What set was the hardest, or took the longest, for you to build? The 08/09 vehicles were a little hard, for their complexity and size.

Yeah, I had a field day building the Rockoh T3, but I think I had a more aggravating and longer time building Mazeka's Swamp Strider - i know that took me over an hour to construct.

Hmmm. No set was ever really hard to build. Although back in 2003 when I was about 8, Pewku was quite complicated. Other than that I never had a problem with any Bionicle set.

Bionicle wise, the only set to give me any trouble was Kardas. That was mainly because of my inexperience with building at the time.

Axalara T9.  That moment when you realised you used one wrong length piece right in the middle, and have to take it apart again after building most of it. :P

Not a pleasant moment, I can tell you.

I never had problems with any set. I actually had a picture of 6 year old me holding the Sidorak that I built without any help. I looked at it and I see that it was built perfectly.

Skopio. What brilliant designer thought of the idea for 90% of it to be composed of four, gigantic, IDENTICAL legs? That was such a  pain...

i don't know if this counts but the alternate for of the jetrax the destral cycle. those darn wheels for some odd reason never seemed to line up correctly. if i had to say and actual set it would probably be a tie between umbra and kardas

Yea Skopio was hard. I got it for Christmas in 2009 and it took up a large chunk of Christmas day. The leg thing made it much more tedious.

The Axalara T9 was also hard I couldn't get that little wheel thing that turns the weapons to work right.

I've always had trouble with larger Technic sets. They're so complicated, I can't imagine being the guy that has to design them. xD

The Axalara took me about 4 hours to build (yeah I'm a slow builder). It was immensely complicated.

The axalara wasn't that hard. It only took me like 1 1/2 hours to build.

I remember the pewku and kikanalo sets being pretty hard for me back in the day.

I didn't really find the vehicles to be that challenging actually.

I don't remember if any sets gave me a lot of trouble when I put them together. I know that my Kardas set took me a couple hours to complete, but I didn't have any real trouble with it.

The Exo-Toa and Pewku were both challenging but the Thornatus V9 took the longest.

The most challenging Bionicle set I've ever built was the Cendox V1 when I was 16! It was confusing and I was busy with other stuff while I was building it at the same time!

Skopio XV-1.
Not only was the repetitive building annoying, connecting nearly a hundred of those track pieces was karzahni on my fingertips.

I never had a problem with any set, but the fact that i had built stuff like 8445 before i got any big bionicle set might have something to do with it  :) I've never been big on any other lego than technic.

Hardest? None, but I remember that I had some problems while building Lhikan & Kikanalo. However, I was quite little, so I think that doesn't count.

Longest? Hmmm, can't say, maybe Vezon & Fenrakk. Or the before-mentioned Lhikan & Kikanalo. One of these two sets.

Ser that took the longest time to build... for me, that would have to be the titan Mata Nui set. It was just so huge and with so many pieces. It took me quite a while to finish it. But I really enjoyed it. :D

Hmm...I probably think Vezon and Fenrahkk were one of the hardest, but I believe the Kardas dragon took several hours to complete, and was probably the hardest, also.

When I was a wee little lad, Lhikan + Kikanalo took forever! Or was at least really hard!

In more recent memory, Jetrax T6 SUPER CHARGED probably took me a while.

In really recent memory (less than a year) is Makuta - the only titan set amongst canisters that I snapped up - he took about 30 mins for me at a leisure pace.

Steam Name: Toa Onua - always ready for TF2 or a good chat.

None of them were hard compared to some Lego Technic sets that I own, but I think the Bionicle set that took me the longest to build was Axalara T9.

Perhaps it was difficult because I was so young, but I do recall that the 2003 Makuta set was rather hard for me to build properly, adn that Taknauva's usanai vehicle was tricky to put together in some parts as well. The titans are usually marginally more difficult than msot of the sets, and they used ot be a lot harder back in the early Bionicle days because they all had lots of gears and rubber bands and levers and functions to put together precisely; nowadays if you messed up a big set, it would look off, but back then, it meant the set wouldn't work right at all!

Pohatu Nuva 2003.

I'm being honest, I got him when I was like 6 when I first got Pohatu for my birthday, and I couldn't figure out how to attach the Feet Additions. I figured out how to attach them after... Nearly 3 years.

Yeah.

Besides him I'd say Ussanui.

For me, it was the Battle of Metru Nui playset. It took be hours to build and it went for naught when I realized I had built a basically immovable set in the living room floor, not my room. >_<

My hardest set to build was the Piraka Stronghold. I messed up the main base and I noticed this as I was completing the second tower, but I got this set at 8 years old and was mostly used to building standard Bionicle canister sets. Recently I bought myself the 2003 Titan Takutanuva and that took me about 2 hours
