though, this was not enough to stop his hunger for prized possessions and money.Around this time he was drafted into the Dark Hunters, the leader of which finding his talents useful. All it took was a test in the Shadowed One’s training grounds to join, and Hahlok became a Dark Hunter. They provided him with a prosthetic limb, increasing his abilities for missions, or on the battlefield. Despite preferring to work alone, the Skakdi only hung around for the power the Hunters gave him, and also the fear of punishment from abandoning them.He is now serving as a soldier in the war on Metru Nui, despising every part of the job and being stationed there. His place is as a thief, rather than a warrior, though Hahlok manages to coup with the situation.Name: ReptisGender: FemaleSpecies: SkakdiFaction: Dark HuntersKanohi: NoneElement: IronAppearance: Very similar to the Piraka in appearance and build, but she is thinner with a feminine-shaped form. The coloration of her armor is burnt orange and gunmetal. Her head, spine, skin, and limbs are orange, while her torso is gunmetal. She has three-clawed toes, orange in color as well, with gunmetal on the tips of her talons, as well as her fingertips and tips of the spikes of her spine. Reptis’ spine and face design is reminiscent of Hakann’s, and her spikes are shaped like those of a Rahkshi of Heat Vision’s. Across her plating are tallies, which number the amount of creatures she has killed.Powers: Having the element of Iron grants Reptis a wide variety of metal-bending abilities, which she can only tap into when teamed up with another Skakdi. Her vision power is telescopic, allowing her to zoom in on objects, and her third power is chameleon/camouflage, which alters her body pigmentation to match her surroundings perfectly. Bright lights, however, can reveal her shadow.Abilities:She is stealthy, even without the aid of her powers. A self-trained assassin, Reptis acts with startling swiftness, striking from the shadows to kill her target or those in her wake. Due to her methods and professions, she knows of a variety of poisons.Weapons: Her primary weapon is a length of chain covered in barbs, with one of its ends bare of any spikes to protect the user. The tool can break down and reduce metals it touches to rust or rusted dust, similar to a Jutlin’s power. This function does not affect the metallic parts of living biomechanical organisms, but can shock those upon contact except the bearer. It can also double as a spiny whip or tie up others in barbed bonds.Other Equipment: She employs a half-dozen silvery, sharp-edged boomerangs (shaped like the buzz saw end of Vezok’s Water Harpoon) that slice through targets before returning back, sometimes coated with poisoned. They can be steered while in mid-flight and return to Reptis even if grounded.Personality: A truly vicious and ruthless Skakdi, even before the mutations to her species. She is sadistic, enjoying the suffering of others as she carries out her work to eliminate them. If one comes too close to her unarmed, Reptis is wont of stabbing or breaking a bone of theirs. In addition, she is greedy for money and pay.History: Even before Spiriah’s viruses caused the radical alterations, Reptis was a mercenary. She did the work for those who paid well, regardless of who or what needed to be killed or taken. When events became too disorderly for her liking on Zakaz, the Skakdi killer departed the island. Her talents eventually came to the Dark Hunters’ attention, who gladly accepted her into their organization. Reptis became known for her ways for carrying out a mission, scaring new recruits with her rumors and tales.Because of her skills, the Skakdi was one of the Shadowed One’s choices for kidnapping Dume, though knowing her methods, he went with Thok. Upset with this decision, Reptis has made it her goal to get the Turaga, whether dragging him from the Coliseum, or murdering the old man right in his personal chambers.

Name: DarkonGender: MaleSpecies: Mutated VortixxFaction: Dark HuntersKanohi: N/AElement: N/AAppearance: Darkon is a hunched, humanoid creature, standing at about 12 feet tall (This is his height in his hunched form, however. He would be much taller if he could stand straight) with dark red skin, and gunmetal highlights and patches. His head still retains a wedge-shape, with glowing green eyes, and a mouth filled with fangs and a short, dark grey tongue. His arms are long and strangely musculed, his legs digitigrades and ended with clawed, three-toed feet. His hands are bony and warped, four fingered with dual opposable thumbs. All of the fingers/thumbs are tipped with strong, lengthy, and razor-sharp claws. Powers: -When Darkon was mutated by the Visorak, his body began to attempt to heal, to repel the venom. As the mutation increased, so did the healing factor. While the heightened healing abilities are not enough to combat the venom inside him, his bones can mend in seconds, his flesh re-connect in minutes. His body repairs itself constantly, trying to repair the damage done to it, not reversing the mutation, but keeping it at bay. However, every time he heals, he grows slightly more bestial, and thus Darkon tries to stay healthy and undamaged as much as possible. -His already impressive strength and speed has been boosted by the mutation. (20% Kakama and Pakari)Abilities: Darkon has heightened senses, smelling, seeing, and hearing much better than most beings (The exceptions are Sensory Aptitude users, Lariska, and some Rahi). Darkon, while insane, thanks to the mutation, is -at least, some of the time- not a stupid, slobbering beast. He is quite intelligent, and can speak, and even write -quite the feat with his strange hands-. Combat and stealth training from the Dark HuntersWeapons: None, his claws are his offensive tools.Other Equipment: A singular journal, large and well used. A small bag, which Darkon carries over his shoulder, by it's broken strap.Personality: Insane, Unique, Intelligent, HorrifyingHistory: The being known as Darkon is one of the many infected with Hordika-venom, rejected, hated, and feared. Like most of his fellow mutants, Darkon was captured by The Dark Hunters, and forcibly turned into one of their mercenaries, thieves, or enforcers. Darkon was originally a Vortixx factory worker, who was sent to an obscure Island to deliver an assortment of weapons, only to find the area conquered by one of the first Visorak hordes. The Visorak had mostly left, with only a half-dozen of the spider-like Rahi remaining. Before he could act, he was infected by the six creatures. The few Visorak that remained there wrapped Darkon in the same toxin-barbed cocoon that Vakama & Co faced, and in a few hours, was transformed. Sadly for the half-dozen Visorak that ambushed and poisoned him, the cocoon was ripped apart by the now-bestial Darkon. In seconds, he had disturbingly killed them. The incident aroused the interest of the Hunters, who quickly sent a few agents, who successfully (Darkon did, however, managed to rip an arm of one of them. Not a big problem for him, though. He had six more) brought him back. Name: Ayana Gender: FemaleSpecies: ToaFaction: Metru Nui ProtectorateKanohi: Pakari, Mask of StrengthElement: Plant LifeAppearance: Ayana is barely six feet tall, smaller than most male and other female Toa. A (seemingly)very delicate and attractive body shape, (once again, seemingly)frail, somewhat thin, femininely shaped, and rather small. Sea-green is Ayana's main color, with Metru-blue secondary coloring. Her attractive and delicate appearance & physique is somewhat ironic, considering her brute strength. Her eyes are of the deepest blue, and very large, giving off a child-like look. Wears a simple suit of metru blue armor, consisting of breastplate, arm & leg bracers, and leather battle-skirt (Roman gladiator style). the back of her breastplate has a single C-like metal half ring, used for holding her secondary weapon. Powers: Elemental Control over Plant Life, Pakari-Given StrengthAbilities: Ayana has impressive strength and stamina, almost to the level of a Toa of a Stone, and endurance that only a Fe-Toa could top, thanks to extensive training. Very, very, very skilled in the use of her weapons. Good (As in above average) control over her Element. Weapons: -Ayana’s main weapon is her Otsuchi hammer, a gigantic mallet a full two feet taller than her. Made completely from Ebony(Or the bionicle equivalent of it).-Ayana’s secondary weapon is a six-foot tall Kanabo, made from Ebony as well, and studded with inch-long Ebony studs. Other Equipment: Ayana carries a small leather pouch, which is attached to the top of her battle-skirt, used for storing rations or whatever she needs to carry on her person at all times. Personality: Extremely Nervous, Emotional, UnsureHistory: Ayana was among the first of the Toa’s reinforcements to be butchered by the Hunters’ counterattack. She is the only remaining member of her Toa team, and was almost driven to insanity by the tragic event. Afterwards, she was kept in the infirmary for a rather long while, where her cries and screams of madness could be heard by all. Because of this, other Toa are kind to her, but in a wary way, unwilling to touch her, or speak to her more than is needed. This merely made the situation worse, and now Ayana is friendless, almost mad with depression, and plunged into a war she doesn’t even understand.

Name: KalGender: MaleSpecies: ToaFaction: ProtectorateKanohi: Huna, Kaukau.Element: PlasmaAppearance: Tall, with green and grey armour as opposed to the normal orange and white for a Toa of Plasma. His armour is like that worn by Roman Legionnaires, A.K.A. Lorica Segmentata.Powers: Strong Toa of Plasma, Kanohi Huna so he can go invisible, faster reflexes than most from his training.Abilities: Kal is very quiet and stealthy when he wishes to be so, being a well-trained Assassin-esque Toa, though he still follows the Toa Code. He's just sadistic.Weapons: One long dagger, like Strider's Knife, two smaller daggers that shoot out of the tops of his gauntlets when he clenches his fists and vibrate with an artificially generated sonic pulse, like a Republic Commando's Knuckle Plate Vibroblade. Also, a long, compound bow with protosteel arrows.Other Equipment: Power cells for his armour, a visor that helps him keep track of where he is, what his current mission is, and also helps him when targeting with his bow.Personality: Does happy-go-lucky cut it?History: Relatively unknown. He hails from a small island far in the south, and he heard of what was going on in Metru Nui, feeling it was his duty to help the Matoran.(Optional) Notes: Make sure you don't get on his bad side, he can be rather sadistic when annoyed/mad.

Name: DorianGender: MaleSpecies: ToaFaction: Protectorate Kanohi: CalixElement: IronAppearance: Tall, dark, and studly, Dorian walks at two inches above the height of a normal Toa and has the body muscle of 1.5 Nidhiki's. Despite this, his movements are fluid and graceful, and he often moves like a drop of water, trickling and sliding through spaces most people couldn't even dream of getting into. His body fat percentage is a solid six percent, and this leaves him with little to no hindrance when he needs to start running. He often uses his looks to seduce female Dark Hunters and win them over before stabbing them in the back. Powers: IronAbilities: Improvisational acting, master of stealth, enthusiast and skilled practitioner of parkour. Has lowered his heart rate and breathing capabilities to three times below the normal average, leaving him almost impossible to sense even with the right Kanohi.Weapons: None.Other Equipment: None. Personality: Dorian is, to put it frankly, an enigma. His voice is a soft drawl, almost impossible to truly detect unless you're listening for it, but in his head, he's got some killer ideas (literally and figuratively) and his tactics have led to some of the Protectorate's hardest fought victories. Allegedly, he's exhibited sociopathic and psychopathic tendencies towards Dark Hunters and sometimes even innocent teammates, but as of yet, none of that can be proven. Borderline masochist, definite narcissist. History: If anyone tells you they know anything about Dorian, they're either delusional or just a plain liar. He's never worked with the same group of people more than twice or three times, often doing a couple jobs with a team and then drifting away into the shadows for several months. This, naturally, has made him one of the Protectorate's top scouts and warriors, and has also made him one of the Dark Hunter's most prized targets. (Optional) Notes: I'm not sure about this.-Teezy

He doesn't take defeat lightly and will hunt down and attempt to kill anyone who opposes him and succeeds.History: Once a powerful warlord on the island of Zakaz, he lost everything to his traitorous soldiers. He has since joined the Dark Hunters in an attempt to regain the power he lost.Notes: Do NOT get on his bad side. He will find you. And he will kill you. This allows them to cut through almost anything.Other Equipment: A satchel he uses to carry a map of the island and a few lightstones. Personality: Incredibly calm and collected, even in the face of grave danger. History: Korvus was one of the Toa that Naho brought to Metru-Nui. -The Survivor-Name: LithusGender: FemaleSpecies: ToaFaction: Metru Nui ProtectorateKanohi: Kanohi Suletu, Mask of TelepathyElement: WaterAppearance: A young, lithe Toa, with predominantly blue overlaying armour, as well as white-grey under-armour. Her eyes and heart-light are both bright yellow. She’s slightly shorter than your average Toa. Her Kanohi is shaped to resemble a Hau.Powers: Elemental control over waterAbilities: Lithus is a strong fighter, always ready and determined to emerge victorious. Tends to fight rather brutally, owing from her time on the street.Weapons: A bow, with a dozen arrows, as well as a gladius and a long length of chain with a weighted end.Other Equipment: A lightstone, as well as a satchel she carries around (generally empty).Personality: Generally hostile to strangers, Lithus tries to hide any sort of weakness behind a wall of icy indifference and hostility. However, if you can gain her trust, she’s actually quite kind and likable.History: At an early age, Lithus (still a Matoran) was orphaned after her family was killed in a robbery gone awry. Having no one else to turn to, the Ga-Matoran became a beggar and thief on the streets of Metru Nui. During that time, she was forced to defend herself against thugs and other panhandlers, thus becoming a skilled, albeit brutal fighter.Only a little while after the Dark Hunter invasion, Lithus made the mistake of trying to pickpocket one the Hunters, causing a group of them to chase her into Ga-Metru, where the mercenaries were prepared to kill her.Fortunately, she was saved by a nearby Toa of Lightning, who managed to dispatch three of them, before being shot in the lung by the last, who promptly fled the scene. Not wanting her power to be wasted, the Toa transferred her Toa energy into Lithus, changing her into a new Toa.Scavenging a number of the fallen Toa’s weapons, Lithus ran. Throughout the coming days, she did her best to put her powers to good use, eventually joining the Metru Nui Protectorate.(Optional) Notes: Based on the comparative number of years she has lived, combined with her temperament, Lithus could be considered to be roughly in the BIONICLE equivalent of her late teens, and early 20s.

-The Blind-Name: Drex, A.K.A. “Gentleman”Gender: MaleSpecies: ToaFaction: Dark HuntersKanohi: Mask of Sensory AptitudeElement: EarthAppearance: A tall, well-built Toa, easily half a foot taller than normal. Drex generally wears black armour, with numerous accents of gold throughout the design. His heartlight is dull orange, though both of his eyes are faded grey, due to his blindness. His Kanohi was forged to resemble a Arthron.Powers: Elemental control over earthAbilities: Drex is a powerful fighter, despite his disability. Although he’s limited by his lack of sight, he manages to compensate for this with his Kanohi, as well as his elemental power to “feel” anything nearby which is connected to the dirt.Weapons: A claymore, as well as a steel stave.Other Equipment: n/aPersonality: Drex is predominantly arrogant, assured in his fighting ability, and not above occasionally insulting those who are much more powerful than him. However, the Toa still has a strict code of honour, and generally refuses to fight someone weaker than him.History: Drex began his career as a criminal at quite an early age. As a Matoran, he had already successfully hunted down many bounties, some which even the most powerful assassins in the universe couldn’t catch. One of these targets, was an aging Toa, whose refusal to cooperate the local underground criminal syndicate had resulted in a death sentence being put on his head.Drex killed the Toa with ease, but not before forcing him to create a Toa Stone. Using that, Drex turned himself into a Toa, continuing a successful career as a bounty hunter.Eventually, he joined the Dark Hunters as a way of ensuring his security, taking on the alias “Gentleman”. His aptitude for killing continued well into this stage of his life, until he was blinded, when his quarry used an experimental light-beam weapon on him. This could’ve meant the end of his career, but he refused to retire this easily. Instead, he worked to hone his other senses (even swapping his Kanohi for a Mask of Sensory Aptitude), as well as using his powers over earth to aid him in sensing the area around him.(Optional) Notes: Based on the comparative number of years he has lived, combined with his temperament, Drex could be considered to be roughly in the BIONICLE equivalent of his late 20s, and early 30s.
-Void

Name: SongGender: FemaleSpecies: Psionics ToaFaction: ProtectorateKanohi: MahikiElement: PsionicsAppearance: Song's armor is blue and gold, though it is much thinner than a average Toa's, due to her speedy nature. Her boots and elbows are pointed, for maximum damage when she strikes. Overall, her armor is stylized to evoke the essence of speed.Powers: Elemental control of Psionics, MahikiAbilities: Song prefers to surprise her opponents, and take them out before they know what hit them. In that vein, her fighting style relies on speed. She is quite adept at the usage of mental combat and her blades.Weapons: Two katana, sheathed at her waist, one wakizashi horizontally sheathed on her lower back, a dagger hidden in each boot, and a crossbow on her back.Other Equipment: Compass, map, dried rations for a day.Personality: Song tends toward sarcasm and cynicism, with little or no concern about the subject matter. She's just as likely to verbally abuse you as she is to say hello. But when the chips are down, those who have earned it will find her loyalty to be almost limitless.History: For a long time, Song was a thief using technically legal means. After all, no one can prove that you're influencing that businessman's decision. At an unknown point in time, Song decided to use her powers to better society. Little is known of her past, but she has been involved in the Metru Nui conflict almost since the beginning. And unlike most who can say that, she's still alive.(Optional) Notes:This one's a little more iffy, but worth a shot.Name: Prototype Reaper #01Gender: N/ASpecies: Prototype VahkiFaction: NeutralKanohi: N/AElement: N/AAppearance: Reaper look like someone took the basic Vahki structure, and went another direction with it. Where Vahki are vaguely insectoid, Reaper is distinctly humanoid. In place of staffs, he has actual hands. Or, close to them. His hands are more like claws, capable of functioning like hands, but not quite as refined. He is much bulkier than most Vahki, having been designed for combat. He lacks the Vahki's fourlegged configuration, as it wasn't needed for his purpose. He is gunmetal gray, with black matoran lettering on various points on his body. Printed on both shoulder pads is "Warning", and on his back, "Prototype Unit 01". His optic sensors are crimson. He looks armed to the teeth, and he is. Powers: NoneAbilities: Armor is built out of an unknown substance, as strong as metal, but can't be controlled by Fe-toa. He was built to take a beating and keep on going. His optics have built in targeting systems, allowing him to fire his weapons with a decent success ratio.Weapons: Since Reaper wasn't designed for general law enforcement, his creators did away with the typical stun staffs. In their place, they installed a variety of more lethal weapons. On his right forearm, is a cannon based on the stun staff's technology. Where the stun setting on the staff's is intentionally designed to stun only, his were designed for letha capability. It is slow to fire, but packs quite a punch. On his left forearm is a smaller device, more like the stun staffs. It is primarily meant to stun, capable of firing much quiccker than the cannon. While it has a destructive setting, it is far less powerful. His final ranged weapon is built into his left shoulder. It has an incredibly slow rate of fire, but it is built for precision accuracy at great distances. His 'fists' have metal knuckledusters built in.Other Equipment: None.Personality: Reaper doesn't have much of a personality, though still more than the average Vahki. He was programmed to always take the most logical course of action. Since he was never put into mass production, he wasn't programmed with loyalty to Metru Nui.History: Reaper was an experimental project, meant to deal with more violent crimes. While Vahki were effective, they were woefully underarmed to deal with greater threats, like certain rahi in the Archives, or the rare instance of a rogue Toa.He was built to deal with such events. However, the project was dubbed 'morally wrong' and 'excessive'. Reaper was one of only a few units ever built. He was deactivated, and stored in the Colliseum. When the Hunters made their big counterattack, Reaper was reactivated. But since he wasn't programmed to be loyal, he has yet to act on the behalf of either side.(Optional) Notes:

Name: AclaraungSpecies: Dragon. Only description.Gender: MaleFaction: Dark Hunters (Unknown to any in the Protectorate as of now)Appearance: A large, resplendent being, with golden-red scales, a long tail, and a mighty crest, three rows of blade-like horns along it, a long, spined frill of flesh which runs down his head to nearly the end of his tail, helping to stablize him in flight, long, clawed wing-arms with powerful muscles, powerful hind-legs as well.Powers: Being a Dragon, his has a few specific abilities. First, he has latent psychic abilities-he can connect with a being's mind, to speak with them, but has very little capability to attack them mentally, and the contact is strained through distance. He also has slight telekinesis-he can pick up small objects, generally nothing larger than a Kavinika wolf, with his mind, and use them as weapons/shields, though he can only pick one up at a time, and it strains his concentration as well. After that, he has fire-based abilities. He can breathe flame, of an almost liquid, napalm-like substance, which will stick and burn, even on the water, as well as being able to dispel heat/flame around him. He cannot, however, control the heat of the air, nor heat up a being, unless he's using his flame breath.Abilities: Aclaraung has excellent eyesight, on par with that of a hawk's, which he has used in the past when hunting. Now, he needs it little, though it is still a useful ability. He is also an excellent flier, despite his scale. He is capable of many acrobatic maneuvers in the air that could badly harm a normal being, due to his stronger build, as well as having his tail to help him steer in the air. He can also fly much longer than other flyers, natural endurance for him. He is, however, slower than most flyers, due to his heavy scale.Aside from that, Aclaraung has excellent hearing.Weapons: Everything natural. First, his scale is as hard as protosteel, though a well placed attack can still get through it. That, and it is rather sharp-if you run a hand along him the wrong way, trying to grab him, your hand will get cut to mincemeat. Aside from this, they are reflective, and he can slightly alter their position on his body, as to whether they are up from his body slightly, or flush against it.His flame breath is, of course, his most commonly used weapon. It is useful for burning enemy ships, when needed, and for lighting things at night/cooking his food. It is very dangerous, and burns for quite a long time.He also has his claws and his teeth, which he uses rather often as well, especially when fighting on the ground, near his friends, who he wouldn't want to burn. Finally, his tail is a weapon of its own right. Not only is it covered with sharp scales, those scales form a hard, armour-piercing tip at the end of his tail, which he can use to stab a being, as well as knocking somebody over/tripping somebody with his tail.Personality: Noble, generally tries to do good, but only to keep others looking on him favorably-otherwise, he wouldn't really care what happened. Also somewhat arrogant, though he is very loyal to his friends. Always wants to be at the forefront of the battle.Bio: Unknown. All that can be said, is that he at least considers the Kanohi Dragon to have been a cousin of his.

Name: KarorahkCodename: PlagueGender: NoneFaction: Dark HuntersSpecies: Custom. Mutant Rahkshi-Muaka-Thing.Appearance: This.History: Karorahk was created in the time that several Dark Hunter operatives were on Metru Nui to steal the Nui Stone from Tuyet. After they were defeated by Lhikan and Nidiki, they retreated into the archives to hide before returning to Odina. Here, they were attacked by a pair of wild Rahkshi (fear and rahi-control). The second rahkshi summoned a muaka to attack the Hunters. In the resulting battle, one of the Hunters fired a disintegration beam at the tiger, but it missed and hit a display of a mask of fusion. The mask’s energies were released by the blast, fusing the two Rahkshi and Muaka into one being. The resulting fusion was defeated and returned to Odina, where it was recruited to the Dark Hunters.Powers: Fear and Rahi Control.Abilities: Like its constituent beings, Karorahk is very strong and enduring. While not very fast, this Dark Hunter makes up for it in other areas.Weapons: Twin staffs of fear and rahi control. These can fire short kinetic bursts. If either of these staffs is lost, his control of the corresponding power drops dramatically.Other Equipment: Karorahk turned out more Rahkshi than Muaka, so it is made of living metal armour, with no organic parts. This armour is very thick and strong, able to resist many blows without crumbling. Nobody knows if there is anything like a kraata inside because nobody has ever opened it up.Personality: Karorahk is single-minded in its hatred of toa, or most things really, but toa especially. It has inherited the Rahkshi’s destructiveness, and this has been put to good use by the Dark Hunters. As a result of the merger, it has gained increased intelligence, putting it on par with most Matoran. It often uses this new-found brainpower along with its fear powers to manipulate other beings to conform to its wishes. Probably as a result of its Muaka heritage, Karorahk greatly dislikes Kane-Ra, and will go out of his way to kill them whenever possible. As an extension of this, there is constsnt tension between him and another Dark Hunter, Charger.(Optional) Notes: I took inspiration from Prototype and Kraata-Kal to make this guy. His characteristics and history are basically a mix of those two Dark Hunters with my own spin put on it.Name: KrokkCodename: ManglerGender: Male.Species: SkakdiFaction: Dark HuntersElement: PlantlifeVision power: Lightning visionThird Power: Krokk’s third power is similar to Vezok’s. Namely, it gives him the ability to mimic the powers of any being in close proximity (once they have used them), store them, and then use them himself later on. He could only store a power for a few hours, but is capable of absorbing more than one power at once (though not too many).Appearance: Krokk is a tall, predominantly green Skakdi with light brown parts on some parts of his limbs. His spine is interlaced with thorny vines that also run down his arms. This gives him a fierce, slightly ruffled appearance. His spine and face resemble Thok’s.Weapons: Krokk carries a Nynrah Ghostblaster (Toa Nuva model, as opposed to the type used by Makuta). He can also create weapons using his element. Most of the time, he uses a short sword for melee combat. He has used his power over plants to make the wood as strong and hard as steel.Other Equipment: In an effort to gain even greater control of his body, Krokk has replaced many of his metal parts over the millennia. They are now made of strong woods, which Krokk can bend to his will using elemental power.History: Krokk joined the Dark Hunters when the organisation was in its infancy, along with another Skakdi named Mala. The two of them worked together on missions for a long time and became greatly feared. More recently, the pair has spent more time on Odina, training other Dark Hunters in the ways of combat.Abilities: In training other Dark Hunters for field work, Krokk has refined his mastery of fighting. He is effortlessly deadly with his chosen weapons, and not too bad with others either.Personality: Krokk is a realistic and down-to-earth sort of Skakdi, who lives in the moment, rather than aspiring to grand futures or planning convoluted schemes. What he can do now, he does, and trusts the future to look after itself.Name: MalaCodename: SmiterGender: Female.Species: SkakdiFaction: Dark HuntersElement: PsionicsVision power: X-ray telescopic vision, just like Avak’s in canon.Third Power: Mala can control her own density, allowing her to become intangible and pass through obstacles or attacks, or else become very dense to increase the force of her physical attacks.Appearance: Mala has a dark blue spine, hands, feet, head and torso, with gold armour on her limbs and some of the spikes on her spine. She is slimmer than most other Skakdi, and has clawed hands and feet.Weapons: Mala uses an Electro-Chute Blade in combat, though she believes that her greatest weapon is her mind. She has scavenged a kanoka launcher from a dead vahki, and has started using that as well.History: Mala joined the Dark Hunters when the organisation was in its infancy, along with another Skakdi named Krokk. The two of them worked together on missions for a long time and became greatly feared. More recently, the pair has spent more time on Odina, training other Dark Hunters in the ways of combat.Abilities: Thanks to her element, Mala’s mind is shielded from intrusions and attacks. She is an excellent swordsSkakdi.Personality: Like other female Skakdi, Mala is more vicious and destructive than the males. She is ruthless in pursuit of her goals, and is willing to do anything or kill anyone to get them. She is a clever tactician and manipulator of her enemies.Name: TuranoGender: MaleSpecies: ToaFaction: Metru Nui ProtectorateKanohi: Great Faxon, Great CalixElement: IronAppearance: Turano wears a shining suit of grey and copper coloured armour, which he is careful to keep in excellent condition. His main mask (the faxon) is in the shape of a kadin. His torso, hands, feet and upper limbs are a dark grey, while his mask, and lower limbs are copper. He is stockier than most toa, with very broad shoulders.Abilities: As comes with his element, Turano has great endurance.Weapons: Turano can create a variety of metal weapons using his elemental powers. His standard equipment is a large protosteel sword and a rhotuka launcher.Other Equipment: Turano wears thick metal armour, which has an abrasive surface like a shark’s skin. This gives him an excellent grip on objects as well as making it a little difficult to give him a hug.Personality: Turano is friendly enough, though a little gruff at times. When the situation calls for it, however, he becomes fiercely protective of his friends and the Matoran. When something threatens them, he can fight like a bear, though he can disregard his own safety in his zeal.History: Turano was originally from the Southern Continent, but has answered the call to defend Metru Nui. He left his Matoran village under the care of their Turaga and put a portion of his toa power into a stone in case he is unable to return. With these arrangements made, he and other toa from the region boarded a boat to the besieged City of Legends to join the other toa there.Name: DekunaGender: MaleSpecies: ToaFaction: Metru Nui ProtectorateKanohi: Great Mahiki, Great KualsiElement: SonicsAppearance: Dekuna’s primary colour is a light grey, with darker shades in patches over his body, distributed almost randomly. Despite a rather stiff bearing, he moves with a certain elegance. He rarely makes any noise other than speaking, as is typical of De-matoran and their corresponding Toa and Turaga.Weapons: Dekuna carries a pair of twin blades, that can either be wielded separately or together in one hand (similar to how Kopaka Nuva’s swords could be held in two ways). He also carries an assortment of knives incase his primary toa tool is lost or damaged. When attacking from a distance, Dekuna uses a lightstone rifle he obtained on a brief visit to Xia. He keeps it buckled across his back at all times, as well as a few extra lightstones.Other Equipment: Dekuna carries a set of earplugs with him at all times. These can protect his sensitive ears from the noisy inhabitants of Metru Nui or the clamour of battle.History: Rather than tying himself to one place, Dekuna wanders the universe, protecting groups of Matoran where he thinks his aid is needed. No one has been able to work out why he does this, but it seems he has a strong aversion to staying with any one group of people for long.Personality: Beings who have known Dekuna often say that he acts more like a toa of ice than of sound. He looks at life as logically as he can, and is prone to overanalysing situations. He seldom speaks, but when he does, he cuts straight to the point without beating around the bush. His speech is directed towards action, rather than pleasing people. If he thinks he knows the best course of action, he won’t hesitate to say so, even if it annoys others.Abilities: Dekuna has experience in fighting various opponents all across the universe in all sorts of different conditions. His best skill is with his blades. His hearing is good enough to pick out a whisper from kios away (this is lessened when wearing his earplugs).

One day, he traveled to Odina and learned of the dark hunters' existence. On one of his missions, he murdered some zyglak and recieved his lightning crystal as a reward.(Optional) Notes:

Kal: Add a faction and he's approved.Lorax: Karorahk approved, Pukeno is not; I forgot to add that Krahka's species is a no no; too powerful. Krokk is only approved if he can steal only those powers that hit him, and he cannot store too many (for instance, if ten toe each fired a burst of elemental power at him, he would be overwhelmed). Also, powers can still effect him; if you fired a fireball at him, and hit, he'd have power over fire, but would be pretty burned. Basically Vesok's power, but he can be effected by attacks. Also remember, he cannot use his element on his own. Mala is approved, just remember, when she increases her density, she increases her weight. And if you have a two hundred pound fist, well, I think you can guess how useless that would be. :PTurano is approved. Dekuna is not; Sanok is a forbidden kanohi. You other two, you're approved.

Lorax: Karorahk approved,
Thankyou. :)
Pukeno is not; I forgot to add that Krahka's species is a no no; too powerful.
Fair enough. I'll redo him later as something else.

That seems reasonable. And just to clarify, when he uses other beings' powers, they copied beings can still use them too. "Absorb" may not have been the best choice of word - I was just copying from BS01.
Also remember, he cannot use his element on his own.
Okey dokey. That was refering to the wooden-body thing, right? Yeah, he can only morph that with another Skakdi around. I think it will still be useful though.

Really, really useless. Unless she was trying to retrieve something deep under water or something. Then the extra weight might help. Or standing on top of a tunnel in the archives she wanted to collapse. Super density has its uses in the right situations.
Turano is approved.
Thankyou.
Dekuna is not; Sanok is a forbidden kanohi.
Allright. That was just a last-minute addition once I saw double-kanohi were allowed. I'll change it to a kualsi

It referred to all elemental power, including making weapons.

Oh, okay.

Abilities: Valyet has proficient acrobatic skills, which enables her to dodge enemy attacks easier along with heightened jumps. However, too much stress on her body will wear her out and drain her effectively. Due to her mutation, she gained an ability to release a fume that renders the target unconcious. If too much of the fumes are inhaled, the effects may worsen, maybe even death. This power though, has limits to how much Valyet may emanate. The hilt is in a golden sword knot.Other Equipment: N/APersonality: Valyet is cold and cunning, using the resources given to her for her own advanatge. She values her independence more than anything, and would rather be dead then be a slaveHistory: Valyet was formerly apart of the MNP. She commonly disagreed on the Toa Code, wanting to eliminate her enemies permanently. Instead, they would still be alive, in a cell. One day, Valyet had enough of the restrictions placed on her, and defected. Her freedom was short- the Dark Hunters captured her and mutated her appearance slightly, giving her a menacing and vile look. She knew she could not return to the Protectorate, and left her fate with the Dark Hunters. She secretly plots to get what she wants, ignoring the interests of the Dark Hunters.(Optional) Notes: N/A
