[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: Kaithas clapped his book shut, taking the time to write his name on the cover in small print. "Any ideas for a title? I'm thinking 'The Dark and the Dead'."

IC:

"Sounds good enough," Quoribay said, finishing an ingot.

[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: Kaithas wrote it in excellent penmanship (how long this took him won't be mentioned) where the title would be.

[Bulik]

IC:

Qoribay tossed some more scrap metal into the fire and continued smithing.

[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: Kaithas opened the book, thought for a second, and then wrote on the front page: If you're reading this, I've escaped, given to you, or I'm dead. Unless, of course, you're me. I'm Kaithas, Chronicler of the remnant below the Coliseum. What you are holding is the journal of our days here, and hopefully our escape. If not, I'm writing down everything we find out, and our experiences, in the hopes that you will be luckier than we were. If Quoribay or Vertak is still around, give this to them. I hope they'll finish my work. If it's done, they'll know what to do.

"So what now?"

[Bulik]

IC:

"I dunno," Quoribay replied, casually hammering away on the second ingot.

[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: Kaithas finished his first entry. "I dunno. I got some disks and other supplies in that room near here, but we'd run into those rotters again."

[Bulik]

IC:

"Well, we did take out 3 before... so that leaves 3 left in the room. That skakdi monster will be a problem though. I'm sure if we eradicate all the rotters in the room, we can do several trips to bring supplies back the the station. Ya know... with all the wood in that room, we might be able to recapture and rebuild Station T"

[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: "Idea. Let's go by my room first. Some weapons and stuff we can use are there. Then we'll kill the rotters off, and get that room back."

[Bulik]

IC:

"Sure," Quoribay responded, finishing a second ingot.

[Constructman: Black Knight]

IC Londar
"What kind of weapons do you have?" Londar asked.

[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: "Meh. A spear or two, some swords, a shield. Though they're probably not in the best shape ever." Kaithas shrugged. "Better than nothing."

OOC: could Kaithas forge a disk into his katana?

[Constructman: Black Knight]

OOC Yes, if you have a forge

"If you'd like, I could smithy some new weapons for you guys."

[Bulik]

IC: "Meh. A spear or two, some swords, a shield. Though they're probably not in the best shape ever." Kaithas shrugged. "Better than nothing."

OOC: could Kaithas forge a disk into his katana?

OOC: I suppose so

IC:

"Sounds good enough to me," Quoribay said to Kaithas. "Any extra weapons are worth getting"

IC: "Might be enough scrap iron to mend your disk launcher, if we knew how."

IC: Vertak, Wherever:

Vertak, having been caught up in his thoughts for a long time again, heard something about scraps of metal being forged.

"I have some iron to lend, but I need it for a sword." he said. "This knife isn't doing me anything against the rotters - it's too close ranged."

[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: "Welp, let's get going if everyone's done resting." Kaithas got up, putting his book and pencil away.

[Bulik]

IC: "Might be enough scrap iron to mend your disk launcher, if we knew how."

IC:

"Nah; it's the firing mechanism that's broken, not the launcher itself," Quoribay responded. When he heard Vertak's statement, he added. "Sure, just throw it in the fire to heat 'em up and I'll forge it in a bit,". Then kaithas urged to leave, but Quoribay calmly continued. "We'll leave as soon as I get this sword done," He said, waiting for vertak to put his metal in the heart of the fire.

IC: Soli - Station U

Slowly, a lone figure crept out of the shadows of the station, towards where Vertak and the others were gathered, her eyes glancing quickly between each of them. With the briefest of glances towards the Dark Hunter, the De-Matoran raised her eyebrows slightly, as if seeing if it was okay to approach.

IC: Kaithas was standing, so he was the first to see Soli. "Hey. Come on over." He turned back to the others. "Very well."

IC: Soli - Station U

Soli nodded curtly at Kaithas, before slinking over to the group, taking a seat close beside Vertak, to the point where they were practically rubbing shoulders.

IC: Kaithas opened his notebook, obviously recording a bit of what had just happened. He cast an inquiring glance at Soli. "And what's your name? Need it for my chronicle."

[Bulik]

IC:

Quoribay took the metal from Vertak, bending it over the fire to a straighter, stronger shape and then shaping it's blade with his hammer.

IC: The UNPCM(Station U)

The UNPCM(who might be named soon) scanned the area until he spotted a stream of smoke leading up to the ceiling. Well, fire is normally a good sign. There might have somebody friendly there. And so, UNPCM began the journey towards the source of the smoke.

IC: Kaithas mumbled "We're gonna need a bigger book."

[Constructman: Black Knight]

IC Londar
"That quickly?" Londar said in response. "We're barely into the first day."

[Bulik]

IC:

Quoribay smirked and continued smithing.

[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: "Well, it'll last me a month. But who knows how long we'll be down here."

[Bulik]

IC:

Quoribay finished the crude sword. It's iron blade was fairly sharp, but his inexperience at making swords allowed many imperfections in the cutting blade. Although, these small notches and spikes would actually help in doing more damage to whatever foes Vertak had. He handed the sword to Vertak. "Here you go".

IC: [Soli] - Station U

In response to Kaithas' query, Soli gestured to an armour plate on her left arm, a piece which was kept particularly clean compared to the rest of her body. On it, was scratched the word "Soli" in clear, confident writing.

IC: Kaithas nodded and wrote something down in the book, then shot a quizzical look at how close she was to Vertak.

IC: [Soli] - Station U

Soli glanced over to see what Kaithas looking at, before whirling to face him in realization, glaring with the ferocity of a Rock Lion.

IC:: Kaithas blinked a few times and shook his head, looking back down at his notebook. He had evidently decided not to bug Soli.

[Bulik]

IC:

Quoribay chuckled at the awkward Soli/Kaithas exchange of glares. "So... Soli, do you want to come with us to Kaithas's room?"
Well that didn't sound awkward at all...

[Kaitholas Cage]

IC: Kaithas maskpalmed. "He means a storage room." He shot Quoribay a look that asked if he was trying to get Kaithas killed.

[Bulik]

IC:

Quoribay raised his hands in an apologetic defense, then made his best trollface at Kaithas. I haven't had this much fun in years... He looked around at his group of followers. "Well, are we ready to go?".

[Constructman: Black Knight]

I tried not to laugh at the scene. In response to Quoribay's question, I said "Well that depends where we're going."

[Bulik]

IC:

"Kaithas's Storage room, as previously mentioned," Quoribay replied.

IC: [Soli] - Station U

Soli looked at each of the members of the conversation cautiously, sizing them all up as potential threats. Gripping her spear in both hands, the Matoran slowly got to her feet, nodding.
