I'm still well and truly psyched for Galaxy Squad, but some of those price tags are dreadful. I can forgive a set for not being within the golden ratio--especially with inflation and all--but the Space Swarmer is twelve dollars for well under 100 pieces, and the Star Slicer has almost the exact same piece count as the Warp Stinger, but is inexplicably ten dollars pricier. Thankfully, the sheer awesome-factor offsets this somewhat.

ALL HAIL THE KING IN YELLOW!

ALL HAIL THE LORD OF CARCOSA!

ALL HAIL THE UNSPEAKABLE ONE!

Previous names include Great Cthulhu and The Main Man.

There are a lot of new sets there. Also, some of them have some Hero Factory pieces.
I like Lego, Bionicle, and Hero Factory!:)

Inexplicably? Look at the parts that are included. The Star Slicer features a bunch of large Hero Factory and System parts, whereas the Warp Stinger doesn't use many large parts at all. It's a perfect illustration of how price-per-piece is a poor judge of a set's value, since some parts just cost more to produce.

Personally, however, I do prefer the Warp Stinger. But that's a matter of aesthetics, not value.

Okay. I am SO excited about these sets. I've been waiting for things like this for a long time now, and the sets they have look amazing. New helmets and weapons! SCORE!

A story with these sets would be awesome, and we've already got names, sooo....

:D

Bleh. I didn't even think to look at that. Ten dollars more still seems a bit extreme to me, but that's probably just my case of "College Student's Wallet syndrome" kicking in.

But what about Chima? ;-;

There was an article on the front page just a few days ago about how Chima isn't being released until the 26th. So we'll have to wait a bit longer for that, unfortunately.

Still no Chima sets on Shop@Home. However, there will be a lot of promotional material for Chima in LEGO stores in January, so that will be fun. :)

If not for the price tags, I would most likely buy the Galaxy Squad sets because honestly, I think they look realy cool. If only because of the new robotic-space marine minifigures, Galaxy Squad looks like it has a lot of cool new pieces for MOCing.

I'm just seeing these for the first time. Pretty cool if you ask me. I want the set with the purple zamor sphere.

I also hope to get one of those little insectoid aliens and stick its' head on another minifig's body. :P

Some Friends sets have been added, too.
