Okay so I posted the thread in the wrong spot, and all morning I was working on it on my phone, Picsel Smart Office 2 app(still trying to figure it out), but I turned off my phone, thinking it would save it, but I relaized that it was on my google docs, and it could only save if connected to the internet, my wifi only works at my house. So I had to start from scratch, I had three episodes of the serious below already made in school today, now the two episodes may have to be reworked. I made sure that this timeline has one major change in events, as if it was an actually Alternate Dimension from Greg. I did use Bionicle Sector to give me some info as to where I can put my story into without contradicting canon, I just wanted to add some fiction around it, to give more delevelpment into the first story, and possible future stories.

The Reign of Hypnosis

Chapter 1

 

    “Are you sure this plan can work?” Asked the Makuta of Metru Nui.
    “Yes, we had extensive research done.” Takadox raised his head from the table. “My brothers must not be allowed to take total control, Teridax that is where you come in, I’ll need you to gather an army and in 3 sunsets you will begin the Battle for Mata Nui.”
    “And what will you do?”
    “I must fight alongside the Barraki in order to prove my worth, Pridak must be onto me, and my disappearances.”
    “Then why am I here?” Mutran asked while bored out of his mind.
    Teridax responded, “You like to know things, you like to experiment...”
    Takadox took over, “We, more importantly need you for this to work. You seek knowledge, we want Tren Krom’s knowledge. That way the entire Brotherhood can be worshipped as Great Spirits, and bask in Mata Nui’s glory.”
    “What should I tell Miserix.” Icarax asked from across the chamber.
    Teridax looked at the two of them, “I’ll handle this.” he said quietly. He would grab his younger brother by the back of the neck, and began to walk down the hallway while Takadox and Mutran continued their plans on how to get Tren Krom to cooperate with them. “Ever hear of the Kanohi Kraahkan?” The puzzled Icarax had no clue about the mask. “The mask of shadows was forged from the strongest solid substance, protosteel, by the greatest creator in the entire universe, Artakha. Once I have it, I can overthrow Miserix, or better yet kill him, and obtain total control of the universe.”
    “You do know I’ll have to report you to our older brother.” Teridax turned around, there stood Krika. “You wouldn’t think you can just get away with betraying him, just because you can bully Icarax, doesn’t mean you can do the same to me.”
    Teridax through Icarax into Krika, then proceeded to beat them both, “I’ll rule this Universe, after I slay Takadox in 3 sunsets. Just because he wants amnesty, doesn’t mean anything. That is if he still has the Tablet of Transit with him.”
    Krika to Teridax, “Which of us three should inform him of the battle.”
    “I have a suggestion.” Icarax said. “The three of us do it right now, our armies will be bigger if we involve him into the war.”
    “You can tell the dragon, Krika is coming with me to Artakha instead of you.”
    “What’s in Artakha?”

Chapter 2

 

    The two Makuta barged into a dark room, “So you mean to tell me, you need a mask, that once you corner you’re enemies, you can scare them, via my shadows.”
    Teridax had disgust in his voice, “So I take it, you won’t give me that mask.”
    “Makuta, I understand that you have a job to do. So how about I lend you the mask, for your battle.” Artakha looked up from his new invention, a weird head piece, possibly from for an assistant android.
    “What battle.” Chuckled Teridax.
    “The one, where you free us all of Barraki control...Don’t worry...your little friend Icarax made it here before both of you...and on Miserix’s orders.”
    “Then you should know all about our time constraints. We have a plan, to corner them, and more importantly kill them. Teridax has the capability to defeat them with a minimal amount of losses. Please listen to me, more than him, you can probably already tell, I’m jumpy, WITH EXCITEMENT!” Shouted Krika
    “Teridax, I think he is too jumpy, let’s go for a walk.”
    Icarax entered the room. It was as if both of them couldn’t figure out what they should do. They just stared each other down. Krika twitched a little too much, this played in Icarax mind, what he could do, to betray the brother he shared many secrets with. However the big problem was that both knew each other so well, that they can fight each other to a draw. But they just walked around the room, picking up limbs of a robot, “Matoran.” both said together.
    Back into the hallway, Artakha is leading the Teridax into a trap, at the end of the hallway is a light, standing outside the exit, Botar, ready to take the Makuta into custody, they know about the war that would soon follow, and wanted to know how they could give assistance. “Artakha, lend me that mask, and I’ll show how effective a leader I can be.”
    Artakha laughing, “Your Hau can’t protect you? Or do you need a mask, that is still in it’s prototype stage. After all it causes masks to become infected, that is why I won’t give you it. Infections can cause madness, madness can turn someone pure evil, you won’t like be corroded armor, would you? For a few days you can wear it, but not non-stop, that will make you like these empty shells that I built.”
    “What were those shells about anyways. Simple. Innocent matoran, you plan on turning them evil, filling them with shadow. What’s wrong...”
    “With me? That is an army, I will duplicate for you. Droids built, to be as wise as a Turaga, as multi purposeful as a Matoran, and as small as a Bohrok Va. Any mask can be placed on their heads, I’ve had placed an order from Ta-Metru, a thousand Kanoka disc made masks and weapons forged by Vakama. He’s, he is, he’s like a clone of me. Maybe one day my successor.”
    “Vakama, I’ll remember to thank him for his assistance if I ever meet him. Now since you’re over hyping your part of the army, let’s turn back, because I know you’re leading me into a trap.” Botar grabbed the Makuta from behind, “Follow me if you want an army.” Artakha soon followed them both, “Botar knows my secrets, and we are far underneath my island, so that weakness you want to know about, it so happens, that it’s about how they operate. They need a power source, and only you Antidermis being extracted and synthesized could be enough to power these droids. That prototype so happens to be in my office that you meet me in. To be fair, they all take orders, but none of them prioritize, so they can switch sides mid battle, they easily break, hard to repair, and they can use any Kanohi to the Noble extent, that is their greatest resource. Now take the Kanohi Kraahkan, and hid that thing after you kill each and every one of those warlords. Or do me a big favor, destroy it.”
    Botar left the room to go check on the two Makuta, but as he entered the enter room had been destroyed. “Now you two are in big trouble.”

I'm not really sure the personalities of the Artakha, Botar, Icarax, and Krika so I just imagined how they would be, not much I can tell about their personalities from Bionicle Sector, so I had to fabricate almost entire situation about how Teridax obtaining the Kanohi Kraahkan.

Chapter 3

 

    As the battle raged on, the Barraki had control over the battlefield. Teridax was hiding along with Krika and a few rahi behind some boulders.
    “Where is our backup, Teridax?”
    “They are hidden, waiting for when Takadox gives the signal, then all at once they will leap out and attack our captures and liberate everyone. The signal will be when Pridak begins his assault, I made sure to tip of Pridak, making him believe that his suspicions are not truthful. So he will fight his brother, our newest brother, Takadox.”
    “What about the rest?” Krika responded.
    “Don’t worry about them, Miserix knows his the final stages to my plan. He will join us when we begin to take back the island. You, rahi, I want you to prepare to attack Kalmah’s army from behind.”
    Icarax had been flying circles since he arrived at the battle, the armies below wouldn’t stop chasing him until they got tired or nauseous of going in circles. When he finally made his descent he made sure it was a half mile away from the two Makuta. He was shot down over the air while making the descent, and he landed in an area of the battlefield that Mantax had control of.
    “Run Makuta or die.”
    Icarax got to his feet, “Well I guess this info couldn't help my brothers, but it’s important to know, our backup plan had not been properly repaired, these Matoran come from Karzahni, reprogrammed to take orders from any Makuta. I’ll be willing to offer you my services if you take out Takadox for me.”
    “Why Takadox? Is Pridak right about him being a traitor?”
    “Takadox plans on taking over Mata Nui himself. We spied on him. But the traitor isn’t a Barraki, it’s a close friend, though.”
    “You may go free, but if I see you again, I’ll kill you personally.”
    “Thank you.” Icarax ran as fast as he could, running in curves to throw off the Barraki about Teridax’s location. This gave the Makuta the upper hand, for when he reached them he placed a scroll in front of them. A message from Metru Nui, a declaration of war against the Barraki, and a Ta-Metru Matoran was to lead this unexpected charge.
    “Rahi, I want you to scatter, and head towards the beach, we need as many Matoran to survive the arrival. These reinforcements can help us once and for all. Krika I want you to go directly onto the beach and recover the soldiers.”
    “What about me?”
    “I need you to wait for Miserix’s army to arrive.”
    “He’s not going to make it. He informed me that this Matoran is one of most loyal Matoran, I think his name is Jala.”
    “Well we’ll just have to wait until the time is...”
    Takadox had begun to withdraw his troops, knowing that Jaller’s army was coming, it was time to speed up the defeat of his former friends. Pridak sent his rahi to kill any strays, fearing they could be Takadox’s or Makuta’s as a diversion, so he went directly after Takadox.
    “How dare you try to stop our plans to rule Mata Nui.”
    “I didn’t steal your plan.”
    “I didn’t say steal.”
    Takadox jabs his swords into Pridak, “How dare you tell the Makuta of our plans.”
    “Mantax, help me.”
    Takadox turned around, and punched Takadox, once he pulled Pridak up he ripped the swords out and sliced his mask. The remaining Barraki had problems, Teridax went to recover the Kanohi Kraahkan, and sent Icarax to unleash the hidden droids, they were located in a collapsed cave. They burrowed their way out of where they were placed and began to assault the armies. The rahi, lead by Jaller began to help Teridax in turning the tide of the battle. As the Barraki attempted to retreat, it was nightfall.
    “Fear me. For I am nothing. But. The shadows.”
    Ehlek, “Makuta you can not defeat us.”
    “As long as I wear the mask of shadows, and it’s night time, I now rule all of Mata Nui. Lay down your weapons or die.”
    Kalmah, “We will never give in.”
    Botar had arrived, “It’s times all six of you are sentenced to the Pit.”
    Takadox got down on his knees begging for forgiveness “I was a spy for the man behind the shadows, I have the documentation to prove it. The Table of Transit is a relic given to me by Miserix if I did my job to bring Pridak to justice.” Teridax then began to talk, “He became infused with Antidermis yesterday to finalize his acceptance into the Brotherhood.”
    “My job is to send the Barraki to the Pit, and seeing that he is no longer a warlord, and is now a Rahi maker, I can report to Artakha the plan was successful. Now give me that mask, Artakha wants to finish working on it, before he starts his new project.”
    “As you wish.” Teridax arrived behind Botar, took off his mask and gave it to him, “Now give me Takadox in return for the mask.”

Chapter 4

 

    “Where is Mutran?”
    “Takadox sent him to Tren Krom Island to find something he buried prior to the battle.” Teridax responded.
    “Takadox was not taken to the Pit.” Miserix muttered.
    “I made a deal with Botar. He gets to keep the Kraahkan, and Takadox gets to become an official Makuta.”
    “I will not mutate him into being one of us. He can call himself brother, but he will never be a true Makuta. I do not permit him working with us, I fear he wants to use us into bringing back the Barraki, not the old, but a new. One that will be completely obedient to him, I want you to watch closely over him.”
    “I understand Miserix.” Teridax turned around and walked out the room, he continued down to his room. “He is onto us.”
    “Then I take it the plan is working.”
    “Mutran should have arrived at Tren Krom, Miserix suspects your betrayal, but not mine. We just need that Kraahkan, I have a different plan that I want to try.”
    “What is it my apprentice?” Takadox asked.
    “You plead with Artakha, ask him to give us back the Kraahkan, so we can study its infection, and learn how to create a solution for it.”
    “Why not you go back?”
    “That Tablet will protect you from being sent to the Pit by the big guy with the sharp teeth. We can try to infect a few Metru Matoran, and halt activity in the city, which will allow us to do our plan sooner rather than later.”
    “Why can’t I just use my hypnosis powers on a few?”
    “Sometimes I feel like the mastermind. I have a ship waiting to take a Makuta to Artakha’s Island, just do this for me, since I saved your life. I just wish I could see the villains that were sent to the Pit.”
    Takadox departed from the fortress heading towards the island to reclaim the mask. As he arrived, it was as though Artakha had already known, standing beside him was Botar, who was dismantling the droids. As the former Barraki got off the ship he followed the town of them back into the secret room, but Botar stopped, turned around and heading back to the shore. The Order picked him soon afterwards. On the wall, hung 6 Kanoka Disks humming together, “Do you like my newest toys?”
    “Why do they make such a screeching sound?”
    Artakha just laughed, “I know you want the mask of shadows, and I’ll be willing to hand it over if you do me a favor. I want you to bring me back the rest of my droids. I had shut them down after Teridax won for a reason. I can’t let a thousand droids be used by tyrants, or anyone consumed by greed, or infection. My second demand is to allow me to meet the smartest Makuta, Mutran I assume. I’d like to see how great minds like ours think. And I want you to deliver a message to Karzahni.”
    “I don’t have all the droids, Mutran does, so when I send him here you will have much to talk about. And what do you want me to say to Karzahni.”
    “I need you to rebuild these broken Matoran.”
    Takadox looked at the droids scattered on the floor, “Are you trying to anger your brother? Or are you messing with me?”
    Artakha’s hand reached out touching Takadox’s shoulder, “I haven’t spoken to my brother since he stopped sending Matoran back home. I’ll let you take the mask, I have no further use of it since I invented.”
    “Invented what?”
    “Leave now or Botar will take you to where your 5 friends are, with no chance of ever returning.”
    Two weeks later, Teridax and Takadox entered Metru Nui. Matoran were hailing the Makuta at first, but when they saw him talking to the warlord, they booed. Each district had different feelings towards the two Brotherhood members. Po-Metru and Onu-Metru had no preference. Le-Metru, Ko-Metru, Ga-Metru were against them. As for Ta-Metru, they celebrated the Teridax, and gave him a chance to speak about that day. He retold the devastating loss of lives, both Matoran, Rahi, and any outsiders that planned on betraying the Barraki. He then pointed at two matoran in the audience. “Jaller, Vakama. Both of you were vital to our efforts in defeating them, while Takadox’s betrayal helped me stage the whole battle. You are the true heros, and this mask I hold in my hands, shall allow me to watch over you two in secrecy.”
    At the same time the ceremony was going on in Ta-Metru, Mutran was discussing with Artakha.
    “You left one droid behind, why is it not here?”
    “We are testing the mask’s capabilities. I figured out how to reboot the single droid. So when I did, we began to figure out how to send messages to those in the shadows, we figured out how to watch people from the shadows without being there, and we solved the infection problem. In fact we have an antidote.”
    “Your antidote is temporary.”
    “How did you know?”
    Artakha began laughing, “I created the only true solution.”

Chapter 5

 

    “Captain. The Barraki has been seen in the foundry, he has been hypnotising our men. How do we prepare to deal with the villain?” Kapura asked.
    Jaller looked up to the sky, “Mata Nui will give us a sign if we have to worry.”
    “But he had asked the matoran on where to find Vakama.”
    “Find, and bring Vakama to me, he needs to be put on Ta-Metru custody.”
    “Yes Captain Jaller.”
    Meanwhile at Teridax’s chamber, he and Mutran had begun to discuss the knowledge that Tren Krom gave to Mutran about how their world works. Their discussion was overheard by Gorast, who immediately entered the the room when the two of them began to fight each other, thrashing the entire room. This is when Gorast realized that things were going to change forever.
    Back in Ta-Metru most of the the inhabitants began a search for Vakama. Nuhrii had a strong mind, and was able to escape the hypnosis, which allowed him to get to his friend before anyone else, and warning him to hid in the shade so no one can see him. Nuhrii had befriended Vakama early into their lives, and so many of the Matoran knew to ask him about Vakama.”
    Speaking to himself, “It’s only a matter of time before I die. But what would he want with me? Or am I really that important, I mean the droids used masked I designed, but they had some kind of mask powering them. Something isn’t right about this.”
    “Vakama, I can help you.”
    “Nuhrii don’t mess with me.”
    “I’m not him.”
    “Then who are you?”
    “The man that can help you go into hiding for eternity, so no one can find you except for me.”
    “I have a fire staff, and I’m not afraid to use it.” The staff began to glow, blinding the Makuta, leaving him to only scream in agony because the mask hadn’t adjusted to his stature.”
    “THERE YOU ARE!” Takadox grabbed the Matoran, “You’re going to help me build a new army, one that will serve my new family.”
    From across the Foundry, “PUT HIM DOWN!” All the Ta-Metru Guard lead by Jaller began to shoot Kanoka Disks at Takadox, but he dodged each and every one until Kapura and Nuhrii caught him from surprise.
    “Takadox. I sentence you to life in exile of the great city of Metru Nui. You will be shipped out via a ship controlled by Nuhrii, so you can not hypnotize anyone. Your exile will begin with the first cargo ships to leave first thing tomorrow morning. You will arrive on Destral, and will be punished by the man that granted you amnesty.”
    Takadox got on his knees, “Please I beg you not to take me to Teridax.”
    “I was talking about the leader of the Brotherhood.” Jaller had a smirk on his face while Takadox’s eyes became wide open, begging, “No, anyone but him. I rather be taken away by the tall guy with sharp teeth.”
    Later that day, in Po-Metru a Matoran named Ally, leader of the Po-Metru Guard was standing in a little valley, when he noticed in the shade a statue, of the Kanohi Kraahkan. “That’s odd, I have never seen this carving before.”
    “How much do you love Metru Nui?”
    “Who’s there.”
    “I am not your Great Spirit.”
    “Why do you say you’re not him.”
    “Because I want to tell you something true, but I will not reveal my identity. I have a task, one where you must stand up for all of Metru Nui, you’ll be greeted by all as heroic was Jaller.”
    “That pompous punk, he didn’t come up with the idea for helping the Makuta. I did. But no, he challenged me to a Kanoka battle in the Coliseum in order take control, then his first act was to remove me from participating in the battle. Many of my friends died, and its all his fault.”
    “I have a task for you. Jaller has demanded to exile the former Barraki, Takadox from the city.”
    “Good riddance to that scumbag.” Ally snarled.
    “But no. I want you to attack the cargo ships that will hide him. I need him to remain in the city because I am apart of a secret group that works for Mata Nui. Our purpose is to make sure the Matoran population hasn’t suffered any defects from being oppressed by Takadox and his friends. We know the Po-Matoran had it the hardest, building statues all over the universe that idolize them. It is time to do something for the greater good of the universe. Takadox may have the power to hypnotize, but that is only if you stare him in the eyes. I must go now, I must go, this mask is draining my power from just communicating with you.”
    “Wait!”
    From the canyon top two Matoran, Hafu and Taipu shout in response to their friend’s sudden outburst, “Captain Alley! Who are you talking to?”
    “Just myself! I have a question, how good are you at destroying things?”
    “As good as we are...” Hafu said.
    Taipu rudely interrupts, “As perfect as we are at carving statues like the one you’re standing next to.”
    The very next day, as Nuhrii had walked behind Takadox with a 143 Kanoka Disk. The disk was stronger than the other disks, had the power to remove poison from a target, and the ability to weaken them. Takadox continued walking towards the ship, knowing of his plan of escape, “See you all in about 10 minutes.” The ships began to set sail and just as they were two miles out, Jaller continued to watch the boats, and saw a hole blow open in one of the cargo ships, then the next one, but the one untouched was Takadox’s.
    Jaller blew the horn, he lead an expedition group to the untouched ships, while Takadox’s continued forward, only to be engulfed by the Sea of Protodermis. Jaller shot his disk at Ally who stood in the front of it,  “Ally, how dare your men attack our transport.”
    “I’m sorry Jaller, but I was under orders from Mata Nui himself, don’t let him escape.”
    “Well he is now drowning in the sea, what now, we were going to send him to Destral, to be punished by the Makuta.”
    Once all the Po-Matoran heard the Kanoka Disk attack, both sides began to shoot at each other. The fighting between both guards would last for a few hours, there were no casualties, but everyone suffered major damage.
    Back on Destral, Miserix is furious, “Teridax you almost caused a war. Now tell me why you want Takadox on Metru Nui harassing Matoran.”
    Teridax shrugged his shoulders, turned around, removed the mask, “Is my Hau infected?”
    “I will not answer such useless questions.”
    “Artakha told me the mask caused infections, I guess I wore it for too long, and so did Takadox. I am sorry, but I think I need time alone. I will go to Metru Nui, and apologize for my actions. And I will leave the mask there, to prevent myself from ever causing another civil war. However, who is going to fix those Matoran, remember Karzahni closed his doors for good.”
    “We will have to let them suffer, and be taken up to the Red Star.” Miserix said in a depressed voice as he left.

This is just a filler that doesn't really add very much to the story.

 

Chapter 6

    Gorast enters a holding cell in Destral. “Teridax, you shouldn’t have asked to be put in here until the Matoran forget about the battle you caused over 10,000 years ago.”
    Teridax’s arms were shackled to the wall, and had his head down, “Did my package to the Onu-Metru Archives arrive?”
    “I can check to see.”

Icarax showed up with Antroz, the latter told Gorast to leave at once, so she did. Teridax raised his head, “So did he intercept it?”

Antroz stood guard, while Icarax responded, “The plan has been set in motion, the infections are spreading, Metru by Metru, and no one will ever know.”

“Now ask Miserix for the key, I want to check out the damage being caused. And dump all of our antidotes.”

Antroz turned his head, “Why?”

“Because Mutran told me about a mask, that combats the infection, one that will blind the shadows. An Avohkii, Mask of Light. However it has been warded, if I touch it, or any Makuta does they shall be punished. Artakha doesn’t want any of us to handle it. So I have a plan, that requires Toa, but that will be after we win the hearts of Metru Nui.”

Icarax, “Well when do we use it?”

    “As soon as you let me free since I have plans to betray the Barraki, for good.”
    After they freed Teridax, he and Miserix began to have a discussion that lasted hours long, it was every bit of detail that he and Takadox had with the exception of the overthrow plan. Then Miserix showed Teridax a map of Metru Nui, one it were red dots, areas destroyed in the war. Teridax looked at the ground, “I know what must be done. I must recover the Mask of Shadows. It is the only way. I request permission to use deadly rahi in the battle?”
    “Granted. Now hurry and stop this mess you inadvertently caused.”
    Meanwhile in Metru Nui, Takadox spent his time in a small Barraki outpost on the outskirts of the city. There he had discovered a way to communicate with the core processor, the Great Spirit himself Mata Nui. This base was guarded by Jaller and Ally to make sure Takadox wouldn’t cause another problem in the city. During the time Takadox spent with Mata Nui mentally connected, Takadox learned a secret that he was unaware of.
    “Takadox! I am here to fix the problems that you neglected to solve for 400 years!” Teridax’s voice echoed throughout the halls.
    “Teridax, your self imprisonment is over?”
    “Yes, and now it’s time for me to reclaim that mask!”
    “I don’t have it.”
    “Where is it!”
    “The Archives.”
    “Than I want you to gather the leaders of the war to the Great Archives. Tell them about the Mask of Shadows allowing the wearer to create fear and consume their enemies minds.” The Makuta enters the room, “And I’ll kill them all.”
    “Someone is in a bad mood.”
    Teridax grabbed him by the throat, “You see my Hau, it’s rusted, infected. That is why I was imprisoned, I had been attacked by a Vortixx named Roodaka, she was under command from a man named Sidorak, who controls a small Visorak army. Luckily I am immune to Hordika venom. So next time you talk about my mood, ask A TRUE MAKUTA!” He threw Takadox against the wall, and left the building. “Jaller, Ally, it’s time we end the fighting in Metru Nui once and for all. It’s time I undo my mistake of sending a package here.”
    Ally tugged on Teridax’s leg, “There’s a Toa that arrived a while ago, his name is, well forgot. But he is a Toa of Fire. Dang firespitters.”
    “Well I’m not that bad, am I?”
    “We’ve been guarding this base for almost 300 years because we refused to fight against each other.”
    “Makuta what are you going to do?”
    “KILL ALL WHO TRY TO STEAL MY MASK!”
    A few days later the Archives Massacre occurred, Teridax made sure to unleashed the Visorak to capture the leaders of each Metru. Toa Norik challenged Teridax to a fight in which he won sparing the lives of the survivors of the massacre. Botar then arrived to bring the survivors to the Pit, Norik challenged him only to be knocked out by Teridax. And as he reached down to the ground to pick up the mask, Takadox arrived with Mutran, “All Makuta will be assigned to a region of the world, and you’ve been given Metru Nui. Sorry for the bad chapter above, I really don't know why I didn't do research on any of the disorganised topics, and huge gap of time that makes no sense at all.

Chapter 7

 

    Stuck on the south western shore of the island of Artakha is Makuta Kojol with his army of Visorak, Exo Toa, and Rahkshi. He was asked by Miserix to recover the Avokhii in order to heal his Lieutenant, Teridax who has become ill after thousands of years of neglecting treatment from the Kraahkan. However Kojol mistook the command, and brought an army to the island that he was assigned to protect.
    “Exo Toa, I need you to circle around to the northeast of the island. Visorak, I want you to burrow underground and attack from midland. And Rahkshi follow me!” Kojol rushed forward with over a thousand Rahkshi. “Retrieve the mask of light at any cost!” The Rahkshi dispersed into divisions of six, leaving four behind their Makuta master.
    From the mountaintop is Artakha, “They bring an army to retrieve an object, I was willing to temporarily hand over. Quite genius don’t you think Brutaka?”
    “During my time in the Brotherhood I realized one thing, I am the only one that can actually successfully defeat you. Should I lead your droids into battle?”
    “No let them do it themselves, however you should distract Kojol so I can sideswipe him.”
    Back to the ground Kojol tells the Rahkshi Turahk, “Tell the rest of my brothers Makuta Brutaka is here, helping Artakha protect the mask so we can not heal Teridax.” Turahrak nodded and left.
    Brutaka overlooking Kojol, “Where do you think you’re going Makuta?”
    “Brother, how nice is it to see you.”
    “I didn’t come here to chit chat.”
    “But I just wanted to visit my old friend, after being gone for a few months.”
    “How dare you attack the island you are assigned to protect? Miserix gave you a job and you try to kill everyone here?”
    “I came for a mask, but I see that he had a wall to keep me out, so I brought some of my sons.”
    Brutaka raised his sword about to destroy his old brother, when Artakha attacked him with a magma sword melting the Makuta’s mask. While he screamed in agony, the 3 Rahkshi hopped onto Brutaka, trying to steal his Olmak. Artakha then used the sword to melt the Kraata encasing shells.
    Brutaka looked at the building seeing Visorak webs pulling down the walls, and Exo Toa shooting at him. “You retrieve the mask, I’ll take out the Toa shells.”
    Both men were defeated, and all the droids had been obliterated. The Visorak webs disintegrated as they were informed on the journey the island not to use their Hordika venom on the Matoran. While the Exo Toa carried the incapacitated Makuta, and the Kanohi Avokhii.
    Artakha too weak to stand slowly crawls to Brutaka, “We, need, to, hide, this, island.” Brutaka used his Olmak to transport them both to the Order headquarters on Daxia.
    At the gates of Mangaia, Turahk, 6 Exo Toa, Kojol arrive with the mask. “Teridax, I have your cure.”Coughing, “Please don’t be mad at how I took the mask.”
    “Turahk told me Brutaka was there. He has no reason to interfere. He left us long ago. But what you failed to realize is that Brutaka can not be defeated so easily. He is more like us now, then when he was apart of my Brotherhood. The mask must be hidden for good, nobody shall touch it.”
    “But where?”
    “A matoran should hide it. I have listed all Matoran that can be responsible with such a mask. Jaller, and Ally. The leaders of their Metru’s Guards.”
    From around the corner Norik and Iruini overhear the remainder of the discussion between them about the attack on Artakha. The rest of the Toa Hagah would soon create the elaborate plot to steal the mask to blackmail Teridax into revealing his evil plot to the mask’s maker, Artakha.

At the Coliseum Toa Lhikan and Dume talk about secrets of Mata Nui. “Lhikan I have a task for you to perform. It is very important that you find Tren Krom and ask him about the Golden Power.”

“What is that Turaga?”

“Your armor will be infused with a form of energy neither Protodermis nor Antidermis, but a substance that the Great Beings have yet to understand. A prophecy claims a Toa of Fire will wear this infinite power source to defeat the evil’s that try to harm our Great Spirit.”

“Where do I look?”

“You must find the man who built the first Toa Team. The Team is hidden in the heart of all of us. And their creator has invented a plan for one of them. You are not destined to bear it, but I want you to don the armor to protect it from future invasions on the island.”

“What island?”

“Kopeke the Chronicler knows much information, both true, and urban legend. He has researched almost everything he can from the Wall of History of all Metrus, and the Great Archives. He can give away old maps of our universe, maps that can surprise you about our world.”

Chapter 8 Part 1

    Thank you Artakha for this new armor.
    Anything to help a Toa. You remind me of my Toa Team, the Toa of Fire. Take these swords, and combine them together to make a shield to protect you from what your Hau cant. And one more thing, find the Vakama, he holds the key to the future of our world.
    Turaga Dume arrives in Mangaia after being summoned by Teridax. Makuta, why have you summoned me here? We have no reason to be in contact with each other.
    I summoned you for one reason, look into the light behind you.
    Turaga Dume turned around, instantly paralyzed by Takadoxs red eyes. You will work for us. We need you to do enforce Metru wide shut downs, and encasing of Matoran into the pods beyond the Makutas wall of shadows behind you. But do not rush it, we want you to spend months attempting to get the Vahki to do it. The first two that should be placed in the pods are Jaller of Ta-Metru and Ally of Po-Metru.
    Teridax interrupts, And bring me the Vahi, MASK OF TIME?
    As you command, Makutas. The Turaga left Mangaia, followed by a group of Vahki. Take me to Ta-Metru. I must find Vakama, he has to be the only one able to build me my mask. The Vahki nodded as they steered the boat towards the Ta-Metru.
    Back inside Mangaia Takadox and Teridax begin to talk. When will we get rid of Miserix?
    We wont. I found the Mask of Possibilities. We need to obtain the Mask of Dimensional Gates, and Mask of Time. Together all three masks will show me what I need.
    What is the infection rambling on about now?
    How about you shut up. I want to see how I did in other universes, and how well I can do in any reality. But more importantly it will allow me to see into the future.
    Maybe I should fetch the Avohkii again. Takadox left the room, once he entered the room where the Avokhii was hidden he was ambushed by the Toa Hagah. Screaming in agony, Help! Help! The Exo Toa began to head towards the room until Norik locked the door.
 

Part 2

    During the entire assault on Takadox, Teridaxs voice occured, How do you like my Toa of Shadows. I drove them insane with the infection, and used Mutrans Shadow Leeches on them, and had Hordika venom injected in them they can never recover from their sanity. Not even that mask can save them, only Keetongu can. So if you want to live, You must bring me that Olmak. Dume will bring me the Vahi. That way I can make sure you havent hypnotized me into being your pet. Turahk you know what to do.
    Turahk grabbed Takadoxs head, unleashing the power of fear onto him, then the Rahkshi took the mask to Teridaxs wall of shadow. The Makuta unleashed a hand from his chest bringing the mask into the wall of shadows, and blasting a light into the air above scattering into stars revealing the Prophecy of Toa Metru.
    A few months later Turaga Dume began walking with 2 large Vahki, Kranua you failed to find Jaller. I blocked all pathways out of the city, he can drown himself since most Ta-Matoran cant swim. Now you better look long and hard for him, otherwise if you cant find him then youre going to be deconstructed by Nuparu. And the same goes for you Kraahu, if you dont find Ally youre doomed to the same fate.
    Both together, Yes Turaga Dume. And parted ways. Six more Vahki would soon meet up with the Turaga of Metru Nui. They entered into an Vakamas home, I understand today is your day off Vakama, but did you complete the mask?
    Vakama took a mask he had been working on for weeks, The finest Kanoka disks were used in making it. However this is a mock up, its grey, which means useless.
    Useless unless it has a little color in it.
    There is none at all. Every other mask I made broke. I need a better supply of disks. Maybe the Vahki can look for the Great Disks?
    For you Vakama, anything I can do to help you save the city.
    Save the city?
    I fear Takadox has brainwashed the Makuta beyond the Sea of Protodermis, they may be planning an attack. And do be careful Vakama, Dark Hunters have been spotted in the eastern rim of this Metru capturing Matorans. If you ever encounter Lhikan, please inform me. The Turaga moves in closer to Vakama whispering, Beware Nivawk.
    Later in the day as Vakama was working on a new Vahi mask, Toa Lhikan arrives, Mask Maker Vakama, I need your help to deliver this stone to the Great Temple. Its important to this citys fate, I need to find the Great Disks. Only the stones can find them, and Dark Hunters are after me, so it would be safer with you.
    The Turaga told me if we ever had an encounter to send you to him.
    I fear he is being watched closely by the Makutas pet Nivawk. Lhikan turned his head, Take my shield and hide. Ill be right behind you. Vakama listened to the Toa and hid in a dark corner, witnessing Krekka and Nidhiki attack him. But Vakama charged out with the shield throwing it to Lhikan who defeated the Dark Hunter duo.
    The 2 meet the other 5 Matoran at the Temple, as they changed to Toa he changed into Turaga teaching them how to master their Kanohi. Nokama used her mask to translate the location of the Great Disks from the temple walls. Together each one was easily capable of completing the task. Lhikan carried all the disks until he was captured by Nivawk, in order to save the city he merged them all into a single disk and dropped it into the Coliseum. The Toa entered picking up the disk, Vakama announced, Here is the Disk of Time! Now Turaga if you give me a moment Ill make it the Mask of Time!
    Proceed Toa Vakama! In a few minutes the mask was made, then Nivawk began to strike them, Prove your worth Toa! Vakama engaged Nivawk with the Vahi slowing both of them down, while Nuju throw the statue of Lhikan at Nivawk, breaking the Vahis control. Onewa began to force the the Dark Hunters behind Dume to attack each other, while Matau disguised the Turaga and rest of the Toa so they can escape the Coliseum with the Matoran.
    You see those Kikanalo running wild we need to charge Mangaia now or else. Nokama said once they exit the Po-Metru gate.
    The shortcut requires finding a statue of the Mask of Shadows.
    Vakama responds, Dume your the Turaga so well listen to you first, except Kikanalo will help us to reach the statue faster. Matau take to the skies, Whenua youll take the front so you can guide us once nightfall occurs. As for you Matoran, you need to find weapons to defend yourselves when we reach Mangaia.
    A Ta-Matoran wearing a blue Pakari pulls on Vakamas leg, Jaller and Ally are hidden somewhere here in Po-Metru. I visited them, they have been stockpiling weapons to stop the Vahki from attacking them.
    I sent the 2 strongest Vahki after those two, and will be onto me, so they will be onto the Mator... Nivawk swoops down capturing Dume and screeching to damage the hearing of them all.
    While Nokama began to distract the Kikanalo using her mask to ask them for help, Vakama began to talk with the Ta-Matoran as they all headed to the Kikanalo while invisible, I want you to record these events, Kopeke has gone missing so you shall me the new Chronicler of Metru Nui. And you will lead me and a few other Matoran to those two.
    Can we come? Two Matoran sounding close behind them asked together.
    Who are you?
    Hafu. One said, while the other responded, Taipu.
    Vakama and the Ta-Matoran both responded together, Oh great the Twins.
    Were not twins. Both said. One is Po. and the other followed, One is Onu. Together, We love to work together that is why were the best diggers and carvers in Metru Nui.
    As they rode the Kikanalo, only the rahi were visible while everyone else was engulfed by Vakamas invisibility. The Vahi allowed Vakamas ability to be prolonged while both teams were split up.
    Nokamas party ended up in front of the Mask of Shadows statue, only to be ambushed by Kraahu who was easily defeated by the 5 Toa Metru, Nuhrii, Ahkmou, Vhisola, Tehutti, Orkahm, and Ehrye. The combined might of all 11 allowed them to break the legs of the Vahki, leaving its head as the only form of defense until they ripped him apart.
    Vakamas party of Matoran lead by the Ta-Matoran found the weapons stash and the two Matoran weakened from lack of energy absorption. There you all are? Kranua entered the room, and destroyed the ceiling trapping them all. Their energy has made me stronger than my recently deceased brother. As for you Toa, youre headed for the worse. What? Where did all of you go? You cant escape this room.
    Over here! Shouted Taipu and Hafu on his head banging on his Kranuas head. But as he tried to use his pincers to grab them both, Vakama used Kanoka Disks to melt them. Come get me Vahki! Vakama screamed from behind while his invisibility wore off of everyone. Charge!
