Welcome to the preliminaries of the Hero Factory Building Contest.

Two entries from each poll will advance, as well as two wildcards.

Preliminary Voting begins April 26th and ends April 28th at 11:59 P.M. EST.
Semifinal Voting begins April 29th and ends May 1st at 11:59 P.M. EST.
Final Voting begins May 2nd and ends May 4th at 11:59 P.M. ET.
The contest winner and final voting results will be posted in a separate thread on May 5th.

I'm kinda stuck between *Hissss* and Behemoth. Both are pretty good...
But, I think I'm gonna have to go with Behemoth.

Really tough between *Hissssss* and Behemoth, but in the end, the latter one me over.

The behemoth is an amazing MOC, but I voted for the snake because it flows amazingly well and looks so realistic.

I felt the serpent had the best intersection here of HF aesthetics and technical design proficiency, and that it was more tactful in its part spam than the behemoth - viz, its use in the snake had a practical purpose. I still think it has a few design flaws, primarily in the core segment directly rearwards of the head, but it does a good job nonetheless.

While Behemoth is an excellent MOC, entry 4 has a great flow, and besides which who can resist a good serpentine MOC?

Four, and not just because I saw it at BrickFair. Behemoth looks good from the top, but the rest of it has zero flow.

Would have been tough to beat the Serpent thing.

Ended up going with Entry 4 because its completely awesome and flows with the HF aesthetic. Behemoth was close but just not HF enough.

I feel like entry five is being over looked. While it's not some beast of a MOC, like four or eight, it flows so well with the HF theme. The parts mesh well, giving it that streamlined look. So that got my vote.

Really tough between Serpent and Behemoth. But Behemoth won out.

It was a tough choise between entry 4 and entry 8. Entry 4 got my vote.

There was a number of really great MOCs for this one. In the end I voted for entry 4, but Behemoth is my second choice.

Behemoth is my first choice and received my vote; *Hissssss* would be my second favorite. Also, props to whoever made Husi 2.0! I really liked it.

Was a hard choice between *Hissssss* and Behemoth, but I went with Behemoth eventually. Pretty freakin' cool.
