The battle was still to be fought, but yet everyone knew who'd win.
Toa and Hunters in front of eachother, one against a million.
Even if the tired Toa could summone the top of their powers, they still wouldn't win.
The Shadowed One, the powerfull and feared leader of the Hunters, followed by the most massive army ever seen arrived.
"So Toa, after all your losses, all the battles we won, you still won't surrender, you still won't run?"
On the other side of the battlefield stood heroic Toa Lhikan together with a handfull remaining heroes.
"We, we will not surrender, we will not flee, for we are the last, the last who stand between you and the poor Matoran. We are the last line between the Innocent and the beast. But we can fall, we will fall, but the Matoran will be safe. For others will arrive and strike."
Lhikan took his Fire Greatsword from his back and raised it.
"We, will show you, that even the most powerfull enemy can be wounded by the sheer power of unity."
He shouted. And even the fearless Shadowed One had to set one step backwards for the sheer anger in the Toa's voice.
"Nidhiki, my friend" He spoke "come forward"
Nidhiki Toa of Air, together with Lhikan the last remaining Toa Mangai walked out of the group.
"My dear friend, take this and leave, tell the world our story, tell the world our sacrifice." Lhikan spoke, handing his friend six glowing stones.
Nidhiki flew away into the unknown and Lhikan would never see him again.
Suddenly all Toa attacked, and stormed towards the Hunters.
Many Hunters were killed in their supprise, but eventually all Toa fell before the Hunters numbers, and only heroic Toa Lhikan remained, facing the very person who caused this war.
"Your army has fallen Lhikan, and you are going to meet the same fa"
He didn't complete his sentence for the Toa of Fire had trew a fireball at him, hurling him backwards.
Lhikan was shot down and died but the right arm of the Shadowed One would serve as a reminder of his deeds.
