Did Tahu keep wearing the Golden Armor after Mata Nui left? And if so can he still use it's power?

Yes and yes, it also gave him the abilities of all the Kraata he destroyed. However he is no longer a Toa Nuva, and his link with his Nuva symbol is severed.

Tahu's destiny was to wear the Golden Armor and defeat the Rahkshi Invasion of Bara Magna. With that power he was left in charge to lead the planet if they are ever in trouble again, plus he still has adaptive armor on him, the Ignika didn't take that away from our rereleased Toa Mata.

Yes, he kept wearing it, but he can't use its main power (destroying solid Antidermis) anymore since it was a one-use feature, according to BS01: http://biosector01.c...r#Functionality

Someone should post a pic of the original Tahu set with the Golden Armor, then we'll have a sense of how Tahu was supposed to look like w/o his adaptive armor attached

Technically the 2001 set isn't the "correct" form either; you have to remember that those forms were supposedly smaller than they should have been because their bodies broke down in the canisters or something (which also means that if the MoL was really making Tahu into "his original form", then the 2010 set should've been larger, but I digress).

The only piece of Adaptive armor BS01 mentions him keeping when he donned the Golden Armor is the adaptive toa tool.
