  1. Maybe I should give her a go, it's been a while since I've tried her. I know for a fact she can be a pain to heal as Ana.
  2. I can't play as her because she's DPS and SOMEBODY has to be the healer.
  3. Oh my god. I can't. I can't even put into words the amount of things wrong with all of it but this right here. This takes the cake.
  4. But if you don't believe it then why did you post it, it doesn't read like satire and there doesn't appear to be a joke I'm not getting, so why post it? This is a legitimate problem people have to deal with and by writing this entry it seems that you either don't understand the problem or are okay with it. If you where going for satire you failed. it is not their problem that they in interpenetrated it, I got the same message they did, and based on the upvote distribution, I'm not alone. You are in the minority. So why did so many people not find it humorous? Again:
  5. OK, one: I could not see that tag on my device. Two: saying something is humor does not give you a free pass to say whatever you want and then pull the "I didn't actually mean it" card and avoid all criticism. Three: this is not humorous or otherwise amusing. Four: numbers, while useful, have their limits and tend to lack things such as context. Philosophy for example, tends to have little to do with math.
  6. Uh. How do you not see anything wrong with this, why is rating people on a numerical scale not considered horrible? I mean, it doesn't even work that well for rating products like video games and movies, and you want to boil everything a person is, in their entirety, to a number? Why is that okay?
  7. More or less, I have a basic understanding of them.
  8. I haven't gotten far enough for any of that to be relevant....
  9. I get the basic principle of the game, it's basically a more advanced chess match. But anything beyond that is eluding me. I've been able to struggle most of my way through some if Awakening but I've hit a point where I got stuck and put it down, and am hoping to pick it up after I'm willing to remove Pokemon from my system. It might be worth noting that I don't generally play turn based strategy games. So, any tips?
  10. Ah, I didn't catch that it was shiny. Though I don't think I've seen him yet in moon, so that's probably why.
  11. I've been playing pokemon since yellow and I have no idea what's significant about this image... (My guess is the stats? never really cared for worrying about it since the games always made it unrealistically difficult.) Apperantly people have been sticking Zygardes in there, might give it a shot for a chance at some extra cells.
  12. Currently, the list at the bottom says there are ten times as many guests as active users, that seems awfully low. Granted, it's 9:30 at night where I'm at, so that might be part of it. I also haven't made many posts lately just do to being more interested in things that aren't Lego. I usually stay in the blogs just due to the community.
  13. Honestly I'm perfectly fine paying more to not go shopping on that day. Or any day really.
  14. I really don't know how to feel about this one. On one hand the story is really interesting and super depressing, both things I enjoy, on the other hand, the gameplay seemed to go out of its way to do nearly everything wrong. From a leveling system that makes no sense, to save points being in the exact wrong places and dungeons that lock you in with few recovery options and a bunch of generic RPG stuff that seemed tacked on with little benefit. But the story, world building, characters and music was all so fantastic it almost makes trudging through the gameplay worth it. Not to say there weren't redeeming qualities there, some of the dungeons had interesting ideas. The dream sequences where pretty cool. I actually liked the perspective changes, though some of the magic attacks controlled poorly in top down mode. Did I mention the music was fantastic? Also Kaine, definitely Kaine. But with Platinum working on the sequel I have high hopes. Hopefully it won't disappoint. Because that's really the main reason I tried this one.
  15. Automobile accident. Can't get a license either. That stinks... Hopefully you live in a city that's better for that than mine...
  16. I hadn't really thought of that. I suppose it's worth a shot. At some point.
  17. I've always been a fan of super depressing stories. I think a good portion of it is I'm often unsatisfied with how my life is going. But no matter how bad it gets, I didn't just watch the love of my life get stabbed with an abnormally large memory stick and then have society rip itself to shreds around me, so there's that. Though I like other types of stories too, those seem to stick with me more, it might be worth noting that a significant portion of them are video games.
  18. No, I can learn to drive, but I am legally unable to get a license due to the fact that I had a stroke during my last heart surgery. I'm sure you can understand my desire to not have to dump that on someone I barely know. But how do I explain that? I can't hide it, as driving is kind of a common skill. But I feel like it makes me look bad without the context, but with the context it's kind of... too much I guess? I don't know.
  19. Continuing on a fairly recent blog entry of mine dealing with the young lady at the restaurant, it would appear that she no longer works there. This is not the first time this has happened, though usually my reaction is of relief that I don't have to deal with it anymore. This time I'm a bit dissapointed. I know it's my own fault, but I just can't seem to do anything about it for a mess of reasons. I thought maybe I could do it this time. Probably the biggest one is my inability to drive, and I don't want to have to explain that to someone before I even really have a chance to meet them. And I feel like that might be an issue. Ugh. I really don't know how to deal with this.

    Go Vote

Today's the day, so if you are registered to vote, I strongly urge you to go make your voice heard. And if you're voting third party, don't listen to those who tell you it's a wasted Vote, it's not.

    Switch

If by "PC Master Race" you mean "What Broke This Time" Then by all means.
  22. Speaking as somebody who is tied up in the public transit system for a minimum 3 hours on weekdays this looks absolutely fantastic. If you haven't seen it: Most of my concerns lie with built in software and how all of that works and if Nintendo has finally decided to join this decade with it's online features, but I'm sure we'll hear more on that. But I'm pretty hyped.
  23. I guess I just don't get it then. I have pre-ordered a few games, though mostly to get them on release day through Amazon, and most of them when Nintendo games previously released in other regions. I've just seen so many broken ports and I feel that forcing a company to show what we get before we give them our money is generally a good thing for the consumer. Tells the company to not release a broken game which they seem generally fine with.
