IT IS FINALLY TIME.

Here's how things are going to work: To celebrate in conjunction with BZpower's 10/11 year anniversary (depends on which one you actually consider as the beginning), every day of the next week will contain a different part of Unison!

See, I like to kind of screw with your expectations. Sometimes, what you see is what you get.... other times, like now, I feel like throwing a curveball. So yeah, this will not be a single comic, this is going to be an entire compendium of this stuff, look-backs, premade hype, and of course, the actual comics!

With that said, let's rock.

Yay for this to come out. After.. what was it, months of waiting? Chahaa.

Anyway, this is a good first comic. I do so like the sprite and sunglasses props of Dark709.

Of course, I also like the use of my character too. Sort of makes me remember the Dark709 guest star comic he made some time ago.

Anyway, I like the schedule choice for this. So I am looking forward to the next part.

Whoa, that fight between Gavla and Dark was awesome.

Though I am wondering how this will play out.... Are the big comic makers like Gavla and Dark be the main characters, while the lesser ones will be supporting characters?

Woah. Woah. Just.....woah. Didn't expect that. Although, it makes sense, seeing as it kind of draws on Dark's Gavla GS Comic, by way of the whole '"Dark is best comic maker", "No Gav is best comic maker"' thing from a while back (y'know, when everyone decided that for some reason it wasn't cool to like Dark709 anymore, so everyone found someone new to worship - although not undeservedly; Gav is awesome).
BTW, I honestly expected this to be just one huge comic that you would put in the Adventure Series topic, but this was a much better way to handle it - kudos.
Can't wait for more, what with the plot progression and all (plus the cameos - I love me some cameos).

If I remember right, it's a collection of various comic makers all having.. equal screen time? As equal as can be, since like anything I'm sure limitations have been met.

It's probably Dark and Gavla for comic one, leading into comic two between someone else and such. Could be wrong, but I think that's how it goes.

I'm sure it will be lovely.

@Gavla: Wow, I'm surprised you were the first poster. That actually means a lot to me, coming from you! Anyways, it turns out the sunglasses are actually the Professor Speks from Team Fortress 2. Kind of a cheat, but looks nice. Regarding screen time, though, I was trying to balance out things as I go. See, not everybody joined at once, and I was already starting as soon as about 5 people entered this, including you and Dark. So, as a result, those that entered in late will get practically cameo-style appearances, but I have something that'll hopefully make up for it on Day 7. But yeah, you'll see the next ones in part 2.

@Terra Nuva: Thank you! ...... SO... MANY.... LAYERS......

@Dark Pit: Yeah, read my response to Gavla above, it should explain the equality thing. As for the comic's fight, yeah, I had fun making an individual fight. Besides, it's only beginning. [/subtleevilsmile]

@DJ: Yeah, I consider this miniseries as a soul successor/expansion to that comic. I actually bring this topic up again because I wanted to voice my own opinion. The resolution of this argument in my case, however, will be explained in the end. As for the individual topic, I figured nobody would really to care to see my comic's topic, as currently, I'm technically on hiatus. (friggin' upside-down text topic doesn't attract attention, methinks).

Okay, here's an update for ya'll.

See, as some of you are aware, my bandwidth is garbage, and I can't have access to the computer every day. It turns out I only made 6 comics, 3 parts of the official miniseries, and 3 parts of bonus features. With that said, I kept one day open in case something went wrong, and guess what happened! Sorry for leaving yesterday out! {RETRACTED} sucks, and trust me, I won't DARE tell who it is that's providing my internet, because of the offchance they might try to see my history and shut my connection down. But yeah, you suck, {RETRACTED}.

Anyways, here's the first "bonus feature" comic! Enjoy it!

I'm glad to see this is up. Having all the comic makers, both old and new battle to the death is quite an interesting idea.

This is incredibly silly, yet very enjoyable.

Though Gavla's laugh irked me a bit, mostly because I'm so used to the "Chaha" and such. Anyway.

I thought Chath and DJ would have a little battle of their own, but I'm sure that it will have its debut.

All these characters and their information (weapons and powers etc.) must have been quite a task to arrange the panels with consistency.

I love that so many people were able to join in. Sort of like the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, AIII Edition. The effects are quite nice, and I love that shot of me and Gavla battling it out.

This is going great so far. I'd try to join in, but it's already all started up and I don't want to get in the way of this 'battle of the greats'. I might get finicky about something anyways, so, it might be better off this way.

This is so awesome it hurts. I mean, the comic is very fast-paced, of course I did need to read it slowly to realise what was going on. Still, that doesn't detract from the SHEER EPICNESS. I mean, this is SO crash! I hope the next installment is just as bangin', if not even more-so. Otherwise, we'll all be feelin' the mode (especially Chath). Keep it up, good buddy; continue to be a kick-butt comic maker.

Okay, I have stumbled into another pitfall here. (Man, maybe I should've asked about this earlier) See, the Day 5 comic was actually a brief video of me screen capturing the making of a part of the comic, but here's the thing: I can't find anywhere to upload it. I can upload it on a video site, but apparently links to that site here are blocked, and I can understand why (profanity potential), and I can't find anywhere else to post the video to publicly view. Anyone got any help for this?

Also, a bunch of people have PMed me about being in Unison. Let me get something perfectly straight here: THIS WAS ALL PREDONE. The production of this began right after the first Comic Contest around February, and I finished it about 2 weeks ago. Because of that, I can't edit anything in to any of the comics, because I have finalized each one, and I don't want to have to update the frames or add new ones, because balancing the screen time is already enough of a challenge. However, I COULD label you as an honorable mention in the credits, and I'll be posting them up soon. Thanks for the understanding!

Oh, Gods, this has been a week.

Let me just go through what's happened. My internet was already a piece of funk-and-wagnal up until now, but recently, a freak accident occurred, and a lightning bolt literally blew out my house's power. I am not kidding.

I managed to get my computer back up and running early, but for some weird excuse, the internet modem wouldn't work. To make a long story short, it's fixed now, and I can upload comics 'gain.

I feel very sorry for delaying this because of personal setbacks. This is a big thing for me, and to have misfortune come at me at a delicate time like this makes me feel rather depressed.

But still, that doesn't mean we can't celebrate, right? Here's Part 3.

... Interesting? The concept is pretty cool, bringing a bunch of comic makers together into one comic to duke it out.
I don't recall reading any planning about this, so hearing about it being "hyped up" for a while is a little bewildering.

The resizing in the first two comics looked pretty strange, but it looks like you fixed it in the last one. Props.
The special effects look okay, could be better but it's the effort that counts.

In the end, that's what it is. The effort that counts. Good job.

Mm, yes. I like this. One of the best comic "series" here now. A shame it ends at some point soon.

I'll be honest, and it's probably because I'm so used to Chimoru, the multi kit bit is really starting to hurt my eyes.

Not used to kit mixing. Though it works here. The various comic makers showing up in their respective kits and the like.

Anyway, the explosion was pretty neat. I like how it seems to shatter the panels and such. The moon bit was pretty decent.

@The Venom: Here's the thing about that. I started this by PMing a lot of people who would participate. Only about 5% rejected the offer, but for the most part, people wanted to participate and morst people were hyped. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any planning topic to increase my boundaries, as it goes against forum guidelines, and also I didn't get any attention on the Bzpower Comic Wiki, so it's no wonder you didn't know.

I actually pre mentioned this a few times in my That Adventure Series topic, but I'm surprised not everybody wanted to see it. XD

@Gavla: I've been interested in kit mixing personally simply because I always sort of saw different kits to be the equivalent of human ethnicities. Sort of like a variety of styles to be equal to a variety of people and minds. That's just me.

@xIV. Xion: Doing so while shouting "I AM A MAN!" makes it more fun.

@Facade: Yes, you have the best power of them all! GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNSSSSSSS!

Oh wow, those were some really kind words there. Thanks! To be honest, I wish my style could be more complex, but simplicity works and so I will be simple.

Quite a lot of text, though worth it to know your feelings/thoughts on each and such. The bottom of course interests me because it has such a.. gravity on the situation of old and the future. It's actually a pity to know that Dark709 may not read that.

Or maybe, who knows. He could be a stalker anon nowadays.

Anyway, if I may say. The ending of the last action comic was rather fitting as I look back on it. You make a good point, since this.. business is rather destructive in some cases. So I think you summed it up nicely.

I actually want to see more stuff like this. This sort of grouping in which the actual characters hold no power over the outcome and such. Like a movie, and you are our director.

You know, back when we first started doing this whole comic thing, I always knew that you would end up being the better comic maker. And I was right. I mean, all this. You have created possibly the greatest thing to appear in this forum, and really, you deserve all the credit. Yet, you thank us, your fans and inspirations alike. That shows a humility that is, in itself, inspiring. Combine that with all the talent you have, and the hard work and effort you put into this....Wow. Kudos to you, man. Thank you for this. Ah, that credits part about me made me happy, I've had some bad (very bad, I mean terrible) comics and series, but the thing about not only my comics and stories, but also myself, is becoming better and improving. You summed it all up so nicely

Now, my friends, do you not think Absorba here hasn't earned something just more then gratitude, no I say. I say we all make him a special short comic or .gif to show him our appreciation, how else to celebrate a comic author then to shower him in delicous, awesome cake comics about his achievements?
I even have the perfect idea, I'll be pming you guys for some info, thanks if you oblige
