  3. i hereby dub thee gud
  4. i doubt it. if it does happen, it likely won't be until several years into G2. although honestly, as neat as fan-created canon was at times, i'm kind of hoping that G2 steers clear of it. G1 got a little carried away.
  5. Yup, Gali has been shipped off and has probably arrived in Enfield by now. As for the kakama, that was sold a while ago. oh nice! congratulations; that's a rare accomplishment. (also i'm disappointed about the kakama but entirely unsurprised)
  6. fantastic work as usual; in fact, i think you've outdone yourself on some of these. the Gali figure and the steampunk masks are absolutely incredible. kinda makes the simplistic designs that i request look bland by comparison, heh. i heard from Grayson that Kevin Hinkle himself purchased the Gali figure and intended to put it on display at Lego's Enfield offices; did that end up going through? (also have you sold the purple G2 kakama because i Want it)
  7. generally you can compare rareness of collectibles by looking at the average prices on Bricklink. of those four, the movie edition Kraahkan is probably the rarest (there are no gold Ignikas on Bricklink at the moment, though, and that could mean any number of things).
  8. just put in the full 15 entries. crossing my fingers.

  10. Yeah, DEFINITELY Mata Nui. unless you're being sarcastic, i have to disagree. Toa Mata Nui may have been a store-exclusive set, but promotional packs pretty much instantly win over store exclusives. I wasn't being sarcastic. A ~$200 set with an exclusive mask -marketed as limited edition- vs a ~$3 pack that you got when you bought anything at all from the online shop. We'll see in a few years, though. Toa Mata Nui cost $50. the Hero Pack had a limited run. we'll see.

  12. no middle-ground option?
  13. the green and red Rurus are misprints, and are actually pretty rare - far more so than the Vahi and Rua. the 2001 misprint masks can go for pretty steep prices on Bricklink.

  16. I never properly thanked you for this pronunciation. both of you are now dead to me (it was neat meeting you jess you should try to come again next year)
  17. i have a number of prototypes which i don't remember all of at the moment, as well as a misprint brown Matatu and a clear NYCC Hau (although i doubt that that last one is in the same league as the rest). Would that really count though, what with it not being an official piece? i'd say custom stuff doesn't count at all.
  18. i am the moc guardian, guardian of the mocs (children quiver before me)

  19. g2 lewa confirmed for sonic the hedgehog
  20. i don't see an Exo-Force reboot happening. it was one of those things that Lego tried once, and while it was pretty successful, the concept was so far out of left field that it probably won't happen again, at least not in the exact same form. especially not now, because Ninjago is currently filling a somewhat similar role in Lego's lineup, and it's way more popular than Exo-Force ever was. Knights Kingdom is a definite possibility, i think, because Lego tends to cycle through various incarnations of their medieval lines, and KK seems like it's due for being the next one. the story and characters would definitely help it in Lego's post-Bionicle G1, story-centric lineups. Alpha Team? nah. every few years Lego puts out another secret agent line, each with no relation to the rest and all pretty derivative. IMO just because AT was the first doesn't really mean it deserves a reboot. Sumiki is right that Lego technically could reboot just about any theme and make it successful at this point (biggest toy company in the world etc etc), but i think right now Lego is more focused on creating new lines, and that's a good thing. currently, they have three majorly story-driven lines, each with an original concept, and it's not unlikely that the number of these themes could increase in coming years. i'd much prefer that over a reboot of, say, Exo-Force (a line that i adored in its heyday) with a shoddy story that would likely die out quickly.
