So... Teridax possessed Mata-Nui's body. Mata-Nui's body was killed, so Teridax goes back to a floating cloud again, right?

So he's technically still out there?

No, Greg confirmed Teridax is dead for good.

 

He died for three big reasons. First, his mind was downloaded into the robot's computers at the time, which were smashed. Second, one of the ways to kill antidermis is by burning, and impacts generate heat; an impact of that magnitude would likely vaporize his antidermis. And third, antidermis also dies when it dissipates; the impact would also forcibly spread out his particles over a wide enough around to be dead.
