LEGO is releasing a new board game based on the upcoming The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey film. It's a memory game, in which players use microfigures of Gandalf, Dwalin, Kili, or Fili to find 13 dwarves hidden in Hobbiton. Like all of LEGO's latest line of board games, the board and die can be built, but also comes with a rather hefty starting retail price of $34.99.

I am so ready to pony up some money to get this. Only I'll rebuild it as a riddle game

Sounds quite creative...but the price is quite steep. Understandable, though, as I can see LEGO is trying to take all they can from this great theme.

I was expecting something like this to come along. It's cool but it's way too expensive for me.

Credits go to Strack for the awesome sprite.
I'm an Emerging Fluidic Master (again). Time to start working on my Waterbending.
I'm still a ninja although I think I'm losing my skills as one.

Though this looks like a neat board game, the price is a little high for my liking. I most likely won't be getting it.
