Just out of curiosity, does the double post rule apply in the tracker like it does in the forums? I can see reasons why it would an wouldn't apply, but I just want to be sure. Also is there a tracker policy or FAQ? I don't see one in the reference desk.

Double-posting is discouraged in the Tracker although there are situations where you may see the staff doing it if we need feedback from members on an issue. For example, if we've updated the forum software or programmed in a fix and want you guys to check if you're still having the issue.
