(I swear I've used that title before on this blog.) I'm all for one to see what the larger cliches are like in social groups, in and out of the internet. And what seems to happen a lot of the time, on BZPower, is that to be cool you've gotta do a couple of things. 1. You have to like at least ONE anime, and it has to be an anime that everybody doesn't know about 2. You have to post a lot in the blogs section of BZP. 3. You have to comment in the blogs a lot. (if any, it has to involve BZPstuck) 4. You have to post a lot in the General Discussion section. (I probably should've put GD section instead but I'm not cool so I can't use acronyms) 4.5. You use acronyms for EVERYTHIIIIING 5. You have to be involved in the BZPRPG some how, if not then you are DEEEEFINITELY not cool. 6. In your blogs you are able to write essays and STILL have people read ALL of it. (even when they're about your 55th road trip adventure) 7. You never changed your avatar for more than 10 years 8. Maybe we'll finally start seeing requests for different weapons now. Seriously, you guys need to watch more of this guy's stuff 'cuz it's amazing. Start with Sokka's meteor sword I'd say. TN

I think it was a bit of a slow start, but I'll keep watching. My one request is to name one of the rock monsters Tekulo and to pretend that he is yelling at the Rock Raiders to get off his lawn. (I know you can't actually name the monsters, but you can use imaginaaaaaation! 8D)

In all honesty. I always thought one was to be cool on BZP if you DIDN'T make a comic.

One of these days, Makaru, you will slip and all of BZP shall know your true identity... (or maybe you just did am I'm not paying attention) Anyway, I'm hit or miss with this list. Mostly miss, but I'm fine with being insignificant. Man, though, back in the day you weren't cool here unless you had a popular comic series or comedy. It didn't hurt to make a Tuggle either.

Oh man, how did I miss this?! I love how you guys are totally dissing Minecraft in the first video. XD

The series started as a light novel, which is basically just a fancy term for a serialized novel with a few pieces of art here and there. There are translations of some of them online, and an official English release just started. I haven't read them, so I can't compare. It looks like there are some manga adaptations as well, but again, I haven't read them so I can't compare.

I'd also like to recommend the Kingdom Key and Honedge. They're pretty neat.

I feel the same way. A big part of it for me was that it didn't seem to have a message as direct as the first one did; it's just talking about time and suddenly gory creepy things are happening and it doesn't really seem to know what it's trying to say. Plus, the creepy sort of comes all at once instead of building up to anything and then it's over so quickly.

For some reason I wanted to find my PS2 controller. My line of thinking dictated that it should be somewhere around my desk, because my PS2 was on my desk. Makes sense, right? So after probably half an hour of tearing the area around my desk apart searching for that controller it hit me. It was sitting by the stack of games for my PS2. Of course.

*sobs endlessly over Clannad and then rages about the terrible last episode* Well, you may be interested in Accel World also--same author as SAO, so it has some of the same issues, but I find that it's less disjointed than Aincrad, and I find the concept a lot more interesting. MMO software that lets a person alter their perception of time in the real world and then play as a fighting robot with powers determined by their mental trauma hooked me before I had a chance to resist.

I think this is just another problem that arises when people go into something expecting something else. You can't go into a Michael Bay film thinking that he's the next Stanley Kubrick.

Because every time I see you I am reminded that I will never be the person who built Fanglyfuss.
