Not with that attitude you can't. Not on an urban campus I can't. At least, not for long.

    Golden Sun

Oh yeah, I own that game. I played it just enough to get into the overworld.

    Money

If you had told me a couple months ago that, as a poor college student, I would be spending eight bucks on yoyo lube, I wouldn't have believed you. Especially if you also told me that Twilight Princess HD, great new Bionicle sets, and the Majora's mask remake I still haven't played would be competing for that money. But you can't use videogames or Lego while walking to and from classes.
  6. Currently Playing: Zizelkatzeka "Zizel" Nindu'ain, Grey Elf Psion (Shaper). Eager to become a world-renowned sculptor, Zizel services his keen capitalist instinct with persuasive Psionic powers and +13 to Craft(Sculpture). Has a thistle plant named Gunther who he's convinced holds psionic secrets and a Psistone named Zeka who has the feat Light Armor Proficiency. 1st Ever Character: Fado Kooloo-Limpah, Gnomish Druid. Had a Camel named Molgera. At level two, died, then was resurrected through having his soul and body combined with that of a young red dragon. The party later killed him after the dragon took over his consciousness. Previous Character: Reic Trigmond, Human Wizard. Played two sessions with this guy. Other Previous Character: Eustace Trigmond, Human Ardent. Ardents are the Psionic equivalent of Clerics, but instead of being devoted to a god they're devoted to universal concepts. Having killed his father, Reic Trigmond, in a freak accident, Eustace was devoted to Murphy's law and constantly expounded on the futility of it all. As an Ardent ability, Eustace regained Power Points any time he critically failed at something.
  7. You're not playing all of these right now, are you?
  8. Beautiful use of different armor elements! I love the long, elegant arms and furry lets. Wonderful use of black skeleton bits as well. My favorite part is probably the flexible hosing on the torso.
  9. Amazing layered look without making him bulky!
  10. So I'm DMing a D&D 3.5 game with six players. Here's the deal: None of them are RPG gamers. Five out of six are girls. They are totally oblivious to all the fantasy tropes and D&D traditions they are constantly throwing out the window. They are totally oblivious to how incredible their total lack of metagaming is. One player is Kowski Bronwyn Arcana, the Whisper Gnome Halfling. Normally Whisper Gnome would be a very cheesy race--mechanically, they're one of the best 0 LA races in the game. She chose them because she liked a description of Whisper Gnomes she saw on Wikipedia. She didn't even realize there would be mechanical benefits until I told her. Kowski doesn't steal things. She's a rogue who developed her stealth skills so she could do good deeds without being thanked. Concrete is a half-elf ranger. She cares deeply for the Orc populations and is constantly trying to help the poor Orc farmers. Her favored enemy is Animals because those are what most often threaten said Orcs. Kowski once accidentally one-shotted an Orc in a dungeon. Concrete immediately brought the Orc's body back to his family and offered her condolences. Kowski went into town, purchased a casserole, and left it on the Orc family's windowsill during the night. Redwynn is a Dwarf barbarian. Illiteracy is usually a class feature of Barbarians. Here's an excerpt from her backstory, written by the player: Just... No metagaming at all, genuine and continued remorse for everyone they've harmed, and (usually) a great deal of respect for the city authorities. I find it hilarious and touching in turns.
  11. Oh, I quite like this. I was pretty disappointed in the Skull Grinder set, so it's great to see such a faithful revamp do so much to improve it. It took me a minute to understand those shoulders. That's an astonishingly elegant solution to a very gappy, difficult to use armor piece! It maintains the ragged look while filling in the huge hollow, making Kulta look menacing and powerful rather than puny in his own armor. The legs are a smart way of adapting that skeletal limb element to a larger build. I'm not sure why you chose bevel gears over cogs for the gear function? Looks to me like either would fit, and I generally find cogs to be much more reliable. Very nifty torso design, though. It looks smart structurally and, like the rest of the MOC, keeps the skeletal look through smart use of Technic without making Kulta look flimsy. And of course the weapons is neat. The fire girl looks elegant.
  12. What? No, the original trilogy. I can see why people love this so much, it's excellent worldbuilding. Fantastic props/sets/aesthetics. Oh, so that's what <insert Star Wars minifig> is based on. Seriously, everything is these films has been Lego-ized. TLG and AFOLs are thorough. Now I can wear those Darth Vader socks I got for Christmas.
  13. Majora's Mask 3D is just a remake, so... Undertale. And Temmie Village.
  14. I like the froggish companion, very unique. Nifty custom limbs. Most of the time people just fill in the CCBS gaps, but your limbs compliment the vanilla CCBS limbs well by adding a little variety without making them too solid or complex.
  15. It's simple, but I love it. Really excellent color blocking, design, and delightfully robot-y shapes.
  16. That head is just lovely. Excellent use of pakaris, new and old.
  17. I'll second the torso appreciation. The harpoon gun is pretty cool as well. I can't decide if I like the skull spider thighs or not. I think the're just a bit too big.
  18. The dreadlocks are great. I love what you did with the chest armor, and how the bohrok-eye, silver-spike motif is repeated in the Pahrak shields on his legs.
  19. It's happening Just so you know Super Metroid is happening now Kill the animals
  20. The extensive use of stickers and cloth seems like a cop-out, yet the results are too good to argue with. I love the eyes and head.
  21. Excellent! I can't speak to its accuracy, but the Visorak pincers and Pahrak shields were excellent choices. I'd be tempted to make totally custom legs, but these look excellent. Lovely arms as well.
