    i did too
     
    anyway it's one week until brickfair virginia and hey guess what i'm gonna be there, just like i have been...every year since 2009. yeah. i'm not dead, not that i expect anyone cares much? i've kind of let my bionicle web brand stagnate through my signature combination of forgetfulness and lack of motivation. it's a shame really but what can you do
     
    anyway i'll be there and there will be shenanigans despite my reclusiveness over the last year

    in kit's blog entry on canonization i semi-jokingly proposed an all-out ban on modifications to the G1 canon effective january 1st, 2015
     
    but could we actually do that? could we at least attempt to? G2 has technically already begun, so there's really no need to make further retroactive canonizations, especially not after 2014 ends
     
    anyone else on board with this? anyone willing to make the suggestion to Greg? i'm sure he's as tired of this as many of the fans are

    after reading the topic i can't not think of treaded rahi as having natural-looking heads and front legs and stuff, and then mechanical bits just protruding from the back like something out of a horror film

    i understand perfectly well that galis voice situation is due to a narrator doing all the voices
     
    that much is really obvious
     
    and i dont appreciate people assuming that im an idiot who cant make that connection
     
    i saw that gali had a deep voice due to being voiced by the narrator
     
    and i thought "wouldnt it be cool if that were her real voice. wouldnt it be cool if she were a trans woman"
     
    because you know, i like seeing representation of people like me in the media that i read and watch and play with
     
    but its really, really rare and sometimes i have to make it for myself
     
    and this seemed like a perfect opportunity to do so
     
    but apparently i cant even have a harmless little headcanon
