IC: Triblade, Nicole (Star Bucks, San Fran)
As Robin put Matt into a semi trance with his eyes and voice the X-Man became truly lost in their depths; as if he was swirling in an ocean of emerald, frozen in space and time. But it was over as soon as it began. Matt shook his head slowly. The last time he’d been that lost in another guy’s eyes was when he’d first met the Russian, Aleks.
He nodded slowly at Robin, “Alright,” he said at last. “If anything happens to her though I’ll personally run a nice sharp piece of wood through your heart.” He grinned, possibly kidding. He walked outside to his car and grabbed his backpack before walking back inside and slipping into the restroom.
He stepped out a few minutes later wearing a sleek black suit with white lines that connected across it. In each palm was a sparkling red orb, one was also placed in the center of his chest. If Matt was going into battle he needed his suit to keep his powers from going out of control. He didn’t want to almost melt everyone like the scene he’d caused in the lunchroom long ago.
Matt walked up to Ashley, “Hey I’m leaving,” he said looking at her. “Hopefully I won’t die or something so I can make it back.” He smiled. “Take care Ashley.” He said. He then pulled out his phone and quickly took a picture of the Starbucks before sending it to Darkfang’s phone followed by a text: Hey man its Matt, I need a ride, I’m getting in on this fight. He sent him.
He then looked around, noticing the looks he was getting from most of the average Starbucks patrons due to his suit. Matt just grinned at them all.
"Wait, where are you going?" Nicole said as she saw Matt saying goodbye and in his costume.
"I'm going to go save the world, or at least Las Vegas. You need to pay more attention." he said as he pointed to the TV.
"Oh," Nicole said. "Be careful okay?"
"I always am." well that was a lie. But Matt wanted to reassure her, not make her worry.

“Well it seems that you are as ready as you will be for this, good luck my X-Men.” Hank nodded, dismissing them so they could proceed to the Blackbird.
Jeremy’s phone suddenly vibrated. “Wait!” he said looking up. “Matt’s coming, I’ll be right back.” He said. Darkfang vanished with a flash of light and a whiff of Brimstone.
