Thanks to BrickFair Alabama and some other things, we're a little behind in our set reviews, but not for long! Today Forum Mentor Gatanui takes a look at 44003 Scarox, one of the new Hero Factory villains. Should you welcome him into your home or keep this brainwashed monster as far away from you as possible? You'll have to read on to find out!

So far, Scarox is my favourite villain from the winter line of Brain Attack. He just looks so good, the short arms don't bother me that much and he generally looks great. :3
Thanks again Gata.
Also known as Vinyl Scratch, ~(Natalie Breez)~ or Creep Of The Deep.
Man, I need more friends here... :/

Thanks for the review, Gata!
Scarox looks great. I especially like the head. And, well, it has golden parts, which is always welcome to me if paired with black. Green doesn't clash in this set, IMO.

Credits go to Strack for the awesome sprite.
I'm an Emerging Fluidic Master (again). Time to start working on my Waterbending.
I'm still a ninja although I think I'm losing my skills as one.

I think that this set could've used a few more gold pieces, especially for its torso. It still looks like a cool set though.
Thanks for the review Gata!

I really like this set from a looks perspective. Design wise. I don't like the function everything else is fine to me. But I plan on fixing that once I get back home to my parts.

Gorast. Waspix. Now this...really?And Nui-Jaga, Visorak, Fenrakk, and probably a dozen other examples of BIONICLE arthropods. Turns out BIONICLE and Hero Factory alike are simply very good for building those kinds of things. I don't see how it's a problem to revisit the idea from time to time.
Of course, if you're talking about four-armed sets in particular rather than arthropod-inspired sets, then you left out XT4 from the HF Breakout series and Spidermonkey from the Ben 10 Alien Force sets.

Probably the only set from this wave I'm looking to pick up. The Predator face with the fangs is incentive enough.
