  1. Well, although I'll admit that this MoC does have some comical value to it, really I'm presenting it as a legit attempt at creating an admirable piece of artwork. Thanks anyway, though.
  2. Okay, okay. Even if this sounds to me like something already heard, this looks too simple, IMHO. It may also resemble the Death Star, but I'd say that Death Star has more details in it. I agree with your words, but I can't see any talent in this. I don't want to make anyone angry or offend anyone, but this is the extreme way of simplyfying. But the fact that it's "too simple" (i.e, more simple than even the simplest stuff), only goes to show that it's even more awesome for it's huge amount of simplicity, as accuracy and beauty are difficult to depict on such a small scale, meaning that the fact that this is so unusually simple just makes it better!
  3. Oh, don't you see? Haven't you ever heard anyone else that beauty can lie just as much in simplicity as it does in large-scale over-the-top MoCs. Of course, such large scaling in an MoC can allow for the display of great talent in portraying detail and hard work. But the little MoCs, if they're accurate- trust me, they take almost as long. Getting two pieces to work together to portray an accurate Death Star is almost just as impressive as, well, [removed]As Gata Nui once said "one doesn't need many pieces to build cool MoCs", and I would say this to anyone else with enough 100% sincerity, enough so that I can appreciate a Death Star composed of just two pieces. And yes, I have posted this before, but the one before used a stud for a laser, and thus was vastly inferior to this new updated version.

  8. I need to replace some pieces, and, due to the number of pieces I need to have replaced, it might sound strange if I call up LEGO and tell them I need like 19 pieces replaced as opposed to 15. So, I was wondering if it was necessary to replace these four socket joint pieces from Kiina. The reason I might need them replaced is because they are cracked in not just one of the archways, but both of them. Here's a picture I took of it:http://www.brickshel...nt/img_1006.jpgAnyway, the reason I made this topic is because I wanted to know if this had ever happened to anyone else or if anyone has heard of it. Anyone know?
  9. I don't feel right about posting this; after having spent a fair amount of tedious time designing it, I realised something really wrong with it, which I had suspected, but didn't realise to be true until I finally rechecked the picture upon which I had based my design: when comparing them, I realised that the wings were WAY too small. Nevertheless, I was certainly not up to designing a new set of even more tedious-to-design, larger, more technical wings, and I was to a large extent very pleased with the neck and head, so I decided I would just leave the thing as it is and post it. Anyway, here's the link:http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/316405

  11. I appreciate the citicism (that's what I asked forXD), but I think you would be more impressed if you viewed the newly improved photo I have replaced the old one of the MoC in general with. Something about the old one just didn't seem to give me that much of an impression...
  12. So I thought that since he's a cyclops and his weapon is a hammer I would name him hammerclops.XDAnyway, here's the link to Mocpages with all the pictures:http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/308327Comments and criticism are appreciated.
  13. Love making animal MoCs. It provides a challenge, and there's a huge amount of things you can build. I also love wolves. With that being said:http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=307468&id=/user_images/50082/1328220664m_DISPLAY.jpgHope you like it!

  17. Haven't posted hardly anything on Bzpower in a while. Anyway, this is possibly my best Moc yet. It's a viking. I spent a couple of hours building it.Main pic: http://www.brickshel...ng/img_0860.jpgBack: http://www.brickshel...ng/img_0865.jpgHead: http://www.brickshel...ng/img_0868.jpgGallery (When Public): http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=494780 C&C appreciated.
  18. Hey, it's me again. Um, just to clear things up, I'm not asking for help with my OCD- I'm already doing treatment and stuff. it's just that I wanted to know which of those things are logical and which are not to help me enjoy my hobby, not to help me fight my obsessions; thanks for the advice about that anyway, though. Also, I kind of already have as many answers as I want, so would someone please close this?
  19. Um, yeah, I have OCD, ad it's kind of screwing around with my life really badly. Anyway, it's kind of tied into my LEGO hobby in a few ways, and I was wondering what is OCD and what is not. If you wouldn't mind, I would like anyone reading this to please tell me what is OCD and what is not of the following (please keep in mind I am in some sense a collector):-Not wanting pieces from one set to get mixed up with another set's pieces (i.e, wanting every set to be built from pieces out of the box. As you must imagine, this really limits MoCing, forcing me to use just my older brother's collection, which he doesn't mind me using cause he never touches them anymore.-strongly wanting every set I buy to be first-hand material, despite opening the contents of the set anyway (this means going so far as to spend 130 dollars on a mint-condition-straight-from-the-factory-set which I could buy off of my brother in great condition for just 20-40 dollars).-Not wanting to shoot weapons of bionicles at other bionicles due to fear of denting.
  20. Um, yeah, haven't posted anything in a while.XDAnyway, I was just wondering, can soap (liquid, foaming, or bar), or water do any damage to Lego?I was wondering because I recently washed one of my Bionicles with foaming soap (cause it was smelled weird) and when I put it back together, I noticed that 1) the pieces were looser, and 2) when I pulled apart one of the joints to properly dry the knob, it seemed unusually stiff, and it stopped almost halfway apart (not good; almost snapped). So, anyway, grateful for any help.
  21. Penguintastic! You can always build multiple entries for a challenge. Thanks, that's great. Nice Bionicle banner in your signature, by the way. And the bubble wrap is also fun.
  22. Okay, Protosteel, I've posted my MoC. However, as I mentioned earlier in this entry, I actually built it before I read or found out about this week's contest, and I've done this once before, as well. So, if you don't mind, could I make another entry for this contest if I enter this one too? Anyway, me (LoL, look at that accidental misspell. I meant to say "my", not "me" ) entry is an MoC of a penguin, and I built it because for some reason I feel as if I've always had the idea of building a penguin, and also because as I said before, I really like building animal and Rahi MoCs.
  23. When was that made? A MOC of an animal is fine. Excellent, thanks!
  24. Yes, I love building animal MoCs, and I even finished building one a couple of days ago, however I haven't posted it yet. However, can it be an actual animal? If it can, I might enter the one I've already built, or I might build something new. I haven't entered one of your challenges in quite a while, so I'm looking forward to doing this one, even if I can't build an actual animal.
