As you may know, BIONICLE will be celebrating 15 years after creation on December 30th, 2015. My question for you is, how will you celebrate it? What would you recommend for a guy who would like to celebrate, but doesn't know what he should do (like me)?

I have no idea what I'll do on that day. I don't usually make plan that far in advance. I'll just have to see what I'm doing when the day comes around.

I posted this in the intention of it being around for a while. I saw a 10th anniversary post that was after the anniversary, and most people didn't realize that it had already passed. Also, the poster didn't know the exact date of the anniversary, so I thought it would be a good idea to put the official date. Also, it's not that far away, being only 3 years.

I for one will celebrate my 25th birthday, because my birthday happens to be the same as Bionicle's! 
Other than that' I'll just continue to campaign to bring it back (unless Lego brings it back by then).

In reality, I have no idea. That's three years away, I'll be stressed out about graduating high school then, and college and all that. Might have a large party with all my Bionicle sets, but I really don't know.

When I saw this topic, I was confused at first, 15th anniversary is way off yet. Not even at number 12 yet. I couldn't say where I'd be in 2015, and I didn't know the exact date of the anniversary until I read this topic, I highly doubt I'll acknowledge it at all. If I'm still around on BZP maybe I will acknowledge it, but this far in advance, who knows?

Just so I may get this out of my mind, Bionicle came to Europe on December 30 2000. While Bionicle's came to the U.S and Canada on June or July in 2001.

Once Star Trek ended - pfft! - the network didn't care about it anymore, nobody cared about it anymore and it was the fans that kept it alive until finally someone turned around and said "You know what? There's a whole mess of people out there who like this. Let's do something with it again. It was a lot of years - a lot of years went by - before that happened. But if the fans shrug their shoulders and are like "Pfft! I don't care about this anymore and I'll just forget about it," then everybody else is going to forget about it, too. So the only people who - the Lego company can't do it - the only people who can keep the flame alive is the fans ... It's something only fans can do.
