Those Who Live

A Registry for Characters in Perpetual

Perpetual Role-Playing ~ Perpetual Discussion

I'll be fancying this place up soon. In the meantime, if you wish to join, fill out the following profile and post your character(s) here for approval.

Username: This will help keep characters’ owners straight.

Name: The name of your character. Keep it BIONICLE-ish.

Species: Custom species are allowed upon submission for review. Makuta and Karzahni/Artahka’s species are not allowed, at least not without talking to me about it first.

Gender: Obvious field is obvious.

Description: Separate paragraphs for appearance and personality, preferably. If you have a picture for your character, feel free to link to it as opposed to describing them.

Equipment: Your characters primary tools—weapons, doodads that help them do stuff, whatever is their equivalent of a Sonic Screwdriver. Just… equipment stuff.

Mask: Your character’s mask, if he/she has one. Anything but the Avohkii, Kraahkan, Olmak, and Legendary Masks are allowed. The Mask of Emulation and the Tryna will have limited powers because the former has been abused to no end in the past and the latter is somewhat not as useful here, given the circumstances. Custom masks are allowed with approval.

Powers: This covers your character's element and other powers. Anything is allowed, including custom elements, though Time and Life are not (the exception being if you have a power similar to Voporak's time field or Thok’s animation power.)

Vehicle: If your character has a vehicle, describe it—its appearance, its weapons, etc. If you have a picture, you can link to it. Some vehicles are also known to use above-average AI, allowing them to display Rahi-like behavior; if yours has such equipment, describe its personality as well.

Biography: Your character’s past—where he/she is from, whether or not they’ve died at all, all that jazz.

Username: Parugi.

Name: Kovian.

Species: Toa of Ice.

Gender: Male.

Description: A Toa of standard height, roughly seven feet tall, Kovian wears light-weight, silver and white armor with crystalline, light blue accents. His white Kanohi Kova, shaped similarly to a Rahkshi helmet, is equipped with a removable telescope that allows him to view the world in several different light spectrum, as well as allowing him to scan individuals to give him select information on them. He wears bladed feet additions that allow him to traverse ice lands and mountains more easily. The Dark Hunter mark is branded onto the back of his right hand, a reminder of his past membership with them. Numerous scars cover Kovian's body, and much of his armor and muscle is noticeably weaker than it used to be, due to having experienced two regenerations. Further, his left arm has been amputated at the shoulder, in an attempt to stop the spread of the resurrection illness.

Kovian is an extremely quiet individual. Having failed to stop Lyxek on Kai-Nam, Kovian feels that much of the current suffering in the universe is his fault; as such, he is very antisocial, going out of his way to avoid other people, in particular his friends and others who try to help him. Known to have been a death seeker even before the Immortal Factor came into play, due to guilt over killing at least two individuals, Kovian is very depressed over his current predicament.

Equipment: Kovian's primary tools--his double-bladed scythe and his shield--were lost several years ago, as was one of his plasma arm blades. As such, his only weapons are a pair of protosteel daggers and the plasma blade on his remaining arm.

Mask: Kanohi Kova, Mask of Chameleon. Acting in the same manner as a Level 6 Kraata of Chameleon, it changes the user's body texture and appearance to match the surrounding area, effectively camouflaging them from all but mental detection or extremely bright light.

Powers: As his species suggests, Kovian can control the element of ice, a power that he has virtually mastered by now. Further, he has secondary control over the element of Sonics, a power granted to him through events on his home island of Exa-Nui. Kovian is also proficient in hand-to-hand combat, though this is made more difficult now by his lack of a left arm.

Vehicle: Kovian pilots a large, red and white motorcycle called the Outlander. Powered by sonic energy, Kovian is able to increase its power and speed by feeding his elemental power over sound into it. The Outlander is equipped with heavy frontal armor and large blades on its front end, allowing it to serve as an effective ram, and can deploy several energy cannons from its sides. A connection cord extends from the back of the driver seat and can be connected to Kovian's personal systems, allowing him to channel his elemental powers through the cannons as well as share his mask power with the vehicle.

Biography: Kovian's life has been one of constant tragedy. Years ago, he was one of the defenders of his home island, Exa-Nui. However, he was corrupted and influenced by Makuta Jaeda, leading to events that culminated in the destruction of the island and the death of several of his former teammates. Leaving as a traveler and outcast, Kovian experienced dozens of horrors around the universe, including his personal slaying of Jaeda a year before Lyxek's plans came to fruition--his next failure. Ever since the Immortal Factor came into play, Kovian has beaten himself up over his failure to stop the Ringmaster, realizing that he and his group had been the only thing standing between Lyxek and Ruaki's resurrection. Ever since that day, Kovian has traveled, drifting from place to place, trapped in his own guilt and despair. In that time, he has been killed and resurrected thrice, with the third resurrection resulting in the loss of his left arm--the starting place of his own decay.

Name: Okena.

Species: Toa of Plant Life.

Gender: Male.

Description: Okena stands at the same height as a typical Toa, and has dark green eyes. Unlike most Toa of Plant Life, his armor is brown and dark green in appearance, designed to improve his ability to blend into the forest; in other areas, he relies on his mask to do the job for him. The armor on Okena's left arm is slightly bulkier than that of his right; the reason for this is that his left arm is mechanical, due to an accident while serving the Brotherhood of Makuta. However, the bulky armor has a secondary purpose as well, as a compartment within houses and hides his slingshot when it is not in use. He wears a leather belt around his waist; hung on this are several bags containing the ammunition for his slingshot and sniper rifle.

A near-silent individual, Okena is best summarized as being ice cold. He does not talk a lot, as he prefers the silence while he hunts, and he cares very little for those around him. While he has been known to ally himself with others on occasion, Okena would much rather be alone than in a group.

Equipment: Okena possesses a Brotherhood-grade composite slingshot, and a few bags on his belt each containing 40 metal marbles (made of a near-Protosteel-strength material) for ammunition, each of them about half an inch in diameter. Packing a remarkable amount of force behind it, the slingshot is built into the armor on his left forearm and can be hidden inside of a compartment on it, and is capable of inflicting quite a bit of damage even over long distances. He also possesses a powerful energy-sniper rifle.

Mask: Okena wears a scoped Kanohi Kova, Mask of Chameleon, allowing him to alter the colors of his body to turn almost completely invisible in any terrain. He primarily uses it during his 'sniping' sessions as a way to keep himself from being detected; likewise, his scope aids him in aiming, especially from a long distance. The mask is shaped like a Mask of Rebounding. Further, due to experiments performed on him by the Brotherhood of Makuta, Okena is an anaerobic being, and does not breathe like a normal person would. Instead, a device built into the back of his armor siphons sulfur and other electron acceptors from his environment and feeds them directly into his body, thus removing his need to physically breathe while also rendering his aim more stable. However, this forces him to rely heavily on the device for survival, as he can no longer breathe on his own; if it were to be damaged or destroyed, he would die soon after.

Powers: Okena possesses control over the element of Plant Life, and as a result also bears a vast knowledge of poisons and antidotes, as well as knowledge about numerous Rahi, thanks to his affiliation with the jungle.

Vehicle: N/A, for the moment.

Biography: An efficient, intelligent and emotionless individual, Okena was once a member of the Brotherhood of Makuta's primary army, operating as an assassin for them whenever they required the execution of their enemies. Okena was somewhat famous among his fellow officers for his effectiveness on the field; rumors stated that he could do anything from crush a small rebellion single-handed, to plant a head shot on a Fikou Spider from two hundred feet away using his rifle. After several decades under the Brotherhood's service, Okena volunteered for an experimental program that aimed to create more efficient soldiers; it resulted in the nullification of his ability to feel remorse and other emotions, as well as rendered him a better sniper by removing his need to actively breathe. Soon afterward, the Sniper defected, seeing no further reason to operate under the group. This resulted in a bounty being placed on his head. Having spent much of his life fighting those who sought to claim the bounty, the implementation of the Immortal Factor saw a drastic decrease in bounty hunters going after him, freeing Okena for what he does best: assassination jobs... not that they matter much anymore. Nowadays, Okena is simply trying to find a purpose in life.

Username: Parugi.

Name: Sanshou.

Species: Artanian.

Gender: Female.

Description: As an Artanian, Sanshou greatly resembles a Toa, being seven feet tall and fairly lean in comparison to many other species. However, her armor is completely black and is more aerodynamic than that of a Toa. She also wears a long, gray, extremely frayed scarf, which is wrapped around her neck at all times and covers her mouth, the ends of which hang down the left of her back and come to a stop just below her knees. Her eyes are a pale, glowing yellow. The bottom half of Sanshou's right leg is a mechanical replacement, caused by her second death at the hands of a Common Vortixx Feranaki, as the injury proved to be too serious to regenerate on its own.

In terms of personality, Sanshou is a quiet and reserved individual, as well as relatively polite despite when you get to know her. She doesn't talk much, making her appear slightly unintelligent, but in reality she is extremely clever and calculating. What she does say tends to be short and concise, getting straight to the point. Since her failure to stop Lyxek, she has become more subdued than ever before, hardly ever speaking.

Equipment: Formerly a knife thrower, Sanshou has abandoned her former trade--post-traumatic stress caused by the events of Kai-Nam proved to be too much for her, affecting her ability to aim as precisely as she used to. Nowadays, she simply uses a curved energy sword, called the Silence, and smoke bombs.

Mask: Sanshou wears a black Noble Ruru.

Powers: Sanshou possesses no powers. She is, however, an incredibly acrobatic being, and is skilled with the sword. In the past, she was an expert knife-thrower, though her skills virtually vanished after Lyxek's victory.

Vehicle: Sanshou pilots a Wyvern-Type Mecha called the Niaka. Formerly the property of the now-deceased KNPD Officer Sensha, the Niaka measures at 22 feet long and 16 feet tall. The Niaka possesses quite a bit of equipment: Powerful thrusters and wings for flight, flamethrowers located in its mouth, bladed wings, protosteel armor, and various machine guns, many of which no longer function. Its sheer size, surprising maneuverability, protosteel armor, Smart A.I. and Sanshou's piloting skills make it an incredibly tough opponent, despite the fact that it has begun a natural breakdown.

Biography: Sanshou was formerly a bounty hunter operating as a member of the Guild of Tyis, with her primary skills revolving around assassination; she only abandoned that life when she joined the KNPD on Kai-Nam, though even that proved to be a short-lived career. After being ousted from the KNPD, along with other Guild members, Sanshou joined in the battle against Lyxek, and was one of the group members sent to destroy the Director of the KNPD--or, as they found out, the other half of the Heart of Ruaki. Attempts to reason with the Director failed, and in the resulting battle Sanshou's close friend Sensha was killed, and others in the group injured, forcing a retreat. Sanshou fled Kai-Nam some time later, eventually taking refuge on Metru-Nui after years of traveling.

Name: Elithes.Species: Ko-Matoran.Gender: Male.Description: Here. A standard-sized Ko-Matoran, Elithes has made many additions to his body following the original Skakdi raid on his island. He is more bulky than a standard Matoran, and wears more black armor than a Ko-Matoran normally would. His improvements have also made him independent of masks, and so he now wears a stronger, silver helmet in place of his old Kanohi. He wears a white jump pack on his back, and his entire right arm has been replaced with a mechanical one outfitted with an Ice Shotgun, due to damage he received from Skakdi long ago. Elithes's mechanical components are the result of injuries he received before the Immortal Factor came into play--something that had yet to affect him, as he has managed to avoid death all of his life.

Elithes is a very quiet individual. He has a strong sense of justice, siphoned into his bounty hunting job, though his hatred of Skakdi sometimes clouds his judgment when a situation involves one. Despite his mistrust towards them, he never lets his emotions get the better of him, and has even worked with several relatively good Skakdi on several missions–albeit involuntarily. Elithes's return to Kai-Nam caused him to temporarily become a warmer individual, but the events regarding Lyxek essentially ruined any chance he had of returning to a normal or healthy state of mind.Equipment: An Ice Shotgun that replaced his right forearm long ago, which channels his natural Ice elemental energy into small bursts of energy; a jump pack, which, as the name suggests, allows him to jump extremely high in short bursts; and a plasma pistol outfitted with a bayonet. He also carries containers of a purple substance that can be fired from his gun and that can grow into a sort of purple-colored crystal that is hard to break and does not melt.Mask: Elithes no longer needs a mask to survive, due to augmentations made to his body. Instead he now wears a highly durable, silver helmet with a built in HUD.Powers: Elithes has no actual powers, aside from his versatility and the Ko-Matoran resistance to cold. He can, however, survive without a mask.Vehicle: Elithes pilots a 10-foot-tall/10-foot-long vehicle called the Wheel--named after its shape as it is, essentially, a giant, completely mechanical wheel. Within the center is a seat, and attached to that are two double-barreled machine guns that he operates with a separate control stick, which can fire five different projectiles–protosteel bullets, EMP bolts, rockets, lightning webs, and fire balls. He is protected on either side by energy shields, and the interior of his vehicle is designed so that the anterior display panel takes the appearance of whatever is in front of him. This allows him to get around without crashing into anything whichever way he turns, a feat which appears impossible to those who see him driving due to the apparent lack of a front window.Biography: Originally a scholar on Kai-Nam, Elithes was a first hand witness and victim to the Skakdi raid of City, the central village of the island. Not only did it result in the deaths of many of his friends, but the Skakdi also left him severely injured. Using money he had saved up, as well as his own skills with technology, Elithes paid for and made many augmentations to his body, replacing his arm with a mechanical one and, essentially, making him stronger overall; he then began work as a bounty hunter and managed to become a member of the Guild of Tyis, a notoriously picky bounty hunters organization operating from the Kai-Namian islets. Elithes returned to Kai-Nam after the last Night Run due to Rahkshi trouble on a nearby island, and participated in the conflict against the Ring. Failing to stop Lyxek, and having lost his partner Illuxio, Elithes took to traveling again, becoming a wanderer and a recluse.

Username: Parugi.Name: Torith.Species: Toa of Fire.Gender: Male.Description: A Toa of standard height with dark red and golden armor, accentuated with red crystals, and with blazing, orange eyes. Torith wears a dark red Kanohi Kora, designed to be more like a helmet with a very Rahkshi-head-like look to it. Torith's right arm is mechanical, due to having his original arm torn off in a conflict on his home island pre-Immortal Factor. While his armor and body bear several scars, there are no huge flaws in Torith's appearance--he still retains the air of elegance and pride that he was known for on Exa-Nui. On his home island, Torith was known for being a natural leader. He cares very deeply for others, especially those whom he leads in battle, and sees the safety of the populace and his teammates as his highest priority. Torith is very driven by his sense of duty, so much so that it's difficult to get him to sit down and relax, as he always feels that there is something that needs to be done. Years of experience have taught Torith the pain of loss and betrayal, though he has not let these experiences daunt him--only allowed them to help him grow as a person.Equipment: Torith wields a large great sword, built with an intricate, decorated hilt, as well as a smaller hook blade--the remaining part of a pair that he used to own. Further, due to an incident that occurred before the Immortal Factor kicked in, his right arm was replaced with a noticeably bulkier mechanical one, which is quite a bit stronger than his remaining natural arm. Torith also wears boot additions, allowing him to channel his elemental powers through his feet.Mask: Torith wears the Kanohi Kora, the Mask of Duplication. The Kora allows the wearer to create a limited number of copies of their self, each with a certain fraction of the user's total power, with the amount depending on the number of copies--for instance, a single duplicate would cause Torith's total power to be split in half between himself and his copy. While the duplicates can be destroyed, their power does not disappear completely; instead, a small amount of it is drained back into the mask's owner.Powers: Torith possesses the elemental power of Fire, as well as control over the element of Magnetism, the latter of which was granted to him by a mysterious cube on Exa-Nui. Constant practice has given him incredible abilities in swordsmanship.Vehicle: N/A.Biography: Formerly the leader of a team of twelve Toa on the island of Exa-Nui, Torith is not a stranger to tragedy, having witnessed the breaking of his team and the shattering of his island, due to a series of escalating events that included Kovian's disappearance from the island and the loss of Torith's arm. Leaving immediately after the end of the war that destroyed his former life, Torith sought to track down Kovian, following his trail for several years without success. By the time immortality came into play, Torith had vowed to continue on his own odyssey of sorts, combating darkness and seeking to hone his abilities in his search for the Toa of Ice. Thus far, his preparations have proven worthwhile, as he has yet to be killed at all.

Username: Magnus GreelName: KaytanaSpecies: SkakdiGender: FemaleDescription: Kaytana is a fairly typical Skakdi in appearance, resembling the Piraka in many aspects, but with feminine features and a slimmer shape. She is clad in scarred armor mottled sickly green and brown, which has lost its luster over time. Her head and spine are also sickly green in color, and her eyes are a vivid red, shining with madness and malice, one of which has a nasty, crescent-shaped scar across it. She has clawed hands and feet, as well as a horned circlet-crown on her head.Kaytana exhibits the traditional behavior of a Skakdi. She is greedy, selfish, power hungry, and bloodthirsty. It was a habit of the sadistic Skakdi to wander until conflict arose and then join in, which was her main reason for participating in the KNPD/Ring War on Kai-Nam. She likes to prolong the sufferings of others, especially in these new times, for personal entertainment. Kaytana can hold a grudge indefinitely, and has an affinity for nature and plants.Equipment: A wickedly curved blade with a razor edge, which has tiny chips from excessive use and sharpening, along with runes of an archaic language engraved across both of its flat sides. It can act as a conduit for use of her elemental energies independent of another Skakdi; when this feature is in use, the runic letters illuminate with a lime-green glow. She carries a few backup daggers taken from a spiked dagger plant. In addition to these possessions, Kaytana wears a circlet salvaged from a dead Skakdi warlord on Zakaz.Mask: NonePowers: Elemental Powers of Jungle (in conjunction with another Skakdi). Her eyebeams temporarily disable the sense of direction of those they hit, making it difficult to strike back or flee. Kaytana’s other ability was initially lost to her cybernetic modifications, though she has regained it over time; she can absorb elemental attacks directed at her and hurl them at another at a later time. She can reshape the assaults with her mind, but must be cautious to not store too much elemental energy, lest she will explode from a buildup.Vehicle: This. Kaytana has retained her sleek speeder from events on Kai-Nam, though it has gone through much wear since then, forcing her to use salvaged parts to maintain its workings. Levitation Kanoka attached to its underbelly enable it to ride the air above surfaces, and detachable blasters mounted on its front provide offense by launching force bolts. The vehicle’s speed has deteriorated over time, but Kaytana has saved the sensory systems to detect the presences of incoming or hidden objects, which appear on a gridded screen.Biography: Like many Skakdi, Kaytana has a violent history behind her name. She dedicated her much of her life to war, in both planning and battling the enemy. Her presence on the battlefield was signaled by the mass growing of venomous flora and a pile of corpses.Even without the Immorality Factor added into her life, Kaytana has always had a tendency to make a comeback after an apparent demise. The first occurred after a major skirmish between two Skakdi warlords, where she suffered near-fatal injuries to much of her body. However, she managed to survive through the “help” of others and use of cybernetics. In proceeding events, Kaytana served as a member of the Ring on Kai-Nam, where she pretended to befriend an Odinan named Hexxon and acted as a neutral figure in the war. After she revealed her true allegiance and Lyxek completed his grand plan, the Skakdi sought to finish her battered enemy off. Both combatants succeeded in their goal – Hexxon impaled by the poisoned spike-end of her club-staff, and Kaytana in pieces from explosions of shadow within her prosthetics. Due to the Immortality Factor, neither opponent died. Kaytana later returned to Zakaz to resume her old career. During this period of time, she killed and replaced her former warlord, looted his corpse of its circlet, weapon, and attained control over his army. No longer concerned with dying, the Skakdi climbed her way to fame on her homeland, gaining a much larger reputation as a merciless warrior, with a huge body count. The Skakdi had died twice in the time since immorality was introduced to the Universe, and has since decided to refrain from her hazardous lifestyle due to the results of her last regeneration. As Zakaz is literally a massive graveyard of the living, she no longer resides on the island.

Username: Magnus Greel

Name: Athaz’Baru

Species: Conjurer’s species

Gender: Male

Description: Athaz is a specimen of Conjurer’s race, and therefore resembles the Dark Hunter in many aspects of his appearance. He shares the titanic build, though maintains a great bulk that Conjurer does not. His battle-scarred and burly frame is predominately brown in color, mottled with bright gold blotches of varying sizes; some are in clusters while others are spread far apart. The spines located on the back of his head are shaped identically to those of the Rahkshi seen to the right in this image. His eyes glow a dark, menacing red, and he will don a tattered, black, hooded cloak woven from coarse, fireproof cloth in-between battles.

Athaz is rather uninterested in power, preferring war and bloodshed over it. Unlike Conjurer, water doesn’t bother him much, though the color red, especially brilliant shades of it, infuriates him, and can provide a distraction to the warrior.

Equipment: A staff exceedingly reminiscent of the one carried by Conjurer specifically designed for battle, though its size seems to be dwarfed by his own. It, like him, appears thick and heavily armored. He also carries a razor-edged broadsword for close combat, resembling a combined version Tahu Nuva’s Magma Swords melded together at the flame designs.

Mask: N/A

Powers: Athaz possesses formidable strength and endurance, along with keen senses and a mastery of various combat styles. His intrinsic powers are powerful telekinetic capabilities, though he has also developed an ability similar to a Visorak Vohtarak’s berserker charges; namely, his outer armor plating hardens once he begins a charge, to the point where it is nearly invulnerable to harm. This tends to render him in a near-unconscious state if he smashes his head into a hard surface.

Vehicle: None

Biography: Hailing from an island to the south of the Matoran Universe, Athaz became a prominent warrior among his kin. His yearning for battle is widely renowned throughout both his homeland and the areas surrounding it, as well as his fury and skill. When conflict there became rather sparse and of little interest to him, the warrior left for bigger and better action, leading to his involvement in various skirmishes, including the KNPD/Ring War on Kai-Nam. Athaz joined forces with the Ring, becoming a notorious member among his fellows.

He was present in the finale at the Day Run Arena, where he participated in Kerid’s capture, which he regarded as a glorious achievement, due to the Steltian’s history and status as a warrior, like himself. During the battle, he attempted to pin her body against a wall and snatch away her tool via telekinesis, though his eagerness distracted him from noticing her energy shields were active. Kerid managed to aim a few rounds with her pistol at his wide frame, which succeeded in burrowing through his dense armor-shell and body. Athaz was left mortally wounded, and forfeited his chance to defeat the Steltian, losing it to the Skakdi Kaytana.

However, the bestial entity survived before he could succumb to his injuries, due to the completion of Lyxek’s plan and his gift of immortality healed the wounds. With a sense of regeneration and bloodlust, Athaz’s goal in this new world is to skin the troublesome Skakdi Kaytana of her flesh and cybernetics as well as grant Kerid the Fourth Death – and, of course, leave as much bloodshed as he can.

Name: Calerix of Quel

Species: Toa of Psionics

Gender: Female

Description: Calerix is a bit smaller than the average Toa, her eye level ends up being parallel to most's chin. She is mainly colored a Mata-Blue, with golden armor. (Old gold) She wears what looks like a Great Huna, and has piercing purple eyes hidden behind said mask. Her arms and legs are scarred, and strangly enough her arms seem to be the slightest bit different each day.

Calerix is greatly mistrustful of any she comes across, never turning her back to one she isn't sure of. It would take either a large amout of small things, or possibly a life-saving event to make her trust anyone. Behind that, however, is a Toa of her word. She believes in following the Toa Code best she can, even if killing isn't as major as it was before. And she never, ever, would leave someone behind.

Equipment: Twin daggers stored at her hips, as well as a holster-full of small, powerless Kanoka that have their edges sharpened.

Mask: Kadin, Great Mask of Flight stylized to look like a Great Huna.

Powers: Elemental powers of Psionics.

Vehicle: None

Biography: Calerix, as can be deducted fro her full title, is from a small region called 'Quel', in the upper sections of the Northern Continent. She was a trader, and traveled back and forth between the villages of Quel, pausing only for a short time when the Immortality Factor came into play. However, a while after learning about it, she was attacked by a gang, who had been hired by one of her less successful rivals. Figuring that, 'Hey, she can't die and stay dead', the gang proceeded to kill her once and take her goods. Once she revived, they decided to cut off her arms, just so 'She could never carry something ever again.' (They weren't very bright.) Claerix died again, but of blood loss this time. Her main penalty for dying twice? Simple, she didn't recieve her arms.

She now wanders the Universe, attempting to find something to do with her life. Most of the time, she uses a combination of Telekinesis and illusions to make it appear as if she has arms. However, the only part of them that are truly real are the golden shoulder pads, which she keeps there out of respect, even though it puts more of a strain on her abilities. Due to this, Calerix often has less Elemental Energy availible to her than other Toa.

Username: Emissary to the Void

Name: Calik Raktu

Species: Toa

Gender: Male

Description: Average in both height and build, Calik wears thick, dark-red armour over his chest, forearms, hands, shins, feet and face, with thinner, black armour covering the rest of his body. Numerous scars riddle his body, making his hard past life clear to an observant onlooker. His face is gaunt, with sunken cheeks, bright green eyes and a generally indifferent expression.

Calik's a hard person to be around, with his gruff and indifferent exterior. Time and death have mellowed, reducing the amounts of violent outbursts he showcases, but under enough stress, avoiding him would be a good plan. However, if you happen to be friends with him, you'll find a caring and loyal warrior, who'll absolutely refuse to abandon you.

Equipment: Calik carries a protosteel claymore at his hip, as well as a heavy fireworks revolver strapped to his back (a two-handled miniature rocket-launcher with three barrels which fire in an alternating fashion). He also wears a utility belt carrying his various repair supplies, and a journal.

Mask: Kanohi Calix

Powers: Elemental control over fire and heat.

Vehicle: The Ragnorak, a modified motorcycle design, with augmented weapons and sensory equipment from its days in the Day Run. While refurbishing its blue and black paint job, Calik has installed twin firework revolvers (of the same make as his personal one), as well as retractable front blades. The vehicle has a fairly advanced AI, mainly used to keep track of the Ragnorak's systems and repair requirements. In a pinch, it can operate itself, being able to drive short distances on its own.

Biography: Originally part of a Toa team far in the south of the universe, Calik made the unfortunate mistake of falling in love with one of his comrades. Discovering that the team's leader also carried a flame for her, the Ta-Toa murdered him in a jealous rage. Upon learning of this, the woman he loved killed herself, leaving Calik destroyed. He left his home, and spent years wandering the world trying to find himself.

Eventually, he made his way to Kai-Nam, joining the Day Run, where he took part in the fight against Lyxek, leading to his first death to the Ring. After that, began wandering again, only this time, he had a purpose; Calik set out to stop Ruaki, or at least to find a way to quell the chaos in the universe.

Username: NaraName: GarghSpecies: Toa of SonicsGender: MaleDescription: Appearance: Here Due to being a Toa of Sonics, Gargh is deathly silent and has damaged hearing. Due to the nature of the element, Gargh has excellent observation skills and avoids contact with others. Because of this, he is colder than most Toa, and wouldn’t think twice about violating the Toa Code.Equipment: A Staff of Sound constructed by Gargh shortly after he became a Toa; it is capable of imitating most of the powers of Sonics. It is usually used if Gargh cannot generate enough elemental energy.Mask: Kanohi Suletu, in the shape of a Volitak.Powers: Vast control over the element of Sonics. He tends to keep a small sphere of silence around him at all times. However, doing so limits the use of Sonics greatly. He relies on his Mask and tools for most combat.Vehicle: N/aBiography: Gargh lived in a village of Sonics, on an island south of Artidax, where few beings travel. On a shipment voyage to the southern continent, the boat crashed onto a mountainous island; many of the Matoran went deaf or sustained injury to their sense of hearing. On this island, Gargh came across a Toa Stone, and transformed. Very quickly, he realized that the island was overrun by dangerous Rahi and was killed in an attack. He was reborn and began crafting his Sound Staff with materials mined from the mountain. He also patched the ship and left the island, traveling across the sea with no destination in mind, leaving his fellow Matoran at the claws of the Rahi.

Username: Kal Grochi (Or The Otter, or Eli, whatever you want to call me, really.)

Name: Mila (Pronounced: MEE-lah)

Species: Toa

Gender: Male

Description: Mila isn't much of a stand-out-in-the-crowd appearing sort of Toa. He's actually rather average-sure, he has nice eyes, a strong looking chin, good cheekbones, nice musculature...but he's really not all perfect-looking like some others are. He's not beautiful, he's only slightly handsome. His armour is of a somewhat light type, commonly favoured by Toa of his element (who could strengthen it if they wished), with a bronze and maroon colouration.

Equipment: Mila has two weapons that he built himself-one is a bronzen protosteel staff, about seven feet in length-just shorter than he is. The other two are batons-one is about a meter and a half long, and the other is about one and a half feet long. These he can transform into various weapons and tools as needed, keeping them as a ready supply for his element, instead of having to expend greater amounts of elemental energy to create everything from scratch. After that, if in a bad position, he could also use his sledgehammer that he uses for smithing large items.

Aside from his weapons, Mila has a few other possessions. His home is a fully functioning smithy, from which he and many others supply the Koro with what it needs by way of metallic goods, along with a die for punching out widgets. He also has multiple scrolls on various languages he and others have written, mainly focusing on how the Rahi speak, though there are others on the indigenous languages of Skakdi and Vortixx, for example, a few of which he makes sure to take with him everywhere. He has about 9,000 widgets saved in a safe, only taking about 500 with him at all times.

He also keep some utility clothing, such as a heavy cloak weaved with metallic thread that Mila designed so that it would remain strong and protective, as well as a scarf and a pair of gauntlets of the same material-all of which have a dark, burnished bronze colour, though they don't shine. The cloak and scarf he will normally wear if he expects to go travelling for a long time, though he'll also keep them in his satchel quite a bit of the time as well.

Finally, his large satchel, with various pockets for the various small things he feels the need to carry, with a maroon colouration, crafted out of a stronger, thicker metal thread than his utility clothing, and with a watertight seal.

Kanohi: Arthron-shaped Rau

Powers: Mila is a Toa of Iron, able to create, control, and manipulate metals with an amount of finesse, able to remove rust at a glance if he so chooses. After that, his Kanohi Rau allows him to be able to translate and understand any written or spoken language, making him rather valuable as a translator or interpreter.

As for his more normal skills, Mila was trained as a smith since he was a Matoran, and his element as a Toa only serves to aid that. As well, over the years he has become rather proficient in translating various languages even without his mask. And, finally, he is well trained with his custom built weapons-a bronzen-coloured protosteel staff and two smaller batons of the same appearance and material, which he can use his element on to transform it into various tools he may need.

Vehicle: Mila's vehicle, unlike some more common styles, is a simple hovering chair that he uses to get around on, that moves about as fast as some of the faster, engine-propelled, wheel/track relient vehicles out there when he needs it to. It has a large back to it, and an energy bubble like that from a Hau can descend over him like a shielding bubble, with various holographic controls projected onto the inside of it. It is similar to those used by Yoda in Star Wars or the Prophets (if I remember what they're called right) in Halo. Except it's larger and has a couple non-elemental plasma cannons on the front. And then the energy canopy and holographic controls.

Biography: Mila was, as a Matoran, a prominent smith in Onu-Wahi, making some of the best material that they had-some had even said that he had been trained by the fabled craftsmen who were the Nynrah Ghosts, or by Artakha himself. None of this could be ascertained for certain, of course. Well, his transition to Toa was similar to how it was with many-the Toa Mata disappear, he finds a Toa Stone, boom. He's a Toa. Not much remarkable there.

Eventually, deciding that Onu-Koro was getting a little crowded for a Toa like him, he decided to move to Ga-Wahi, where both his smithing expertise and his new interest, linguistics and translation, could be put to use, becomeing well established as a strong interpreter and translator of many the text and spoken word.

Fast forward a couple thousand years or so, and you have the modern day. Now he's more immortal than he was before, and he's taken up another hobby: Duelling. Add this to the linguistics and the smithing, and one may say you have a rather smart fellow.

The only thing I want to touch on in your profile, Otter, is that the timeline of the Day Run/Perpetual universe in relationship to the canon storyline is... well, under debate. :P The Makuta, for instance, were still physical beings as of Day Run, though obviously the tech level is higher than in canon, and there have been indications that the Great Cataclysm may not have happened yet, so Mata-Nui was never actually inhabited and etc.

Regardless, it's not a big issue, just something to keep in mind, so I'll go ahead and approve it. ^_^

Username: ConstructmanName: Thane Xi'TractaSpecies: Toa of FireGender: MaleDescription: This. Personality: Thane, like his nickname Ira suggests, is an extremely angry individual. He can explode in anger at even the most unlikely of times. And when he gets mad, he gets MAD. Known for having a large ham, his temper outbursts can be quite scary. When he's not chewing the scenery, Thane is a cold, antisocial individual. He has retained his geeky personality from his matoran days and is still fascinated with science. However, instead of researching for research's sake, he uses his studies to further his goals: vengeance, domination, and destruction. Equipment: Sword, Shield. Eta Nuva possess an arm cannon that allows Thane to partially channel his elemental abilities (the cannon shoots fireballs) and an electro-chute blade (these replace the electro rocket and the boxing claw respectively).Mask: Mask of BiomechanicsPowers: Thane possess elemental control over fire. His mask of biomechanics allows him to interface with machinery, including his Powered Armor.Vehicle: Exo-Toa v1.7 Nynrah Ghost Prototype Powered Armor Speed Class "Eta Nuva": An upgraded version of the Exo-Toa. Part of an upgraded line of Exo-Toa, this version of the powered armor was designed to be faster and more agile though at the cost of some durability. It appears radically different than the original armor, being much more fitting to size and featuring blue and white armor rather than the original gunmetal. Even the shape is different that instead of being clunky and brutish, it is sleek and slim. Thane managed to partially fix the elemental inhibition bug, so he can channel his elemental abilities through one of the suit's weapons.Biography: Thane can't really remember much of his life before the Immortal Factor kicked in; something about hitting his head on a rock or something. While he can't remember the exact details, he remembers being abused as a matoran and taking his revenge as a toa, causing destruction here and there. He was apparently an aspiring scholar in his youth, having read much o science and engineering. He eventually settled on Nynrah where he helped the Nynrah Ghosts in their creations, including an upgraded suit of Exo-Toa armor. Now, with the Immortal Factor active, he wanders the world without purpose, having left the Nynrah. Edited by Constructman

A/N: I apologize dearly for the true and great length of these profiles and expect fully a few days for approval. This covers the entire crew of the Griffon, as they are spread out across the Universe in three separate but entirely dangerous groups. More characters (of a more darker and eviler note) will start to appear as the RPG progresses.

A/N #2: The first new character has been approved via PM and is now ready to be RPed with.

Username: Toa Levacius Zehvor

Name: Levacius, the Griffon

Species: Toa of Lightning

Gender: Male

Description: Levacius stands at above-average height for a Toa with white armor. He has taken to having permanent blue markings painted onto his armor in a slightly glow-in-the-dark paint that give off a distinctive appearance both day and night. He has Kane-Ra leather bands that strap around his chest and back to provide a space for the sheathes of his two swords, which are clearly displayed; there are also small sheaths on the front that have a few varying daggers and knives on display. Levacius appears to wear a grey Kanohi Hau, which appears to have taken a small amount of battle damage and thus to a more educated warrior would seem to be powerless.

Levacius is a Chaotic Good character, with a rather spontaneous side that radiates and aura of bravura on the outside but a quick and shrewd mind on the inside. He’s a very bold individual, and rather careless about holding back his opinions or beliefs on matters; however, while he’s not beyond offending people, he’s not the type to needlessly provoke feelings of grief, and he tries to communicate sympathy when possible. He is well respected as a leader for the overall combination of all of these traits, reinforced by the fact that is something needs to get done, he’s willing to call the final order, no matter how hard – not that he won’t try to take the third option.

Equipment: Levacius’ primary weapons are his swords – a longsword and a shortsword, both crafted of protosteel and double-edged. They have a distinctive Northern Continental style to them, and the pommels for both are shaped like hawks, with medium sized topazes placed in the eye sockets. The metal has a dark sheen to it rather than the shininess of most protosteel. The weapons are both crafted to be Toa Tools, and have runic carvings engraved into the blades. The weapons increase the power of elemental lightning (and only lightning) based attacks that move through them; the runes glow blue when doing so. When crossed together, the runes on the blades glow a reddish hue, and the amplification powers of the two are stacked together. The blades also begin absorbing electrical energy when crossed this way. Levacius theorizes they have additional properties or powers, but has yet to discover them. They are named Vionu-Sitir and Vionu-Sitari, which translate roughly to ‘Lesser Storm of the Earth’ and ‘Greater Storm of the Earth’ in Old Northern Continental Matoran. They have so far proven to be immune to elemental manipulation and are seemingly indestructible. In addition to his swords, Levacius keeps a number of small daggers and throwing knives and the like on the belt across his chest, and has quick sleight of hand to easily grab one and throw it or use it to parry an enemy’s dagger thrust up close.

NOTE: The powers of Vionu-Sitir and Vionu-Sitari beyond what are listed here are beyond the usage of any player character, including Levacius. The requirements to use them are having a natural affinity to the element of lightning. The next one is an attachment to the Matoran Universe; powers beyond the ones shown above are not capable of being used outside of it or by beings not of it, as the blades are connected to the nature of elemental lightning in the Matoran Universe. They can only be changed or manipulated by a being perfectly blending lightning and metal powers in physical contact. This is all fine and dandy, but the powers are what are to be concerned with. In the event a being of such powers could find the blades, and had either a close enough connection to the elements or a significantly powerful force of will, they would be able to do things ranging from ripping apart an electrical field on a being and disintegrating them to creating a blast of electricity strong enough to incinerate an entire platoon of Skakdi to taking control of the electrical impulses in an organic or robotic mind and commanding it. The more powerful the effects of the blades, the color shifts – first it moves to orange, and then to yellow. This begins to fade into white, the ultimate power that can be wielded by the blades; a being more skilled with the blades than Levacius is at the presented may find a few uses in the space between blue and red, in the purple shade. These are all noted here for the reference of the GM, and not for gameplay use by the player.

Mask: Great Mask of Sensory Aptitude. This mask is a very strange example of a Kanohi, as it is not only much hardier and more resistant to damage (thus serving as a helmet of protosteel quality, though not being made of an identified substance), but also retains the powers stored within it. The mask does, however, appear to still be capable of bleeding out its power. The mask is identified as the Kanohi Reh (‘Mask of Potential’), though what that means or what powers it may have once held are unidentifiable.

Powers: Elemental Power of Lightning. Levacius has access to the full force of elemental lightning and is pretty darned talented at using it in combat. Due to his heavy focus in combat skills, he has slightly less potential than he could have; he does, however, have many years of experience, which means that he can use his elemental powers at a high level. Primarily, Levacius relies on lightning bolt after lightning bolt fired from his swords; on occasion, he practices with more difficult uses of the element, but it requires higher levels of concentration. The primary one is creating defensive shields of electricity to stop some attacks from coming at him. The second is for creating stasis fields, usually on only one being, but sometimes on more it Levacius isn’t distracted too much. Beyond his elemental powers, Levacius is a master of the blade and a talented master of swordsmanship. His strength isn’t far beyond average, and his physical fortitude isn’t so much strong as it is bolstered by his sheer force of will, but he possesses great agility and physical dexterity accompanied by speed and good balance, the latter bolstered even further by his mask. Finally, his mental training with his lieutenant Xaiara has granted him some level of mental shielding, which combined with his own will provides slight project from mental attacks, the ability to conceal other thoughts, and immunity to mental domination and control.

Vehicle: Levacius owns the fastest ship in the Matoran Universe – a seacraft known as the Griffon, a seafaring vessel that is, as stated just now, the very fast seafaring craft able to hold more than thirty sailors with plenty of elbow room. A few flying and land based crafts are faster, along with most racing vehicles, but that’s about it. Of course, that’s only the beginning. Levacius began to modify what appeared to be a wooden ship soon after finding about the stuff that had been happening the Day Run and the like, and began replacing everyone who wasn’t a friend or reliable warrior (see: his friends), which is to say the people to do the rowing, with a complex mechanical apparatus below. In fact, he modified the Griffon to the point that it’s really only a wooden ship on the very surface, as right under the wood is the metal and the like. That’s kind of the reason it’s so fast. Currently, there’s a few modifications going down below with more advanced technology going in – in time, Levacius hopes for the Griffon to be able to achieve flight. Mostly because it would look cool. There is a Hagah Plasma Cannon turret that can emerge from the top of the ship.

Biography: Levacius’ story is a very long and detailed one, but things can be summarized down a little bit for the sake of everything else being so long. The little information that is known about him points to originating as a scientist on Metru-Nui. He eventually came to work in the League of Six Kingdoms as a chief science officer serving the Barraki Pridak. He left just before the Leagues fall, and went into hiding on the Northern Continent. The Continent eventually was consumed by war as those defeated at the last battle near Metru-Nui looked for somewhere to make their home, and the original officers who had survived attempted to regain some sense of power. One of the small native kingdoms, known as Targon, was the one Levacius was part of. He eventually went from being a simple Matoran to a full on Toa, already with a sharp wit and strong blade arm at his side. He proved himself to be an exceptional military genius, and had almost the entire eastern half of the Continent under his control. This was not well received by the Brotherhood of Makuta. Levacius was forced to go into hiding and fake his own death, and Mount Targon, the massive mountain where his fortress was carved into, was completely obliterated (along with a few squads of Rahkshi) in the process.

In time, Levacius came to the island of Stelt, where he acted as a guard on ships and sword for hire, taking a few more adventurous jobs on occasion. In time, he came to be the captain of his own ship, along with his own crew, taking the name of ‘the Griffon’ for himself and placing it on his ship as well – the Griffon. At first, he was nothing more than a smuggler. As time progressed, his ship moved slowly from a band of pirates to a ragtag force of skilled and powerful beings from across the Universe who chose to side with him; criminal actions were still commonplace, but overall, the group was more of an adventuring band who went across the Universe to help out against terrible forces and ancient evils, saving village after village, with the payment requested at each one lowering and lowering steadily until it was almost naught – just the joy of killing terrible threats was enough.

It’s somewhat strange that Levacius never really came to acknowledge what was happening with the Night Run and later the Day Run races. Sure, occasionally he heard something about the islands and had knowledge of the Makuta barricade on an island, but he was never really focused on it – more important matters than racing, in his mind. When an ancient god of death was released into the Universe, and it seemed everyone had become an immortal abomination, his mind was changed a little on that matter.

As the Feranaki began to spread out and cause trouble, along with that of Ruaki itself, Levacius and his crew found a new enemy, and a new goal – destroying the Feranaki, and eventually finding a way to get rid of Ruaki and reverse the effect of immortality that was granted. A few members of the group dropped out, believing the erasing of immortality to be a bad thing, but Levacius and his closest compatriots have very much the opposite view on the situation, and see the lack of death as a terrible curse.

The major threat Levacius has been dealing with on the side is the resurrection of a number of the eldritch threats he has defeated in the past, which have begun causing trouble across the universe and making use of their terrible powers or abilities. For the most part, the greatest of these enemies have been imprisoned and are still just as powerless as others. This is not always the case, though.

At the time, the Griffon has a rather well sized crew who will be detailed below. The ship still has room left over, enough to serve as a quick mobile base for a small group. All of the other characters on the Griffon as detailed below are quite skilled in one way or another in comparison to the norm, though not all are on the same level as the average PC would be (and are noted in this way). Overall, though, Levacius is the best amongst the lot of them, and has tens of thousands of years of combat experience – combat experience that has kept him safe from death. Safe, that is to safe, for now. Ones luck can’t possibly last forever in times like this, even someone whose luck is accompanied by so many years of training and skills to properly reinforce it.

Username: Toa Levacius Zehvor

Name: Xaiara Ialt’Mias

Species: Ce-Toa

Gender: Female

Description: Xaiara is short for a Toa, and somewhat slight of build. Her armor is primarily golden, with some areas of blue, including highlights along the largest areas of armoring. She wears a set of black cloth clothing over her natural Toa armor, including a cloak, that covers roughly a third of her body. She appears to wear a Great Rau that is of golden and black coloration.

Xaiara is a rather impassioned being, much like Levacius, but keeps an aura of reservation and calmness. She is smart, and seconded only by Ethtinial as smartest ember of the crew. Most of the time, she keeps a colder demeanor than the Griffon. When it comes down to making a hard choice, she knows to put logic before emotions; most of the time, Levacius follows her advise, while giving the order himself.

Equipment: Xaiara keeps very little with her. The only weapon she carries is a small, curved dagger with a single-edge that can act as a Toa Tool.

Mask: Kanohi Miru, Great Mask of Levitation

Powers: Elemental Powers of Psionics. Xaiara is an incredibly adept psionics user, particularly in the subjects of telekinesis and telepathy. She is capable of attaining lift with her powers, which in conjunction with her mask allows her to attain flight far more controlled than that provided by a Kadin. Her ability to extend her mind to speak with others is great enough to cross over numerous islands. However, she suffers along the disciplines of creating all but the simplest of illusions or taking control of others minds. Xaiara excels in mental combat with other psionics users, and is quite handy with using her dagger.

Vehicle: None; see Levacius, the Griffon – Vehicle

Biography: Xaiara hails from a Ce-Koro on the Southern Continent wear tradition dictated that an older Toa would grant powers to an apprentice who was revealed by destiny to be future Toa, and train them before granting them the rest of their Toa power, and replacing the proceeding Turaga (or sometimes joining them for a time). Xaiara was found in the odd position where she was one of two Matoran in the village who bore within them latent Toa power. Though she showed much greater aptitude and potential than her second, and in all prior tests proved the superior, she awoke on the day of the final trial to find herself not in the village, but far away from it. All attempts to return to her village were blocked, and to this day, she is unaware why she was not chose to be the villages guardian. She was captured by a group of Dark Hunters working for an even larger organization of slavers during her travels at one point, but rescued by a Toa of Lightning identifying himself only as the Griffon. She chose to join him in his travels, and acts now in the position of his second in command and adjutant. She is one of few in the universe to know Levacius by his actual name, and address him by it while in situations beyond others ears. During the course of their travels since he beginning of immortality in the universe, she has died a single time.

Username: Toa Levacius Zehvor

Name: Ethtinial

Species: Fe-Matoran

Gender: Male

Description: Ethtinial is of roughly average size for a Fe-Matoran, if not slightly smaller. His armor is mostly a metallic grey, with a secondary coloration of burnt orange. His mask appears to be a Akaku with an attached scope that allows him to zoom in up to two increments of ten.

Ethtinial is incredibly smart, almost at genius levels, and understands military commands and tactics even better than Levacius himself (though his comparative lack of experience and lesser understanding of actual people, combined with lower ability to assume enemies actions on the fields, means that the two of them often need to work together whilst compiling plans). He’s very easily triggered and often engages in shouting matches with everyone, even those much larger and more powerful than him. He is quite scarred by having suffered two deaths since the beginning of immortality being provided.

Equipment: Ethtinial is very practical about what to use as a weapon – nothing medieval or archaic. As such, he uses one of a few cases of energy weapons in the ‘verse, a laser pistol that catches the rays of the sun and creates a beam of pure, cutting light. He has perfect aim with the weapon, even at long ranges, thanks to the scope on his mask.

Mask: Powerless Kanohi Akaku

Powers: Slightly increased hardiness due to being a Fe-Matoran. Ethtinial is a brilliant thinker, and easily notes enemy feints and attempts at strategy in single combat. His lack of any real powers means he’s more likely to rely on someone else to do actual fighting for him. This has only worsened due to having already died twice, and having some physical and emotional deterioration.

Vehicle: None; see Levacius, the Griffon – Vehicle

Biography: Ethtinial was originally one of the strategists for a minor warlord on Zakaz, a Skakdi who saw the value of Matoran as more than just slaves, but also as thinkers (who are also enslaved). When that Skakdi tried to not keep his half of a bargain with the Griffon, a smuggler who was bringing goods to him past the Brotherhood blockade, he found himself quickly crushed due to a little bit of extra assistance provided to his enemy – namely, a crate full of Nynrah Ghost tech. Ethtinial was impressed by the smuggler, and the Griffon was impressed with how quickly the Matoran was able to lead a mass Matoran escape. The whole twenty of them that managed to survive long enough to reach the shoreline were all rewarded with a quick passage off the island, and a Toa of Lightning swearing incessantly and declaring he was never going to Zakaz again (though he has, in fact, performed seventeen more blockade runs since then).

Ethtinial decided to stay on the ship after a long talk with the Griffon. The two became friends closely, sharing military strategies and swapping stories often. He rarely ventured off the ship, and as such was unprepared when the group was ambushed by a team of assassins. During the fighting, he took a laser beam through the chest, which was clearly fatal.

And it was. But not all the way. When the Griffon placed his body upon a pile of wood at the end of the day in preparation for a funeral pyre, little was done. When the Toa began channeling a bolt of lightning to set the entire thing aflame, he jumped up and immediately called for him.

With the presence of immortality across the universe, Ethtinial was alive once more. During their travels since then, he has died a second time as well due to reasons he would rather not discuss.

Username: Toa Levacius Zehvor

Name: Calxas

Species: Po-Toa

Gender: Male

Description: Calxas is a massive Toa of Stone wearing a Kanohi Kakama with a huge, jagged crack going through it. He carries massive battleaxe. He has a large, complex system on his back that allows a Kanoka Disk Launcher to pop up, along with targeting. Calxas is a rather jovial individual, prone to making jokes, but also a strong and dangerous combatant.

Equipment: Calxas wields a huge battleaxe that acts as his Toa Tool. He also has a Kanoka Disk Launcher that is strapped to his back on a device as mentioned earlier, much like the ones used by Steltians such as Krekka. The device automatically reloads within about five seconds time, and carries numerous Kanoka of power levels 1 to 6, (see Chart A for possibilities; Calxas can carry 24 with him at any one time in the device). Finally, it can combine Kanoka together to create the power that mask of that type would have (for instance, using a regeneration, enlarge, and remove poison combo to create a strength disk which could empower an ally).

Mask: Damaged (therefore Powerless) Great Kakama

Powers: Elemental Powers of Stone. Calxas isn’t a very proficient elementalist, but he can still make good use of creating and hurling stone spikes, or making an armor plating of solid rocks.

Vehicle: None; see Levacius, the Griffon – Vehicle

Biography: Calxas was, long ago, an adventurer who entertained himself on the Southern Continent. He often stood on the right side of the law, but due to having an overall good nature was easily exploitable during his initial days as a Toa and duped into doing illegal things. One such duper was the Griffon, a smuggling captain who decided to vacation in the same town Calxas was occupying. However, after watching the Toa of Stone selflessly save a large number of Matoran from an attacking Tunneler, and suffer an almost mortal wound in the process, the Griffon took it upon himself to save Calxas’ life. Afterwards, the Toa of Stone came to be another passenger on the Griffon, out to see the world at large. Over time, Calxas has become a bit more world weary, and constant exposure to wittier and more intelligent people has rubbed off on him, allowing him to follow conversations others might have trouble keeping up with. He recently suffered his first death in the land of immortality during the same fight that damaged his mask. He continues wearing it because, as he so happily states, “It makes me look scarier.”

Username: Toa Levacius Zehvor

Names: Erathor, Kael, Derathas, Veir, Orthia, Reteol

Species: Ta-Skakdi, Po-Matoran, Steltian Guard, Prime [Kalmah], Ga-Matoran, Vortixx

Gender: Male, Male, Male, Female, Female, Male

Description: Erathor is a red armored Skakdi. Kael is a brown armored Matoran wearing what appears to be a noble Ruru. Derathas is a rather bulky Steltian, with grey armor seconded by brown. Veir is a tall figure, quite a bit taller than a Toa, with a lithe, burnt red colored body covered in leather armor and glowing red eyes masked behind a strangely designed mask. Orthia is a blue and purple armored Matoran wearing what appears to be a great Hau. Reteol is a rather smallish Vortixx with the standard dark armoring.

Equipment: Erathor wields a Flame Pulse Emitter from Xia which allows him to direct his elemental powers in short bursts of fire before needing time to recharge, and also has an attached blade that allows him to impale enemies. Kael wields a pair of revolvers, a brown Stetson, and a brown trench coat. Derathas uses a rather long spear, even for his size, that can grant him a good twenty feet reach in some cases. Veir uses a protosteel crescent blade that’s easily sharp enough to slice through armor of lesser qualities, along with a number of paralytic poisons designed for application to the weapon, along with a set of armor crafted from Fader Bull leather to compensate for having less natural armoring than Toa and the like. Orthia carries a grossly disproportionate to her stature machine gun of Nynrah Ghost tech that rapidly fires burst of energy that expand into fields which weaken the target (a few seconds of solid shots is enough to kill, which is still less time than one firing bullets would entail). Reteol carries a pack full of medical items and tools, some rapid healing salves, and a sling.

Mask: Nil, Powerless Noble Ruru, Nil, Great Mask of Dodge (Kraata Level 5), Powerless Hau, Nil

Powers: Erathor possesses Elemental Powers of Fire when around another Skakdi, along with the ability of X-Ray visions and the power to grow larger and much stronger as he grows enraged. Kael has increased physical strength due to being a Po-Matoran. Derathas is incredibly physically strong and tough. Veir is incredibly fast and limber, and has the ability to heal injuries rather rapidly, and regenerate limbs over the course of a year.

Vehicle: None; see Levacius, the Griffon – Vehicle

Biography: In order of Derethas, Erathor, Reteol, Veir, Kael, and Orthia, this group has come to be part of the ship known as the Griffon, serving under their captain, Levacius. They are a rather impressive group, but only in comparison to the average – not to the above average. Derathas has died twice so far, with and Orthia, Reteol, and Erathor all having died once. Veir and Kael have both avoided death.

FINAL NOTE: Levacius is currently only accompanied by Calxas, away from the ship, leaving Xaiara in charge with Ethtinial, Reteol, and Derathas. Kael, Veir, and Orthia are off elsewhere.

Names: Albenidal

Species: Ta-Matoran

Gender: Male

Description: Albenidal is a rather unremarkable Matoran with red and orange armor. He wears what appears to be a Great Huna, but with a patch over his right eye and a wrap holding out on that goes around his head. He wears a blue cloak with a hood, though he rarely puts the hood up.

Not much is known about Albenidal, other than the fact that he worked as a mask maker in Ta-Metru. He’s always had a rather quiet personality, but when he’s talked, he’s often grumbled about wanting something more in life.

Equipment: Albenidal carries a firestaff with him at all times that has a sharpened edge on the opposite end from the fiery one that he has used in crafting masks.

Mask: Powerless Great Huna

Powers: Increased Fire Resistance (Ta-Matoran). Can forge powerless masks, given time; over a day or so he can forge a noble mask, though this is the extent of his mask making abilities, and he has never crafted a great mask of power.

Vehicle: Albenidal owns a small speeder that can reach up to eighty miles per hour and can have up to two beings of Toa size on it at a time. It is rather agile.

Biography: Albenidal was originally a rather talented mask maker in Ta-Metru, and though not one of the best, he always seemed to know what he was doing and never went beyond his abilities, simply living as best he could. He never shirked work, but never took too much up. This was until about a month ago, when he stopped showing up to work, and was eventually fired after a whole weeks of absence, when he returned with a patch covering his eye. Nobody knows where he goes when he isn’t working. However, he has been seen commonly in the Ga-Metru district, and occasionally spotted staring out into the ocean.

Name: Vertak

Species: Matoran of Gravity (Mutated)

Gender: Male

Description: Once full to the brim with emotion, Vertak has, on the surface, become emotionally dimmed since the events on Kai-Nam. However, he has beneath the surface beat himself up countless times for his inability to stop Lyxek. Once possibly one of the most determined individuals in the universe, repeated failures to reconnect with anyone from Kai-Nam or find hints as to Lyxek’s location have deprived Vertak of even this. However, recent leads towards one person in particular appear to have temporarily re-invigorated him.

Appearance can be found here.

Equipment: Vertak wears a cloak that helps him to remain hidden within the crowds and shadows by blending in with the environment. He also has a plain, circular shield that can clip onto his back beneath the cloak, and a simple, sturdy wooden staff. Built into his mask, Vertak also has a radio that he can use to summon his vehicle to him – but only if it is within a range about the size of Ta-Metru. In emergencies, Vertak can also use the radio to grant the A.I. of the Tumbler control over Vertak himself. More info on this later.

Mask: Kanohi Volitak, Mask of Steath

Powers: Control over Gravity and the ability to use his Kanohi Mask, thanks to experimental upgrades from The Shadowed One long ago. Thanks to additional training from The Shadowed One, Vertak's mind is also shielded, helping to protect him from mental attacks. Technically speaking, his slightly improved physical attributes such as strength and speed could be considered here too.

Vehicle: The Tumbler is 15 feet long, and 9.4 feet wide. It weighs 2.3 tons, and can accelerate from 0-60 miles in 6 seconds, with a maximum speed of 280 miles per hour. It has a jet engine at the back that can potentially push it to 300 miles per hour in the correct circumstances. The vehicle is fuelled by a huge tank of gasoline, which is as heavily armoured as the front. When attacking, the driver is repositioned to lie down in the center section between the two front wheels, giving far better protection to the driver and reduces the risk of injury when the driver makes extreme driving manoeuvres. The Tumbler has a pair of auto cannons mounted in the nose of the vehicle between the two front wheels, a rocket launcher, and caltrops that can be deployed from the rear of the vehicle. The front is heavily armoured so that the vehicle can ram as an offensive attack, while providing substantial protection to the driver. It has a stealth mode, which turns off the lights and cuts off the main engine, while the vehicle is powered by an electric motor, making the Tumbler very hard to find at night. This mode is also compatible to work with Vertak’s Kanohi Volitak. The Tumbler also includes a landing hook to sprung landing stabilization, an integrated fire-extinguishing system, and integrated safety connection to gasoline control, and an A.I. program, which helps to run everything in the vehicle, and has a near infinite memory database.

The A.I. program was designated as “Tavyn” by itself upon going rogue during the rebellion against Lyxek on Kai-Nam. It has control over all of the Tumbler’s systems; the A.I. is, in effect, one with the vehicle. Although somewhat snarky, thanks to some clever re-programming on Vertak’s part the A.I. is completely loyal to him. In emergencies the A.I. can be granted control over Vertak’s body to get him to safety – Vertak has only used this feature once upon his first death, and the experience was extremely unsettling. Although extremely efficient in allowing Vertak to retain all of his possessions, the experience caused the Matoran and Tavyn to become one jumbled, sometimes rambling consiousness in control of Vertak’s body and the Tumbler, without the ability to properly use either of them. This lasted for three days before the two separated and Vertak, although mentally scarred by the incident, was able to live somewhat normally within a week.

Biography: Once a member of The Dark Hunters, Vertak went rogue after a mission in Metru-Nui and went on the run, where he eventually winded up on Kai-Nam participating in the Day Run tournament. Whilst there he came into possession of “Rhindon”, one personality half of a powerful legendary sword – when Lyxek emerged victorious and Vertak woke up later the legendary sword was gone. Vertak has not used a sword since, and it cost him his life once to his old foe, a Ko-Matoran known as Djoser. Along with his current search for whom he believes to be Sanshou somewhere in Metru-Nui, Vertak is also on the lookout for clues to Djoser’s current location.

Name: Elittra

Species: Matoran of Lightning (Mutated)

Gender: Female

Description: Mysterious and aloof, Elittra appears at first glance to be a Matoran who is happy to drift through life and allow every event to change her life – which, to an extent, she does. However, she is always looking for subtle ways to make other beings do what she wants them to in a particular moment, rather than risk it herself. Elittra is generally optimistic and likeable, which has not been changed by the immortality factor. She is very quiet, allowing others to speak in her stead and listening before speaking or acting. Elittra is also very graceful, gentle and agile – especially in battle.

She is around the same height as Vertak (above the average Matoran), although perhaps a few centimeters shorter. Her armor is very rounded and streamlined compared to most beings, whose armor is jagged and rough. In addition, her armor is mostly bright (Mata) blue, along with her Kanohi, with white accents throughout and white patches at the tips of her shoulders and her ankles. Couple with her streamlined armor, it appears as if Elittra might have been created from the sea. Often she may also be seen with either a pale gray scarf around her neck or a pale gray traveller’s cloak.

Equipment: Elittra carries a trident very similar in style to Nikila’s, albeit smaller to fit her. In addition, she has a set of twelve magnets she can attach to her fingers and the palms of her hands that can allow her to attach herself to any metal surface when used. Since Kai-Nam, Elittra has also collected an array of throwing knives that she keeps in the inside of her cloak and perfected her usage of, as well as a lightning bolt shaped rod designed specifically for users of the lightning element to channel their powers, giving attacks she makes using it a bit of extra oomph.

Mask: Mask of Possibilities

Powers: Elittra has received an upgrade similar to Vertak, although it is unknown how she came by it as she was never a member of the Dark Hunters. However, she is able to use her Kanohi and also has control over the element of Lightning.

Vehicle: A hover speeder called “The Wave” – it’s pretty much the hovering equivalent of a motorcycle. The vehicle is designed to mimic and match Elittra’s armour perfectly, allowing her and the vehicle to literally blend and match together. This allows for faster acceleration and speed, as well as less wind resistance.

Biography: Elittra’s life before Kai-Nam is completely unknown, other than her knack for showing up at the important events of history seemingly just for the sake of them being important events of history. Since Kai-Nam, she has focused herself on training in the usage of throwing knives to better protect herself in the new immortal world, as well as building the Wave. She has also remained partnered with the Toa of Fire known as Artorre for this time period, and recently the two have been researching ways to re-introduce the Vahki into a destitute Metru-Nui.

The Grim Reaper

Username: Capua

Name: Veran

Species: Toa of Air

Gender: Male

Description: A rather handsome Toa, Veran stands at eight feet tall with a charismatic grin on his face permanently. Seriously, it’s nothing like a Skakdi’s psychotic smirk, but instead a nice showing of white teeth. He wears a dark green Mask of Intangibility, in the shape of a Rau. Along with his mask, Veran also has a nice pair of leather black gloves that he normally wears, along with a billowing black cloak that has a hood on it, Veran sometimes slipping it over his face. His armor is emerald green, but it’s the runic designs on it that are a piece of work. Intricate black swirls are painted all over his armor and although it is unknown what these body paintings mean, they have a certain important feel to them.

A psychotic, Veran snapped many years ago and has just continued down the path of insanity. A psychopath who believes in the work that he is doing, Veran is somewhat of a giggling maniac who gets his kicks off murder and blood. He justifies his actions by claiming to be enlightening people. By making them realize that death is nothing to be taken for granted, perhaps they will be saved from the fate of his beloved, Demitia. While he is clearly insane, Veran still holds his former lover very close and her recovery might be the only thing that can bring him back from the brink.

He's rather light-hearted, always having fun at the expense of others and laughing at the people around him. A joker, his style is somewhat sarcastic and drips with irony. In his eyes, even though his jokes often result in the deaths of people, he still considers himself hilarious and a comedic genius. His original personality pre-immortality was a lot different, but it has been forgotten along with the life he used to have.

Equipment: Wields a scythe in battle and is fully aware of the irony related to that due to most Matoran’s perception of death being a grim reaper-like Toa kind of being. Veran doesn’t really care, though. He’s rather skilled with a scythe and goes along nicely with his elemental powers. He can use the scythe to slice through pretty much everything; bread, armor, and even bodies. It’s not strong enough to slice through protosteel, though, which is something that Veran finds very annoying.

Mask: Mask of Intangibility – allows the user to ‘phase’ or pass through solid objects and attacks that might harm Veran. It takes a lot of focus to use it and it tires the user out depending on the size of the object that they’re phasing through.

Powers: He has elemental control over air and all that entails. So he can basically create huge gusts of wind to throw people around with and Veran realizes how enjoyable that is. The way he moves in a fight is much like that of a trickster, he jumps around the battlefield, dodging attacks and throwing powerful blasts of wind at people to tear through them.

Vehicle: N/A

Biography: Before immortality came into the picture of the Matoran Universe, Veran was an entirely different person. He was incredibly happy and a noble Toa who had fought and won many battles. The main source behind his happiness was another Toa, Demitia. The two had met when battling Dark Hunters in the southern continent and had fallen in love since that day. Love wasn’t an easy thing to come by in the Universe, so Veran considered himself to be one of the luckiest men alive. They were even set to be married in Metru-Nui. However, his luck wouldn’t last forever. When the couple discovered their newfound immortality, they reacted in two different ways. Veran became intrigued by what had caused this and Demitia became careless. She could not die! Veran soon found his girlfriend had changed into something for the worse. She no longer cared for her life, she figured that she could be resurrected an infinite amount of times. She was now a daredevil. She threw herself off buildings, went into battle against dark hunters without a care in the world. Eventually though, Veran and Demitia discovered the darker side of immortality.

Demitia’s body had become immobile. She had abused it to its very limit and now it was beaten up. She was left in an agonized state, unable to move or even pass on. Veran watched his living girlfriend turn into a zombie, left in a coma. The doctors claimed that there was nothing that they could do… Veran believed they were wrong, though. He would find a way to help her; he would find a cure to this curse. His obsession with saving her caused him to go insane and now he spends his time enlightening others on the price of immortality.

All approved--and yes, Levacius, I did read all of your profiles completely through in the span of less than thirty minutes. :P

A couple for notes for the following, though:

Levacius: Whenever you have time, shoot me a PM regarding "the resurrection of a number of the eldritch threats [Levacius] has defeated in the past." The reason I'm requesting this is because the Immortal Factor didn't revive beings who were already dead--that's why people like Makuta Jaeda, Zanth, Suya, and Illuxio didn't come back, even though the latter three died literally right before it was put into place. However, these "eldritch threats" have caught my interest, so I'd be willing to discuss a work-around for them. =)

Constructman: Your character is missing a personality in the Description field. Do me a favor and fill that in as soon as you can. ;)

Name: Seraf

Species: Toa of Shadow

Gender: Male

Description: Seraf is a Toa of undisputed beauty, possessing a charming face and a charismatic matter in which he does things. He’s been compared to a dark angel in the way he moves and acts. Shadow seems to be attracted to him as it follows him around like a dark cloud, cloaking him in it and protecting him from his enemies. It wraps around his body like a dark cloak, hiding his features from the light. He’s built like an average Toa, with lean muscle and red and black armor that fits over his body. Strangely, he has lacerations around his neck from where he was hung to death. He wears a Kanohi Ruru that is in the shape of a black Great Mahiki. His red eyes can be seen glowing brightly behind them, yet they’re also filled with compassion.

A heavy believer in destiny and such, Seraf is highly religious. He was once past redemption as he previously believed, but thanks to immortality, he now has a chance to atone for his past sins. That is what Seraf has devoted his new life too, serving the Great Spirit and helping the helpless. Somewhat cheesy and a little too devoted to his ideas, Seraf nonetheless believes greatly in what he is doing and that it will help the people of the Matoran Universe. In his darker moments, he struggles with all of the blood that he spilt many years ago in the service of darkness.

Equipment: Formerly he wielded an axe which was great for hacking limbs apart and such, but now he wields a more heroic sword. Kept hidden in his shadow-y cloak, the silver blade is rather large and the hilt has an ornate design on it.

Mask: Kanohi Ruru – the mask of night vision, allowing Seraf to navigate through the darkness as if it was his home.

Powers: He wields the power of darkness itself and despite it’s connotation with evil and wrongdoing, Seraf uses it for good, creating shadow constructs that acts as shields or guardians to Matoran that he wants to protect.

Vehicle: N/A

Biography: One of the greatest killers that history will ever know, Seraf was a serial killer in Metru-Nui who covered his tracks exceptionally well so that no Toa or the authorities would come after him. Originally just a nobody from Le-Metru, he was experimented on and drained of his light, transformed into a Matoran of Shadow and eventually into a Toa of Shadow. When he first started to kill people in Metru-Nui, it was simply ritual sacrifice to his dark lord, the Makuta. However, the bodies of his victims were eventually uncovered and he was caught by several Toa heroes. The authorities decided to execute him for his heinous crimes and they decided to hang him to death. Fortunately for him, this was the day that immortality was introduced to the Matoran Universe. Taking it as a sign that Makuta had abandoned him and that Mata-Nui had saved him, he gave his life to the Great Spirit and turned over a new leaf. He became very religiously devoted and decided to protect the innocents that he once preyed on.

Hey Parugi, I forgot to add in Vertak's mental shielding to the list of his powers - would I be approved to add that back in? As of now it'd kind of break all Day Run continuity concerning him since he got it (I believe) halfway through, but if you think he shouldn't have it, I can always think up an excuse.

As discussed.

Username: Basilisk

Name: Sigjol (normally with the Makuta prefix)

Species: Makuta (though obviously, in a state closer to death then life)

Gender: Not applicable. Antidermis can't really have a gender.

Description: Sigjol is a cloud of green antidermis encased in a suit of protosteel armor. The armor itself bears some resemblance to the Toa body set, though on a much larger scale. He is a tall being, standing a few heads taller then most Toa. His arms end in clawed hands and his legs end in similar claws, ensuring he is never completely unarmed. He wears a mask of Rahi Control and his eyes glow a fading red. His armor is colored a dark grey with light grey as a secondary color. His protosteel armor however, has been patched numerous times, with ugly splotches of scrap metal breaking up this color scheme with varying colors, only his mask remains untouched. The armor is also, upon closer observation, quite beat up, pitted with scars and dents. It is clear Sigjol has seen better days.

Personality wise, Sigjol was once a proud and haughty being, unafraid of marching against the God of Death and facing it on the battlefield. Those days have come and gone. Sigjol has changed from the typical Makuta, no longer does he enter into every situation sure of victory and he tries to avoid combat if he can. Sigjol never cared for the ambitions of the other Makuta and went his own way as much as he could without having his mask nailed to a wall somewhere. This has not changed at least. These days, Sigjol is a careful, patient planner. He knows not how bad things have gotten in the outside world, but the implications of immortality of the sort the God of Death has brought horrifies him. He seeks to undo some of the damage, or at least, alleviate the pain. He is a desperate being, knowing that a fate worse then death is right around the corner should he slip up and this drives him. He seeks to recover some of his former strength and then.....well, then he will study. Learn. Plan.

If he ever gets off the miserable rock he is currently trapped on.

Equipment: His armor, made of Protosteel is tough and durable...but it has been patched and repaired with rubble from the ship, making it much less durable then it would otherwise be. He is not able to perform extensive repairs to it with the resources he currently has and every time he does repair it, he is risking his life as what little antidermis remains within him could escape, sealing his fate. His armor remains functional however, and he can handle objects and walk just fine, but the weak points in his suit are easy to identify, giving him reason to avoid battles if at all possible. His primary weapon, a staff crafted of protosteel still retains some of it's former glory however. It is a deadly melee weapon due to the large blade mounted at it's topmost point and he can use it to channel his shadows powers at a slightly lower cost to his energy, helping him stay in the fight for longer then he would otherwise be able to though fighting in a prolonged battle is still out of the question.

Mask: A Mask of Rahi control. This is one power he can still make use of without drawing upon his weakened essence. Though he cannot control a legion of Rahi with it, giving commands to thousands of different creatures is insanely difficult at the best of times, let alone when one is one slip up away from one's demise. At best, he can control a small swarm and even that might distract him too much for him to be useful in battle.

Powers: At one point, Sigjol was just as powerful as any Makuta. These days however, his powers are limited. He retains his connection to the element of shadow and can make use of it...but it costs him dearly. It draws upon what little of his essence is left and the mental strain of calling upon his very element drains him quite quickly, meaning he cannot fight long and drawn out battles. Aside from this, he has lost access to most of the Kraata powers and retains only basic connections to the shapeshifting ability....and his is unable to make use of it due to the energy required. He can still create Kraata, but even spawning one of them is nearly enough to end his existence, so understandably, he only does this sparingly. The damage to his essence is so severe that even if he managed to absorb other beings or otherwise heal the damage, he would still be a shadow of his former self. He might be able to call upon the shadows, shapeshifting and create Kraata as he used to, but all other powers are lost to him. If he loses what little essence he has left, he will be, for all intents and purposes, dead. His energies scattered around the world and his sentience along with it.

Vehicle: Formerly, Sigjol used an impressive airship, the Indomitable as a transport. It was an impressive craft. Dagger-shaped and sporting protosteel armor and Xian made energy weapons. It was the pride of his forces and it's appearance on the battlefield was enough to route enemy forces. Now it is a ruin, unable to move and stuck to a rocky outcropping in the seas. It's systems are barely functional and it's weapons no longer have the energy to fire. It is, for all intents and purposes, much like it's owner. Nearly gone, but clinging grimly to existence anyhow. Great scars dot it's armor now and it's engines are little more then nests for sea-faring rahi. Great holes have been torn into it's sides and what lights still show in it's view ports flicker and die for hours at a time. Such is the fate of any craft at flies against the God of Death.

Biography: Today, the name Sigjol brings to mind pride and foolish courage. When the God of Death returned and destroyed the age of mortality, Sigjol refused to stand down and go into hiding even as the universe crumbled around him. Sigjol gathered whatever forces he could and attempted to march upon the God of Death....only to find out how the title of "God" is earned. Sigjol's forces were crushed, scattered and for the most part, trapped in the deathless state, living but unable to move. Sigjol himself was nearly completely destroyed his antidermis essence largely scattered, leaving only a few shreds remaining in his tattered protosteel shell. Most believe him to be trapped in the same state as his forces. As it turns out, this is not the case. Sigjol still exists, barely clinging to existence. He was not always like this of course, being a proud of member of the Brotherhood of Makuta and the head of a legion of Rahkshi at one point in his history.

Sigjol is an old being, part and parcel to being a Makuta. He worked with Mutran and many others as they crafted the Rahi of the universe and he takes credit for the design of the Nui-Rama and Nui-Kopen, pointing with pride to their hive-like mentality and the like of internal strife in a Rama hive. He is quite proud of his creations, feeling that they embody the concepts the Matoran strive for better then they ever could. Consider this, the Rama hive is totally unified. No one questions any orders all, do their duty to the hive. The destiny of each hive is clear, to survive and prosper....even if it is at the expense of other lifeforms. Of course, these days, he is a bit more silent about the matter. As the ages wore on however and the Brotherhood underwent a transformation after it's leader was overthrown, Sigjol reluctantly threw his support behind the Plan. He become isolated from the Brotherhood over the years however, sending in only the occasional report from his isolated island.

Within his island keep however, he plied the secrets of the universe, experimenting with Rahi after Rahi, conducting experiments involving mixtures of Visorak venom and energized protodermis and delving deep into the energies that run through the bodies of every being. In time he assembled a collection of books and research notes that were considered to be the definitive work on the subject. Sigjol, during this time, did not ask why, but how. Why beings existed did not concern him and, in time, he began to doubt that the Great Beings were truly deserving of that title, feeling that they might be just the latest in a long line of life forms. When the God of Death rose however, things changed quickly for him. No longer fearing death, nearby islands launched numerous invasions, seeking to drive him out. Sigjol, knowing that he had to deal with the cause of this upset, rather then the symptoms, Sigjol retreated in the face of these forces. He rallied his forces together into one large fleet and sailed against the God of Death.

The details of this battle have long been lost and Sigjol refuses to speak of it, having suppressed those memories through sheer will power but the results speak for themselves. Sigjol's airship barely crawled away from the battlefield, eventually crashing into a rocky outcropping in the seas near Metru Nui. Here Sigjol dwells, lamenting his failures and drafting new plans. He cannot rip out the cancer, so he will settle for treating the effects. Mutation, he believes, might alleviate the effects of a fourth death. Though he has no means to test this theory. In truth, Sigjol does not trust he has the strength to make the journey to land. So there he sits, brilliant but fading. On the edge of existence and a screaming void of pain and eternity.

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You are wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.

Name: Tharrak

Species: Skakdi of Fire

Gender: Male

Description: Tharrak is larger than most Skakdi, and has a rather imposing appearance. His armour is black with red highlights, but it has worn out over time, leaving it more of a grey shade. His head and spine are similar to Thok's.

Tharrak has seen some very horrible things on Zakaz, and it shows. Seeing all the death and hopelessness on his island has caused him to slowly lose his natural love of violence, and to some extent his sanity. He sees the faces of the dead in every dream, and sometimes even when he's awake. All that is left of Tharrak is a sad, bitter old Skakdi.

Equipment: Tharrak has looted many pieces of equipment from the mass graveyard that is Zakaz, such as an automatic rifle that he keeps with him at all times. He also wears a backback filled with many different tools, as well as a few smaller weapons.

Mask: N/A

Powers: Tharrak has natural fire powers, but can only access them when with another Skakdi. He also possesses the ability to liquify himself and reform at will, though he is unable to move or communicate as a liquid, though he still has access to all five senses.

Vehicle: N/A

Biography: Tharrak spent most of his first life doing what Skakdi do best: Fighting. He was like many of his kind, stranded on Zakaz, killing each other for territory, resources and sport. Then he was shot dead for the first time and dumped in a very deep hole. Months later, with his body repaired, he finally managed to get out, to find his home island devoid of life. He has been wandering Zakaz ever since, picking up supplies as he goes.

Username: BladeName: KairanSpecies: Toa of LightningGender: MaleDescription: Personality; Kairan's personality has drastically changed from his KNPD days. Due to discovering the conspiracies behind the KNPD and the Ring, along with meeting up with different people, Kairan has become less focused on fulfillment of justice, and more driven to stop this madness from progressing any further. He has shown great loyalty to those he considers his friends, and fell unconscious due to shock when he was shown a false vision of one of them being killed. He is willing to sacrifice himself, if it means that everyone is safe, and the universe is too. After Lyxek's plans succeeded, Kairan became demoralized for a time; however, he recently returned to most of his old personality. However, the demoralized persona still sneaks in at times, and he also tends to crack jokes at times.Appearance: Kairan is a standard shape Toa, standing at approximately seven feet tall. Unlike typical Toa of Lightning, he is coloured green, and has hints of grey and black in his colour scheme, and obviously is also male, which is not typical for Toa of Lightning as well. Kairan wears a Miru in an 'Air adapted' form, which is also green. Although Kairan himself is typical for a Toa, his armour is different; and was only recently obtained, as his old armour had been damaged in multiple fights, even though it had been more or less repaired after the first few fights he had been in. His armour now resembles a mix between his old armour, the standard Guild of Tyis armour, and custom additions he had added. For instance, he now has wrist guards, which, while they don't restrict the movement of his hands, provide protection that would otherwise be missing. The guards resemble a 'v' when looked at from the top or bottom, and both pieces of each guard are connected at the side. He also has new boots, and some ankle guards of sorts, though they are not as different from normal ankle guards, as the wrist guards are from normal ones. Kairan kept his mask the same as it was for the moment, out of respect for Team Wing, even if another mask would be more suitable. Aside from those armour changes, he now wears a belt-like sheath, instead of having it on his back, claiming slightly faster reaction times. Due to the fight to stop Lyxek's plans, Kairan's old armour is almost totally gone, however more additions to his armour makes it look like the old pieces that were kept, just more refined. In addition, his upper armour has gotten more of a 'coat' look to it, as if he is wearing a jacket.Equipment: Blade of the Shade(His old sword given at the Guild of Tyis, renamed due to the defeat on Kai Nam)Mask: A Miru shaped like it was adapted to an air environment.Powers: Lightning, levitation(Thanks to Miru)Vehicle: N/A, destroyed currently.Biography: Once looking for revenge against the people responsible for his island's destruction, he eventually put that aside to focus on getting justice for the people in the here and now. He tried to help stop Lyxek's plan, however that did not go well, and he proceeded to wander the Matoran Universe after that, in shock at what happened, claiming to be in 'retirement' from helping people. However, he has recently returned to the main islands, with a newly resolved personality. With that said, he seems to have more of a grim take on things, although he isn't unwilling to crack a joke here or there.

It's just what I sent you; only with a couple updates due to realizing that current Kairan has a similar personality to a certain someone in a certain TV series currently. =PThe whole 'retired' stuff will stay in play at the start, since I want to have fun with that. =P

Name: Artorre

Species: Toa of Fire

Gender: Male

Appearance: A relatively tall toa of fire, wearing all-black armor over most of his body. Several pieces of his armor have faint traces of other colors underneath black paint, indicating replacement over the years. Despite being a Komau, his Kanohi is shaped like a Calix. Sword and throwing knives are completely black, although the former is often of fire.

Personality: Artorre is still a generally kind and caring person, considering. He tends, however, to dissasociate criminals and those he believes to be impeding justice with humanity in general. Holds vahki, and a very selective group of people, in very high regard. This group of people is currently limited to his friend Elittra, and several officers he used to know in his KNPD days. The former because, as he is well aware, if it wasn't for her, he'd probably be a mentally unstable pile of ripped flesh and shattered bones, only able to communicate with telepaths that passed by him.

Equipment: Equipment: A straight, black sword, which he can light on fire at will, and 10 throwing knives. Has a small, and therefore relatively weak, shield generator in chestplate. Also has devices in his boots which counteract gravity and allow him to jump much higher than most.

Mask: Great Kanohi Komau

Powers: Fire

Vehicle: A 5-foot tall, 10-foot long protosteel motorcycle with a bulletproof windshield extending over the rider. Has two side-mounted rocket launchers, a battering ram on the front, and a device that launches sawblades above that. Contains a basic A.I, who manifests himself as a motorcycle cop, although he does not have a personality.

Biography: Before the revival of Ruaki, Artorre was a law-enforcement officer in the KNPD, and a participant in the Day Run. Since then, he has roamed as far away from Kai-Nam as possible, making attempts at reeastblishing government and law enforcement in locations that have descended into anarchy at some times, and searching for ways to allow people to finally die, or have flawless immortality, at others. Currently, he's focusing on restoring the vahki in Metru-Nui with Elittra.

Name: Bristle (names being a relative novelty among the Visorak, he chose a word he fancied)

Species: Visorak (Roporak)

Gender: Male

Description: Bristle is typical member of his species in terms of appearance, he is a spider-like being with four legs, large mandibles and he sports a noticeable ridge running up the front of his face. He has the typical blue eyes of his kind and his mandibles are colored a light silver. His torso and feet are a dark brown in color and the rest of his body is dark red. He is not a particularly muscular fellow, preferring to stick to the shadows if it all possible. He sports a few scars from close encounters and there is a rather nasty one running down the side of his face. He is a very good acrobat however, and he is very much in shape due to the fact these skills are called into use quite often.

Personality wise, he is quite pragmatic in his outlook at life. He rather enjoys having a few fallback lives in case he slips up on a job, but he has not made the mistake of allowing himself to grow overconfident. He takes most things in stride and looks at life with fairly detached eyes. He doesn't crave power or riches, he craves enough money to buy that book he fancies and assassination and spying just happens to be something he was already good at. He simply shrugs at the mention of destiny or the great spirit, pointing out that those legends belong to the Matoran, not his kind. He is calm, logical and somewhat self-centered. He is not actively malicious and is familiar with charity, but other people are not always at the forefront of his mind. The murder of innocents will get his blood up though, he prides himself on being a professional and professionals kill only the target-they don't slaughter their way through guards or kill for the sheer joy of it. Assassination is a job like any other and you don't see a painter throwing his paint all over passerby do you?

Equipment: Built-in Rhotuka launcher, an ability shared by his entire species but worth noting here. This weapon has several powers that are noted below.

Mask: Not applicable

Powers: Like all Roporak, he can blend in with many environments at will thanks to his chameleon ability which renders him virtually invisible. This has been a great boon to him, allowing to him to breach places otherwise unreachable and reach information that is very secure indeed. His Rhotuka has two powers, it allows him to stun his enemies at a distance, so long as it hits them and drain energy from a target. It cannot do the same at once however, one effect per shot. He typically stuns any guards who get in his way, reserving his energy drain ability for especially hardy and stubborn guards or to disable a target.

Vehicle: Bristle does not own a vehicle in the traditional sense, instead relying on a trained Venom Flyer (whom he refers to as Swordwing in public and other, less dignified names in private.). This Venom Flyer has been trained to accept a passenger and it cannot really hold much cargo, being a means of transportation, not storage. Bristle often hunts with it, feeding both of them on hard journeys. It is a normal Venom Flyer in every other respect minus the coloration, which is similar to Bristle's coloration in many regards. That is to say it is insectoid in nature, somewhat resembles a Visorak with wings and sports long grasping limbs. This flyer is outfitted with a saddle-like piece of equipment that allows Bristle to ride in relative comfort and with minimal fear of falling to his death. It is fed a steady diet of free-range Rahi and unfortunate rivals with questionable ethics. Bristle is a professional after all and it wouldn't do to have a bunch of psychopaths ruin the name of a perfectly good profession. It's only ability of note, beyond flight, is the fact it's Rhotuka launcher can rob a person or device of it's ability to fly.

Biography: Bristle is a consummate survivor. He ducked out of the Horde when it was consumed by the civil war and made for Stelt. He had lived his life as a warrior of the Horde up until that point, but he intended to make up for lost time. He had been subsumed by a larger whole for much too long. There on Stelt he decided to start living his life with one person in mind, himself. No more would he bow and scrap before others but rather, he would work for himself. He would make his own hours and take only the jobs he wished to. He had fled on a Venom Flyer, Swordwing and that rahi is the closest thing to a companion Bristle has. The Visorak dotes on his pet, though he is loath to admit this. The Flyer proved invaluable as a means of transportation as well. Combined with his natural abilities, this meant that Bristle soon made a name for himself as an assassin and spy in the underworld. He used much of his ill-gotten gains learning to read and educating himself, eager to learn about the universe that had so long been denied to him.

When immortality was visited on the universe, Bristle greeted it with a resounding: "Well. That makes my job more interesting." He certainly doesn't intend to die...ever...but he always thought himself clever enough and quick enough to avoid that consequence of existence. He does view immortality as a positive, so long as one is careful about it. After all, being born is no crime....so there is no reason it should warrant the death sentence. He is currently on assignment in Xam-Nui, seeking intelligence on the Ring for a Rahkshi warlord.

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You are wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.

Name: Crusax
Species: Lurker's Species.
Gender: Male
Description: As a member of Lurker's species, he greatly resembles that Dark Hunter in the terms of physical characteristics. Minus the extra limbs and armor, which were additions made to Lurker by the Dark Hunters. He is a very fit member of his species and possess great strength, compensating somewhat for his lack of any elemental powers. He shares the same coloration as Lurker, which is to say a rather dark red all around with a little bit of a black trim. His eyes are a dark green however and though he lacks the claws of Lurker, he packs enough of a punch to compensate for it somewhat. His body is his weapon to some extent and his reflexes are excellent. He is very skilled at what he does and this evident from looking at him. He does sport a set of armor, though it is not of the same quality as Lurkers. This armor is bronze in terms of coloration and matches his blade in color.
Crusax is a warlord without a war to fight or an army to lead. He feels alive when he fights and tends to be silent and withdrawn when it is not imminent. To him there is no better way to get the measure of a being then a friendly duel with them. In battle all beings are stripped bare of all lies, masks and deceptions and only the truth remains. That is his creed. If he considers someone a valued ally and has dueled with them, he'll open up quite a bit. These beings know him as a loyal, introspective and amibitious being. He is very well educated though he chooses not to show it. The art of war is his primary concern. He belongs at the head of an army and in this age of depression and decay....there is no place for him and part of him knows it. To that end, he has thrown himself into battle after battle, hoping to find some meaning in this new existence. What point is there to war when no one has the will to fight? He hates the God of Death and will do anything within his power to topple him. For that however, he would need an army, something he is lacking.
Equipment: He has a great sword forged from some of the finest metals available. It is a large blade and has a very long reach. With the press of a button the blade will ooze a small dose of posion which gradually saps the victims strength and power. He also has a set of armor which, while not as effective as other armor does it's job well enough while allowing him plenty of freedom in the movement department. Both blade and armor are bronze in color. Beyond this he has a small sack for storing food and other such things. He is seeking purpose and has no real other possessions. He doesn't have any ranged weapons and crossess into melee combat as quickly as he can. He is extremely skilled with his chosen weapon. It has nearly become an extension of his body.
Mask: None.
Powers: None.
Vehicle: None. He has paid his way to Xia, where he hopes to find some meaning in this bleak world.
Biography: Crusax has fought for as long as he can remember. He left his island at a young age, having had a dispute with some of the elders of his kind, a dispute that ended in a small revolt that was put down quite quickly. Crusax was dragged before the elders for a peace conference, his followers imprisoned or driven into the wilds. He escaped his bonds however and slaughtered his way through the elders and their guards. Hunted and feared, he left his island far behind. He worked with any number of armies, fighting in revolutions and wars or simply working as a guard. In combat he found meaning and truth. He has come to believe that the only way to get a true measure of any being was in combat and how they fight. They can lie about their past, but they cannot lie about how they fight. A street rat will fight like a street rat, a knight like a knight....and so on and so forth. He eventually ended up in the gladiator arena's of Stelt. He fought many other warriors there and slew many of them.
Then during one match, after his enemy had been felled, he rose up to challenged him again. This was how he learned about the entry of immortality. Since then he has wondered from island to island, looking for something to occupy his time. Battle is fast becoming pointless and what is a warrior without a war to fight? What is a sword with no enemy to strike? He would try to stop this God of Death if he could, but he has no idea where to start. He is currently on Xia, for reasons even he is unsure of. Perhaps he seeks to die fighting, perhaps he seeks old weapons, perhaps he seeks an army. He knows only that he is seeking something. Anything.
