Misery and failure, pain and madness all went trough pour Sarda's body after the Kanohi Olisi casted it's power.
The Great Spirit, the very being who all the Matoran honored, the very being on which everything and everyone sustained had died.
An earthquake marked the beginning, the beginning of the end.
The Universe went cold, and all the lightstones slowely faded out darkness conquiered the light, and all of what went before was gone.
Mata-Nui was history.
He was closed in, closed in by darkness, a growing darkness, a killing darkness.
Screams of the innocent filled the domes together with the scent of blood, no-one could ever stop this madness.
Toa, they were gone, dissapeared into the nothingness or consumed by darkness. They, would not rebel, not this time.
No being around, no-one to be seen, the crowded universe was empty.
He was alone, all alone, everyone he had trusted, everyone he had believed in , had deserted him.
The darkness was nearing, screams, scent and all other came together towards one spot.
One mere word could discribe the terribleness of the Matorans situation:
The Matoran was trapped, trapped in the dark, trapped all alone, trapped forever.
And yet he couldn't surrender, how hard he tried to stop experiencing the dazzling pains, he could not give in.
For something small, something minor, somthing which even eliv had overlooked prevented the Darkness from entering:
But Sarda could not run, he could not flee from the endless Darkness, he was doomed to be trapped forever.
In front of him was the never-resting void, begind him was a wall, made out of metal as cold as death.
Never could he escape, never could he surrender.
Air seemed to run short, his lungs were empty and the feeling of suffocation grew worse.
A spark of light, a spark of hope, entering trough the roof shined trough the void.
Marking the arrival of good.
Marking the end of the shadows.
He opened his eyes again.
