Breakout definitely. The RPG-style games were nice in that they included more story, but at the same time I felt the level designs and battle portions of them were extremely repetitive. I never truly became engaged with the earlier games in the same way I have with Breakout.

Also, the character customization in Breakout is far superior to that in the previous games IMO. In the previous games, you could import heroes from the HRT Hero Creator, but their impact on your character's appearance would often be negligible, and would have no effect on gameplay. The Breakout Hero Creator allows even more armor customization than HRT did (you can change the alignment of certain armor, for instance, whereas HRT had default alignment for each piece).
