Now that's an amazing feat. I wish I could build something like that in the future. But what really amazes me, is that it actually works.

Yep, those studs would hurt clearly if you're playing a racing game and wants to go faster than the game allows you and you push that botton way too hard. ![]()

That is the biggest video game controller I've ever seen, and that's what makes it awesome. If I had a NES, I would definitely use this as a controller if I owned it.

Pretty cool how he got it to work. Really, this kind of thing wouldn't be too hard, since he was doing it with a NES emulator. All it requires is to wire it as a keyboard and that has a driver that would work with the computer. And since it is done with an emulator, technically he could run different platforms besides NES.

Of course, those platforms would have to have only as many control inputs as the NES itself. Which is really just four directional controls and four other buttons. It makes me wonder if one could build a more complex controller, perhaps one with at least one analog stick. But it certainly would be a lot harder than the rectangular NES controller.
