If I wanted to post a photo on the forum, am I allowed to upload to imgur?

If that is "yes," then does this forum use BBCode?

I'm not too sure about image hosting sites. I know that imgur uses comments, which violates the advertising policy, but I used Deviantart for some of my stuff and I didn't get anything from the staff about it. Lots of people use flikr for MOCs, that has comments, but again, no warnings. So I think yes, but I'm not too sure.

Yes you can use imgur if you deeplink the image, and yes BZP uses BBCode.

Yep, basically this. Deviantart and imgur cannot be used unless you deep-link them; flickr is allowed either way (the exception to the rule), as long as the content is appropriate.
