I actually really like this set, I don't have the minifig bottle, frying pan, or hot dog, so that plus Frodo plus the plates makes it worth it. On the other hand, Gandolf and the new Horse for only twice the price is pretty convincing...

Probably won't hit NZ, but it does look like a fast and relatively cheap way of obtaining Frodo if you're not into the larger LOTR sets... Still, Yours truly has a point: why doesn't he come withe the One Ring.. :/?

Cool, cool. They tend to be notoriously elusive, appearing at either Target or TRU or who knows where. Thanks for the heads up!

Since the Frodo minifig comes in another set, I don't see a need to purchase this set unless someone absolutely had to have that minifig and the other set wasn't available.

But still, thanks for the review.

Looks like a nice little set.

off topic: Heads up to anybody looking for some more polybags! There is a particularly cool monster fighters polybag in the halloween candy section of target! It comes with a new glow in the dark minifig ghost and a small grandfather clock!
