[Enax the epic]

The title says it all. How did you acquire your rarest collectable? If you don't have anything rare, your favorite collectable counts, too.

Dunno which actually is the rarest, I've got 4 Tan Kanokas and traded one for a golden Vahi, infected Hau and a Poisoned Hau.

Most likely the Vahi or the Tanoka

I was asking myself the Same thing

My memory recalls a box full of pieces, mostly brown ones in Legoland Billund somewhere around 2005 but I'm not sure either.

I just looked it up. They were given out at legoland, probably in 2004.

You know, I just realized that I didn't say how I got my rarest collectable, my misprint red Ruru. I got it from my friend, who didn't know what it was, in a large lot. I didn't know it was a misprint for about four months before I found out!

Those Tarix masks and many more were gifted to the staff by Lego years ago, you can get it if you send mocs to Conventions and if you win contests

i think the rarest i got is My Tan kanoka from a huge bin of stuff. A sparkly avoki the golden mask of shadows and i think my rarest is the matoren copper mask of valer unless i'm mistaken.

Mask of Valer never heard of. There are only two copper masks, Huna and Komau

Where did the bright gold avohki misprint come from? Takanuva was out of print, and there were no more reasons to make an avohki in that gold color.

A GITD-blended Rahkshi foot from the prototype pile.  Its prototypicality is really the only thing that makes it a collectible though.

Copper Huna, my collection doesn't contain much rare stuff.  I could buy something rarer for not too much, and I bought that for very little anyway.

Four prototypes - Gold/Gunmetal Strakk helmet, Gunmetal/silver Gresh Blade, Metallic Green Zamor, and Bright Green/Thok White upper hordika arm pieces, though I guess the helmet and zamor are the only two considered to be collectibles.

I don't... oh wait, I think my rarest collectibles would be one of three items:

 

- TNGM (Translucent Green Miru), I received, I believe, two... so many years ago, from a trader in the B/S/T forum. I forget exactly who it was, but they had a lot of them from what I recall. (I can't even recall what I sent back). 

 

- Orange Vahi, I received this from Janus at BFair because Janus is just awesome. (I've only seen gold ones, never orange ones... so, I'm presuming it's not the most common thing). 

 

- A prototype Miru, white with a blue streak on the mask, which I received from Black Six's Prototype grab bag dealio he (in conjunction with LEGO) set up at BFair a few times. I still would like to use it for a MoC (along with the Vahi, and the TNGM) if only because I received all of these items from other people and they aren't all over the place. 

 

All stuff I still have in a safe place, although I haven't touched them in a long while.

The Brutaka-gold Kraahkan, an Infected Hau, and a transparent neon-green Miru, all quite by accident. I stumbled upon them separately at a BST LEGO in my town. Each one was incorporated into their own respective MOCs, which I haven't posted on here yet.

If I have any other rare collectibles, I've either forgotten about them or I haven't recognized them as such yet.

 

EDIT: Yeah, I just remembered my Copper Huna. I traded a friend one of my Gold Vahis for it.

I don'[t think I really have any collectables. I wish I had though, then maybe I'd have a bigger kanohi collection. The closts thing to a collectable I can consider is my orange Vahi which came in a second-hand bionicle bits tub, and my seven Shadow Kraata.

Edit: Oh, wait, I also have a chrome hau I got from a matoran set waaay back. Don't think it's worth much though - the forehead is dented.

Actually, I left it under a light too long and the forehead melted into a dent shape. it's not too noticeable. Now I think about it, most of the masks I own that get damaged are Haus.

-Movie Kraahkan: I found it in my neighbor's Bionicle bin a few years and was astonished. He had no idea how rare it was and gave it to me.

 

-Orange Vahi: One of my favorite stories. I was visiting my grandparents up north and we went to the mall there. As my father and I got out of the car, I spotted something amazing. The Bionicle 2003 tour van was parked at the Max and Erma's! I pretty much flipped out and dashed over there as the driver got out. He ended up giving me a t-shirt, two posters, and two Orange Vahis, one of which I gave to my friend from long ago. I still can't believe how lucky I was

Actually, I think Vezon's Ignika is pretty rare in beige-silver. Strike Iruini, replace with Vezon.
