erm...yeah. title says it all. I want to post a link to one of my favorite web comics, but all I found while searching was if we were allowed to mention them. the answer was we were allowed to talk about it, but what I want to know is if we can link to them. the webcomic I have in mind is PG, though maybe a tad scary. it does have a commenting system, however (those who read paranatural will know what i'm talking about).

You mean a picture of one of the webcomics? Or a real link to the webcomics themselves?

Woth the first you must check if it isn't copyrighted, the second, well the site needs staff approval to be linked to I assume.

You're indeed free to use an image from a website in your signature, even if the site has a commenting system. Just don't link to the page itself and you should be good. (Of course, be sure the image fits the sig guidelines...)

 

Otherwise, no, linking to the site/comics would be a violation of the advertising policy.
