  1. OOC: Unreliable Narrator was too tired to make a Dume post, so I stepped up to the challenge and wrote us one with his blessing IC, Dume: Coliseum There was nothing. Dume slowly came to. He blinked twice. What happened? Where was he? Last thing he remembered was that he was about to give Atamai the power of a Toa, and then the world exploded. The old man blinked again and became simply aware of something slick on his hands. He looked to the side and saw blood on his palms. For a brief moment the Turaga was scared that he was severely injured. But as he took a deep breath he felt no injuries, no pain. Then why the blood? As the Turaga became more aware of his surroundings he realized that there was a heavy weight on top of him. He looked down and saw a body laying on top of him. A Matoran. Okuo. He had jumped in front of the Turaga at the last second and saved him from peril. “Help him...” Dume croaked.

  2. Made a list of all the action going on in the Colosseum, since there's a lot happening. I personally love how convoluted we made Turaga Dume's office. I hope this helps people organize their characters and figure out what to do next. There's a bit of confusion regarding the immediate assassination attempt taking place against Turaga Dume right now, so once that gets resolved and the timeline gets set then I'm sure many players will fats track themselves out into their next missions. -=Dume’s Office=- Sans in the doorways Waveahk and two Vahki behind him Stannis by the door Knichou, chilling and texting Kanohi Jutori, Just became a Toa Jabali, Self-Conscious and noticing the action unfold Atami, held up from becoming a Toa Vashni attacking Sidra Zataka attacking Sidra Okuo pinning Dume Dume being pinned Sidra, getting attacked behind the desk (one nektan by the window) Taja, zoning out Aradra, checking on Taja Leklo, still kind of hallucinating Korruhn, By Leklo, using gravity on the Rhotuka -=Colosseum General=- Raz, talking to Kanohi Kanohi, resting several floors down, talking to Raz Kovac, in the hospital Idlyx, taunting Kovac in the hospital Kohara, Talking to imprisoned Turaga Lhikan -=Cortex=- Mata-Nui Monster, trying to sit in the gameing chair Ostrox, about to fight Mata-Nui Mazor, debating whether or not to give the Krom Sphere to Mata-Nui Irna, Defensive against Mata-Nui Again, sorry if I missed someone, got the last action wrong, or misspelled someone's name :0

  3. I mean, each sprite's pieces are grouped together, it's just that, a lot of the time, those pieces aren't in any sort of order. It's more like 100 tiny jigsaws one after the other than it's like 100 tiny jigsaws whose pieces are all mixed into one large pile, if that makes sense. Two updates this time! The first one has more unused sprites, and the second one is setup for things to come...

  4. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex Mata-Nui used His control over iron to gather several nearby Bohrok into the hole in the wall before crushing and contorting them into lifeless sheets of metal, creating a makeshift barricade over the hole the three warriors and their Matoran guide entered from. He winced and cringed from pain as He did so.

  5. IC: Raz - Coliseum "Whoa, slow down there, sport. You'll run yourself into the dirt if you keep pushing yourself. Sometimes you've gotta know when to stay back and catch your breath. You won't do anyone any good if you're dead." Raz sat down, still perpendicular to the Coliseum exterior, sighing wistfully. "It's the simple fact of life that sometimes you can't be everything the world needs you to be. So sit back, relax a little, and focus on what you can be."

Congratulations on page 48, @Toru Nui! Toru asked if what Nuju was saying was the truth... Congratulations on Page 49 to @Tarn. Tarn asked to know something about Turaga Dume regarding SKE2.

  7. Hey y'all! I recently realized that I've poked and prodded at Lego BIONICLE (GBA) (aka Quest for the Toa, aka Tales of the Tohunga) a lot, and as such I probably know a thing or two about it that most Bionicle fans don't. Nothing earth-shaking or with deep canonical implications, but things I find interesting nonetheless. Many of these "minor discoveries" don't really merit their own forum thread, so I've created a blog where I'll start posting about them. I hope that it'll be interesting whether you've played the game or not, in the same way Supper Mario Broth is interesting. Give it a look and let me know what you think! Post 0: Introduction and FAQ

  8. IC Stannis & Leklo | Coliseum The Prophet bowed his head and began to pray*, not too quietly to be unheard but not loud enough to be understood with the cacophony of chaos within the august chamber. Meanwhile, the newly-created toa had saved Dume's life, somehow, it seemed, but likewise wondered, to what end? He wiped the confusion from his eyes and looked at what he had done, at the turaga lying on the floor with blood on him and another matoran severely injured. Slowly, his daze lifted and he noted what was happening in the room. Yes, his Kanohi Pea changed the likelihood of events, yet in adjusting that he had created an imbalance that compensated itself by injuring Okuo instead. Among the confusion, a curious matoran apparition seemed to sit beside Dume on the floor, his purple Pakari dripping down his chest like melted cheese. He looked familiar to Leklo. Who was it...? And then, above the noise, Stannis' authoritative voice boomed. "Amen." He snapped his fingers and a shock of energy exploded from his hand and encompassed everyone in the room, effectively shielding the members of the office from outside interference for the duration of the spell, then looked towards the reposed turaga. "Now, Dume, tell us of your plan, why you need the discs." "Please." OOC: * "Mata Nui, grant me the power to protect these allies, give me the ability to create a forcefield that will surround my presence by a radius of exactly ten bio that will deflect any attempts at attacks originated from without that area, and only allow beings to exit. May this be done without injury to any until it reaches full extension." For imagination's sake, imagine the biotic forcefield from Mass Effect 2.

  9. IC: Turaga Dume | Coliseum, Office “Yes, down in the public floors there’s a medical bay. Get him there... Or...” Dume clenched his jaw and considered the situation. It sounded like whoever burst out the shadows was talking with Zataka. Knowing the diplomatic reputation of the warlord from the South, Dume considered the threat neutralized inside the office. What worried the leader of Metru-Nui, however, was the fact his balcony was proving a liability. What allowed him unprecedented views of the metropolis city seemed to also offer unprecedented opportunities for someone to try to murder him. The vahki in the room didn’t seem to make a difference, and he wasn’t about to expect the freshly minted toa -- Korruhn, Leklo, Jutori, Taja, and Aradra -- to be of sound enough mind and confidence to respond in a timely manner to outside threats. Speaking of new toa... Dume looked at Okuo in his hands. The wounds across his back were fierce. Without immediate aid his spirit might vanish. A thought occurred to him. He'd seen it happen before: a wounded matoran healed by the power of a toa transformation. Would it still work with the limited power he had left? Dume decided he had to at least try. Grabbing a canister from the ground, letting the blood flow from his leg, he held Okuo close, closed his eyes, and began to pray... And then he shouted and the golden light from a ruby stone placed on Okuo's back began to glow. In a moment, the light blossomed, flowed across the wounded matoran, and changed him... When the metamorphosis ended, Dume leaned back, panting. He could see a black ring on his vision, but there was perhaps just enough light in the necklace left for another transformation... If he could only stay conscious. “Vahki, observe the perimeter, look for more Dark Hunters outside the office on the balcony,” Dume ordered. He kept pressing his hands against the wound in his leg. As frustrating as it was to keep waiting, he knew his plan required the Great Disks all together. So why had he given the fused disk to Atamai? Because Dume deep down was afraid. He was afraid of dying, and he had a strange feeling he’d cheated it for the last time… Two Dark Hunters in one day had been his limit it seemed. Pushing himself up against a chair, he stared at Atamai and the disk in his hands. “Grab one of the stones, Atamai,” Dume said at last. “My time is running out. Come here.” IC: Leonn's phone | Po-Metru "Last Name Day I Gave You My Heart The Very Next Day You Gave It Away..." Leonn's iStone was ringing with the custom ringtone his boss had set up on their last beach trip.

  11. IC: Mazor-The Cortex Mazor could feel anger boiling up again, he just wanted a moment to think. And Ostrix had the nerve to intervene. He pulled his kanoka launcher again, mostly focusing on Ostrix. He glanced over at Irna, a look of concern on his face.

  12. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex Mata-Nui just growled as he reversed the magnetic pull, instead pushing Ostrox hopefully down the hallway he came from. For good measure, Mata-Nui launched his own sickness Rhotuka back at his foe.

  13. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex Before Mazor could reply, some newcomer gave his own answer. All the Avatar saw was some projectile whirling with energy aimed directly at His chest. It impacted squarely, and the cackling of energy echoed throughout the fleshy interior. "Ha ha ha.. ha ha.. ha aha.. ha haa..." Mata-Nui's head rose slowly as he looked his attacker in their eyes. "I have three eyes, one for each Virtue. Your attempt to obfuscate my senses only represents the actions of all beings who try so had to tarnish the Three Virtues I have left for you all." The room seemed to spin, and up and down were becoming left and right, yet Mata-Nui wavered not. He extended his hand again, this time motioning as if to choke the air. "I will teach you. I am Many, whose strength grows in Unity. You are alone, and weak without Unity. My Duty is to end all beings' heretical lives so that all may share in My true vision and glory. You' have no Duty, and thus your life is worthless with purpose. My Destiny is to rise, and grow more powerful than all else that ever was or will be. Your Destiny is to be the first to fall, and you seem ready to accept your place under my heel." The space between the Untethered monster and Ostrox vibrated with the forces of magnetism, and Mata-Nui used His powers to draw Ostrox's neck between His mighty fingers. OOC: @Toru Nui for the record, He is trying to Force Pull you, I'm not syaing this automatically happened. It's happening right now.

  15. IC: Tarutu - Black Spike Mountains The Lucky Find coughed its way back into the air as Tarutu gave its engine a vigorous rev. Tekmo and company were already underway, and her rickety old thing fell into formation at the back of the pack. The other two guys along on this mission - the Ko-Matoran and the Skrall - seemed not to have anything to add; but then again, the Ga-woman reminded herself, they weren't exactly along voluntarily the way she and Paju were. They probably both just wanted to keep their heads down and get this over with. And she, herself? She was still hoping this would turn out to be profitable somehow. That started to sound more likely as the sound of another explosion shook the mountains. Whoever had blown open those pipes, it seemed, was still around - and continuing to be destructive - and Tekmo and Paju both seemed eager to meet them. Without comment - not that anyone would have heard it over her rattling old engine anyway - Tarutu swung around to follow suite. New Atero Skrall, digging in the mountains? There was something you didn't see every day. She listened to the exchange. As the Skrall expressed concern about their trustworthiness, Tarutu opened her mouth to speak up - being from New Atero herself, she expected at least a few of the would recognise her from her shop if she made her presence known - but was beaten to the punch by Tekmo and his badge. Shrugging to herself, the businesswoman settled back into her seat to wait some more, letting the conversation play... and keeping her attention on their surroundings, just in case there was anything lurking out here that everyone else had missed. Mostly, she just felt like she was being watched, and didn't much care for that feeling. IC: Alarei - New Atero, Soup Kitchen "Oh, wow. Must be really clever, to do that. I wouldn't know where to start." She ran a hand around the collar of her tunic, more of a thoughtful motion than anything else, and her gaze never quite seemed to leave Rakin. The fact of the matter was, she was pretty close to just sort of metaphorically attaching herself to him... the Skrall Sister quite honestly longed for a friend out here, and she could certainly do a lot worse than someone who had actually shown her an unexpected kindness. And if he was male, then... well, so what? Her vendetta wasn't against the gender as a whole, only the Skrall men who were absolute trash for abandoning their women so long ago. She had, granted, never had a male friend for obvious reasons, since the Sisters isolated themselves so completely from anyone else; but Alarei honestly couldn't imagine it being any much different from having any other friend. In any case, she was starting to feel comfortable around Rakin; and as such, her innate childish curiosity was perking up. "Did you always have huge technology around, like that airship? How did you learn how to work with it all, is it difficult?" ((ooc: Littiuu and Kastir are waiting on other people still, so just these two for now ^^))

  16. IC: Idlyx Haeve - Kovac's Hospital Room (Coliseum Interior) He snorted. Then chuckled a little. Then started to laugh out loud. "No powers? Is that it?" He said, wiping a tear from one of his four eyes. "My, my. Can't get it up anymore, eh? That's too bad." He faked a frown. "So that's why you're like this. Funny. Really funny." Idlyx sighed. "Someone you knew then, huh? Tell me more." IC: Rose and Triage - Po-Metru She shrugged. "Fine then. Why don't you lead the way, our new prisoner of war?" IC: The Swordsman - Ta-Metru I pulled my sword away, more acid blood splattering onto the ground. "You aren't like anything I've seen before, heretic. Tell me..." I started to circle the beast, prepared to strike again at any moment, "...what are you?" @Snelly@Dane

  17. IC: Mata-Nui, Cortex "Your lives as you currently live them have strayed from My chosen path. I seek to end your delusional existences, and bring all My children back towards My path." Mata-Nui brought his hand back after Mazor recoiled his. "If you will not obey willingly, then I'll take the artifact by force. This is your last chance, will you defy your Great Spirit's will? Are you so arrogant as to think you stand a chance at impeding My will? Grant me the artifact, and I will end these petty wars and conflicts that have consumed My universe. Deny me, and you will be the first to die." OOC: @Smudge8 @Conway @Toru Nui

  18. Just to put it out there: Dume's office at the moment has the record for second highest gathering of player characters in one location at 16. And that's just one room. (The highest was 17 PCs in the Po-Metru Sculpture Fields during the disk hunt.)

  20. I have another proposal: Matoran Crossing! You read that right, Matoran Crossing. To celebrate Animal Crossing releasing today, I thought it could be fun to offer a very simple RPG: You play a matoran in a small idyllic island with other matoran. There is no war, there is no evil makooti bionic man out to get ya. You're a matoran with a tent. Rahi are fun! Caves to explore! Fishing! Friendship drama! Play your way with Matoran Crossing. <3

  21. IC: Sans, Dume's Office Sans led Waveahk and his Vahki escort from the elevator towards Dume's office. "You know, if you've got a slug in your arm, you might wanna disclose that to someone who knows how to help that out. Like, some street thug shot you? Or an actual slug?" Sans shrugged. "I don't know man, I just don't know, huhuhuhu." Sans approached the door to Dume's office, turned the knob, then entered, his party behind him. "Hello, new friends and old! Did you miss me? Huhuhuhuhu-hackhehackheckhuhuuck!" Sans choked on his words when he saw the scene before him: some new Toa, new Matoran, and a bloody body lying prone on top of Turaga Dume, all staring in awe at some emerald warrior across the room. OOC: Waveahk and Sans made it back

  22. I would like to see Lego introduce a theme I'd like to call "Throwback", which would take concepts and styles from older themes and have them built with more recent parts and building techniques. A good example of how that would work is something like how Benny's Spaceship from the Lego Movie theme was clearly meant to resemble the Classic Space sets, but is obviously a much more sophisticated build thanks to the wider range of available parts in recent years. Just try to imagine some of your favorite sets from the 80s and 90s, and put a modern twist on them. This would allow today's kids to have a chance to have sets that are similar to what their parents might have gotten back when they were kids.

  23. IC: Leonn - Po-Metru "Quite the opposite, in fact." Completely healed, Leonn was oozing confidence again. "My employer ordered the same of me. Well, technically his other inferior, but he seems to be unavailable as of this moment." Amber eyes glimmered as he felt his boomerang in his shoulder holster. "Perhaps we could help each other? Form an alliance?"
