I can comment more on Steven Universe: While Steven never gets made fun of for being half-gem or being half-human, he is raised with a flawed understanding of both cultures. As such, he does kinda navigate that as he tries to learn about the gems and the humans around him. I'd say that socially it hasn't really come into play much yet, as most humans and most gems don't know that he is bi-species (as it were). It does touch on it some, though. (And it's a fantastic show so)

Oh boy, this makes me somewhat sad too. I remember posting stories in whatever the fan fiction topic was. (IIRC it was about a toa who like accidentally found that antidermis pool and became half Madura so he had to deal with DARK FEELINGS and it was very DARK). Pretty nuts! I'll be kinda sad to see clone501bob go away. But then the rational side of me thanks Lego for getting rid of the evidence.

GEEEZ. That's nuts. (Sorry I haven't gotten the other essay up yet. It needed a little more doctoring than the last one. Also not sure I'll be able to get the secrets one done this break. I had references before to various games and I cannot for the life of me find the document in which I catalogued all that research. I might make just a longish rant about it, but we'll see. I've found myself with like 15 different projects for these few weeks home, haha)

Thank you all! It was very wonderful, played a ton of board games and hung out with my family all day. Definitely the best way to spend this day, even if I am no longer the Birthday Champion. B)

I, on the other hand, thought that today was the 29th until this morning, haha.
