  1. Didn't Mata Nui's Kanohi activate when the stinger touched it and turned into a sword, or when Click gained the ability to turn into a shield? I don't know it that only works with the Ignika, but I think it is worth a mention.
  2. I don't know if these have been thought of before. Mask of Satisfaction: The user can make a target feel as if all their wants and desires are fulfilled. It can be used to pacify a Rahi's bloodlust, an opponents hatred, an allies hunger, or for their own gratification. The Great version has a lingering effect and can influence anyone, but the Noble version requires concentration and for the target to not resist it's power. Toa have debated it's morality, since it can be used to help an ally get through tough times, but it also can be abused and cause one to forsake their Virtues. Mask of Remote Activation: The user can activate the powers of any Kanoka or Kanohi by touching the target or it's bearer. The Noble requires direct contact. Toa consider certain uses of it immoral, based on its limited control of others.
  3. My guess it that Ekimu and normal Makuta will be $15 sized sets; somewhere bigger than the standard Protector, but still keeping a Protector-ish build. Evil Makuta though, will probably be closer to the $20 size, if that is the largest set size.
  4. Thank you all for your opinions. The Kanoka Blade article helps allot. Most of you seem to be saying that the flight properties of the example Kanoka would either be both the Le and Ta, or just the Le properties, because it is the stronger disk. You also are saying that the disk would be either a level 7 or 8. According to you, the breaking apart of a Kanoka without the proper technique would render it powerless, but I would like to suggest that if it was properly forged into smaller pieces, they would still host some power (according to the disks power level). I don't think we will ever have a firm understanding of unconventionally shaped Kanoka flight characteristics, but I guess that doesn't truly need to be confirmed. Thanks again for your help, and if you have any more insight, please let me know.
  5. I was wondering, since Kanoka Discs can be forged into Kanohi Masks, could they be forged into other shapes as well? For example, maybe a chestplate made from a Kanoka of Shielding could be made, so a shield is put up to prevent further blows? Would the Kanoka disk have to remain whole in the process, or could small chunks or parts be broken off and shaped separately? Maybe a Matoran prefers a slingshot over throwing a disk; could he separate a Kanoka into smaller pieces and shape them to fit the sling? (I'm sure some of this would depend on the power level of the original Kanoka, in the same way that a Kanohi's strength is dependent.) If a 156 (Ta, Enlarges) and a 578 (Le, Regenerates) where merged in Ga-Metru, by a Po-Matoran, to create a Kanoka of Shielding, what properties would it have? Would the disk have the flight properties of a Ta, Le, Ga, or Po disk, or would it be a mix, and a mix of which? What would its power level be? Would it be the lowest value (6), the highest (8), or the average of the powers (7)? If a Kanoka was shaped into a projectile besides a disk (slingshot ammo, a sphere to throw, etc), would it still retain its original flight properties? Would this possibly be determined by if the Kanoka product was in contact with its owner while launching, or if it was launched by a sling or catapult? (Keep in mind, traditional disks kept their flight properties when launched by a Disk Launcher.) These questions are for keeping a fan-fic/project in line with canon, and I already have my own personal opinions, but I would like to see what the general consensus is. Thanks for reading and for your answers in advance!
  6. He did have control over the temperatures inside of him, so he could have super-heated them in their prisons after he was done harvesting their kraata. Another possibility could be that might have forced them to use every ounce of their being to make the kraata. Is it possible for a Makuta to die from over-producing kraata?
  7. You could always change the Lego logo into a red square that says "LOGO". Would making the case and CD art available to print off of the internet make it less of a grey area? Will the models for the 3D printed items be available for free with the game? There may be some people that have 3D printers at their disposal to print their own pieces, eliminating the need to pay Shapeways and the cost of shipping.
  8. A Bionicle RPG with buildable characters would be amazing. It would be a great way to advertise the rumored 2015 line. If Hero Factory is still around by then, a RPG for that would be cool as well. I would pay good for those!
  9. Hey there, remember me from BMP?

  10. It's the Muaka's pajamas.He's like a Kane-Ra in a carver's shop!
  11. I don't remember exactly where I left off.. Feel free to give me a start!
  12. Name: The Prestigious Captain Ranaki Pakewa of the John Claude and Official Mercenary of The Order of Mata Nui a.k.a. RanakiSpecies: ToaishGender: MaleAppearance: Standing at 1.8 Bios (8.1 feet), Ranaki is taller than the average Toa. He is mostly black, but with some red (torso) and turquoise (mask and feet). His mask is shaped like a Kanohi Miru. He has a build similar to that of the Toa Mata, but has been known for applying "upgrades".Alignment: Mobman-like Good.Affiliation: Official Mercenary of The Order of Mata NuiPersonality: Ranaki has a split personality. He is usually calculated and sometimes overanalyzes, but has been known to go on pure instinct in hard situations. This can lead to a loss of control and a fiery temper.Skills: Having once been a skilled forger and engineer, Ranaki can build, craft, scavenge, and repair many things to find a use for them. He can forge many kinds of ammunition, masks, and tools from Kanoka Disks. He also is a skilled marksman.Weaknesses: Since Ranaki has multiple personalities, these will often clash. He can be found in incidents of indecision, and thus vulnerable. He also can be manipulated in his moments of irrational thinking caused by overanalyzing.Powers and Abilities: Being a fusion of Air and Fire, Ranaki can use these powers independently, or combine them to cause explosions. He has the toughness of a fire toa and the agility of an air toa. He can only use his powers for explosions, respiration, heat, and the lesser powers of his elements. He does not have full control over his elements like nova blasts or absorbing all air of heat in the room.Equipment: Ranaki has many tools and weapons, but here is a list of his most prominent and useful items.Helmet: This helmet was made using highly advanced tech that works like Boba Fett's. His helmet has a Noble Mahiki shaped as a Miru to trick opponents.Jetpack: Ranaki uses this as a channel for his elemental powers to give him a boost into the air.Air Katana: Swift, sharp swords that Ranaki can heat up for a more damaging strike. He can also use them as gliders to make his jetpack more efficient for travel.Triple-Shot Rifle: Ranaki himself has personally designed this unique firearm. It has the ability to shoot semi or full auto, and uses weakening disk fragments forged into ammo. Ranaki can forge Ta and Le disks, and thus ammo that shoots stronger or farther respectively, but also can use other types.Disk Fragments: Weaker than a full disk, these fragments are able to be merged to create new powers. Ranaki does have to smuggle the resorces, but he does know how to forge. He won't be using disks but in tight situations, and can only use the fragments once per piece, and he only carries one piece per power.Bio: Ranaki started life as a Ta-Matoran disk-maker and mask carver in the Ta-Metru forge, and as a Le-Metru engineer. Both where considered geniuses, and at the top of their trade. They were selected for testing of a new process of fusing two matoran holding toastones by the Spear of Fusion to create a multiple element toa. The experiment was charted as a failure, due to the single mind conflicting with the separate minds of the fused specimens. Having been given no new purpose, the new being wandered the universe in search of one. He became a bounty hunter and commissioned warrior, but only for a noble or right cause. This gained him a good rep with others and the name Ranaki Pakewa (loosely “The Wandering Avenger”), but still no life goal. After Teridax’s rise to power, The Order of Mata Nui hired him as a mercenary. This was the start of a new mission and purpose for Ranaki.Think of a non-overpowered Slave I. (Boba Fett's Slave I is just a bit to overpowered for this).Ship Name: The John ClaudeShip Make: This Firespray spacecraft is of alien design for police work, but has been modified for Ranaki's needs.Ship Class: CorvetteAppearance: The John Claude is 21.5 meters long (70 ft.), 21.3 meters wide, and 7.8 meters tall (25 ft.). It it in rough shape due to its old age. The dark red and dark mint green colors have slightly faded and become dull.Systems: The John Claude has anti-laser shield generators, F-31 drive engines, power generators, navagational system, and sensor array. It is also equipped with a sensor jammer and decoy system, but they are outdated and can become obsolite against many of the newest or larger Brotherhood ships. The weapon systems include twin blaster cannons and a projectile launcher standardly loaded with three homing missiles. The John Claude can hold enough supplies to sustain Ranaki for a month when fully stocked, but it is hard to obtain that full amount or supplies during a war. The tech was once military exclusive, but is quite common for any new ships or some large standard ships. It is better than average for it's age.Crew: Ranaki has piloted the John Claude as the sole crewmember, but will accept honorary crew members and might promote outstanding allies to official crew members if inquired. (Just ask me for permission and we will see. )Bio: The John Claude has been Ranaki's first and only spacecraft, and has served him well. The systems were once top notch, but has been outdone by the Brotherhood's high-class and newest ships. Ranaki managed to "borrow" the ship from an alien mercenary of the Brotherhood when it docked inside of Teridax for restocking. This is how Ranaki made it to the outside.“Spock > Khan”
