So I was lucky enough to find a great deal on bionicles (8 Bohrok and 2 Toa metru for $15)

I went over to pick up the item and the dealer said "If you're interested I also have this box of misc. parts, $10"

So sure why not, but after rebuilding all the sets from the misc parts I got

-3 more Bohrok

-1 Bohrok Va

-Toa Metru Matau

-Toa Metru Vakama

-Toa metru Nokama

-Visorak Vohtarak

-2 Vahki Nuurahk

-Nidhiki

-Krekka

-Keetongu

-Sidorak

-Rahaga Pouks

-Rahaga Kualus

-5 Mctoran

And lots of other loose parts and masks   :D

I remember getting a very good deal a while ago...
Not so sure about this but shouldn't this go into the Bionicle Sets & Collectables?

i asked my friend back in 2003 if i could have the teal kakama, and told him i'd give him $5 but only had a nickle on me at the time, he came out with a box, and i looked inside, and dug around for it, and he instead gave me the box, it had makuta, some rahkshi, some bohrok, a red and a black bohrok va, some masks, both tarakava except the blue shoulders, and many loose aprts, and a few toa sets from 2001, all this for a nickle, also about a week later he dropped off another small box, which contained another makuta, an exo-toa, many weapons, and parts from mctoran sets. as for anything else i leave to memory.

had (somewhat) good friends, note it was a long time ago, i've been very lucky/fortunate, i more recently got the rare, and might i add, mint condition Copper kanohi komau off of ebay, along with 3 masks i didn't have and 1 i did, (though another never hurts, i like having 2 if possible, i'm a purest when it comes to bionicle, and believe large rahi should have 2 masks) all of this i got for $6 (note that the komau is $30 alone) also, i got the 10023 master builder set instructions along with enough peices to build all 15 rahi at the same time, it amazing condition too, with rare old dark grey toa mata feet, 2 orange pikari, and so one, for $15 (the original set was $12, i'm a happy camper.

Are Mctoran the McDonald's Matoran?

yes, mctoran is a quickway of writing mcdonald's matoran, however i usually refer to them as tohunga, seeing that it was their original name, and that it specifically adresses that type of matoran.

You are very lucky indeed. My brother got two full bags of Kraata from Toysrus, each container was a cent each, so they told him to buy the whole shelf. This was about seven months after they were released. B-)

Wow! I have gotten Bionicle and Lego parts for extremely low prices at garage sales, but never anything that just cost a nickel. Once I did get the Toy Story Trash Compactor set (minus a few parts) for $1 though, which normally costs $50. :)

LUCKY! The best misc. bionicle haul I got was from a friend a few years ago. It contained a few masks, (mostly from the inika series) and some misc. parts (also from the inika series) and 2 light up swords (also from the you-know-what series [but one of the swords didn't light up]

Well, in the past I've gotten a lot of good LEGO/Bionicle deals.

#1: ~30 Bionicle sets for $20.

#2: 4 x 1 gallon bags STUFFED with Bionicle pieces, each for $2 (I think)

#3: 32 lbs. of LEGO (with quite a bit of Bionicle pieces mixed in) for $34.

#4: Furno Bike for .75 c.

It was then that everything fit together in my head. The two clawed beast. The Two Claws. The dual-claw marks. That all was easy. Then I realized something harder to grasp -  because the beast was inter-phasal, it could also travel through time, to an extent. The Two Claws wasn’t fiction, it was true. There was someone else like me, in the past. I continued blinking rapidly and turned back to the beast.

“What do you want?” I demanded.

The beast stood up a bit straighter and looked directly at me. A terrifying voice came from it as it answered.

“You and the girl. Both. You are abnormalities and must be dealt with.”

Since people are talking about their lucky hauls, does anyone know where I may get lucky with a golden Hau? As in an actual gold one.

I have a Kopaka Mata set that I got for about $5. It's a good thing I already owned the same set, though. The sword of this one was all chewed up.

Considering the sets went for $8 at one point and it was complete in canister, that's a decent deal.

Well, I was going to get this huge box of Bionicle I found in my friend's basement for my birthday, and we had it all worked out and everything, and my birthday comes, I find a huge box from him, and it's full of Fanta. Turns out he sold it all on eBay the week before. :(

For actual deals, I've gotten some pretty good bunches of sets for good prices here on BZP, not that I can remember any though. :P

In my country bionicle goes for pretty cheap so i get good hauls all the time. Sets go from 5 to 10 dollars. I've seen(and unfortunately missed) a Hydraxon for 10$:'(

That's a fantastic haul. I'd love to get my hands on a Hydraxon. Unfortunately, they seem to be quite expensive online. :/
