I still do. But it's mostly my MOCs now, since all my Bionicle sets have been transformed into MOCs.
Though I did lose an Avak set when I went on vacation at a resort.
Plus shouldn't this be in General Discussion.

No I might lose them, or some of their parts. I have brought Bionicle books with me when we go on trips, mainly to read while were in the car.

Most of the time, but if I know (or figure) that I will get some during the trip, I may not. It also depends if I am going to meet up with friends, because if so, then we may make a bionicle story and roleplay it out.

Does Scavenger Va mean that I am downgraded?

This is about BIONICLE sets/collectibles, so I made it in this forum. Oh and a few years ago, Thok's foot just VANISHED at the hotel. I never found it.

I used to, years ago. Onua Nuva would go with me everywhere, and often I'd buy a new set while on road trips with my dad. I remember getting both Nidhiki and Gadunka while on the road.

I've never brought a Lego set with me whenever I went on vacation. In fact, I never take them anywhere once I got them. That way there wouldn't be a chance for me to lose them.

Once or twice, I think I brought Gali Nuva with me when I went to New York.

Credits go to Strack for the awesome sprite.
I'm an Emerging Fluidic Master (again). Time to start working on my Waterbending.
I'm still a ninja although I think I'm losing my skills as one.

So true, I almost lost a Bionicle set once but I forgot when that was.
The most recent event that I had taken my Bionicles on vacation, was in McAllen Texas, where I brought Gali Nuva and Tanma. This was about two to three years ago.

I don't believe I've ever taken a Bionicle on vacation, but I have brought one back - Onua Mistika was purchased before his U.S. release and assembled out of the U.S.A. before being brought there.
That kinda sounds fun though - bored in the hotel room, just yank out a Bionicle or two...
I don't wanna hijack your thread, but since this is kinda the same idea, what bionicle would you take for a vacation? This isn't the "IF you could only take one", just if you could take one for a couple days.
I'd take a Matoran. The others would take up too much space.
Steam Name: Toa Onua - always ready for TF2 or a good chat.
Xbox Live Gamertag: PluggedSky51173 - Halo 4 for (4) the win!
Minecraft Username: ThePoohster - sometimes play on T9K.
Wants: 2003 Jaller (from Jaller and Gukko set), Exo-Toa, Turaga Nuju, Turaga Vakama, Black, White, and Grey Krana, Heat Vision, Sonic, Fire Resistance, Power Scream, and Shadow Kraata, Axonn, ORANGE FIKOU.

Exactly. I'm sitting in my hotel room right now with the Tarakava and the Boxor on BZP.

I used to, but not so much any more. That is, aside from the obvious vaction to Brickfair.
Now I mostly take system stuff with me. It's a lot easier to make room and pack for.

I tend to take some of my creations to my parents house. I live on my own but I go to my parents house every month to visit them.
Though when I was living with them. We went to my aunt's cabin for vacation and I took my Lewa mata and a very bad moc of an exo toa with me, While there I tried to combine the two. Ended up leaving half the moc at the cabin. Next year we went back and I was fortunate to find the parts I left there. I was really happy since a part I left there was a blunt shooter and It was the only one I had at the time.

I took a MoC of mine on a skiing vacation. Took pics on the plane, at baggage pick-up, even up on the mountain.

Never. The risk of losing pieces or the sets themselves is too high.
All the rowboats, in the paintings
They keep trying to row away
And the captains' worried faces
Stay contorted and staring at the waves
They keep hanging in their golden frames
For forever, forever and a day
All the rowboats, in oil paintings
They keep trying to row away, row away

I remember bringing a lot of my Bionicles on vacation once. When I went to China, I did buy a fake Bohrok-Kal and Thulox (The red crab thing from 2007).

I've bought a few bionicles while on vacation. (Every time I went to the UK, I'd always get ahold of the new bionicles before they hit the shelves in canada, which was fun. x3) This was way back when I was a kid, and I tended to avoid it after. I bought a Gahlok Va in Vancouver once and lost the purple krana. ![]()

I once brought all my 6 Hordika, 6 Piraka and 6 Inika (because that was my collection at the time) to vacation in late 06 to Peru, my parents country. After that I haven't really brought any on a vacation any more but I will do so in the future, just not an entire collection, I would probably choose Karzahni, my Toa Ignika MOC, Malum, or Ackar.

No, every time I bring a bionicle on vacation, the pieces get lost.
"Matoran are vanishing! Deceit lurks in the shadows of Metru nui!"- Toa lhikan, the best character ever created by LEGO...
"Toa... So dramatic"- Nidhiki, another one if the best characters ever created by LEGO...
Remember them...
Enax must have misprints to reverse his mutation! Just a red Ruru was enough to de-mutate his head! Then it changed back...
