  1. He got these off of EBay. Pictures of them when Brickshelf comes back: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=10109&do=findComment&comment=564889 More: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=10004
  2. It is a BIONICLE set TLG made as a "test" for when they made new sets. Kinda like a an early model of what the real set was going to be modeled after. No offense, but these prices should be lowered a lot especially the Green Miru... =/
  3. Most elements are versatile, but one that comes to mind is air because it can: -Create Air/cyclones/etc. -Control air -Manipulate air currents -Absorb/control air to create vacuums etc. It's pretty versatile because it can do many things regarding air, and you could control other elements as well within reason.
  4. No doubt '06 had the best little guys.
  5. BIRTHDAY HATS AT READY SIR.
  6. Current episode: We all wanted to travel in the sky once in our lifetime. Season 1: Episode 0: Prologue PGS: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. GS: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. PM me for details regarding PGSs and GSs. Credits: Gerlicky and Dark709 for the Six-Shade Chimoru Omega Dark709 for Chimoru Omega. More will be added as I try out new kits in the series. It's great to be back in comic making. I hope my reboot of my comic making is successful.
  7. I liked the HF Breakout game the most.
  8. Well, from here, the articulation seems great. Compared to your last revamp, I'm not a fan of this one as much. You should of said no to your brother, I don't like the hands either... The legs, and torso are things to be improved on too to make the color scheme more consistent. Speaking of the color scheme, it could be improved to stay more to the roots of the Pohatu Mata you modeled it after. There is much to be improved in this revamp, but I still think you did and OK job on Pohatu.
  9. Ah, I remember when I got MoL and watched it for the first time. Good times. Can't believe its been 10 years.
  10. Decent enough set. The vehicle looks actually really nice, and the minifigures are just a plus too. Thanks for the review xccj, I'll consider buying this one.
  11. Wow, this shows bigger doesn't mean better! I love how cute it is. x3 The design of Russel is very complex, yet so simple at the same time. It is one of the best entries I've seen in the BBC yet. Its just so small and streamlined, yet integrates many complex techniques. The color scheme is also very consistent, which I like. This little birdy can go far in the BBC, I wish you luck!
  12. A shame this didn't get many replies. It looks pretty darn amazing. The wings look nice, but a tad messy. I like how you tried to keep up a consistent color scheme of Mata Blue, silver, and gold, but the dark blue pins throw it off a bit. The body looks nice and streamlined with a good contrast of bulk to slim. The best part about the Modra Bird to me is the body, which I believe is very nice looking. The head looks simple and pleasing to get the job done. Great job, I wish you luck in the BBC!
  13. It's so cute. <3 The detail you put into this small, little bird is astounding. The colors you chose for the plumage, white, blue, brown, and gold are a great combination. There are so many unique and creative techniques in the Cuckoo that makes it really appealing to look at. The shaping of the body is perfect for the bird. After seeing pictures of the real life counterpart, you captured the body just right to make it so realistic. The head looks amazingly accurate just to top it off. Amazing job, this certainly looks like a front runner in the BBC, good luck!
  14. Looks great. The torso, although could be improved in the armoring section, gets the job done when you wanted to have the Toa Mata with more articulation points. The legs and arms are a bit empty, but sacrifices armor for points of articulation. The hands have a overused, yet never gets old design. I never stop liking them. Overall, I believe your Kopaka Mata revamp stayed to its roots, yet gets the job done where you wanted more points of articulation. Even though some areas could be improved, you did a great job.
  15. Yes! I'm very excited about this one! This is a must buy in my book.
  16. Honestly, the custom designs for the torso and other areas look...very disproportionate seeing as you put some effort in making it custom. Honestly, it looks like you added things to the MoC for the sake of adding things to it. An example of this would include the red jets on the backs of the upper legs. They don't go with the MoC, honestly, at all. The torso looks very awkward with it being custom. That could be improved on a lot. The proportions looks like something that could be improved on a lot also, add some armor on the torso. It's very empty compared to the rest of the MoC. The arms look like you tried just a little bit of asymmetry with the shield on the upper arm, but I think it would like better somewhere on the back of the MoC. The hands you used are a pretty overuused technique, but I'm fine with it I suppose. The weapon shows promise with the design, but as Aanchir said, lacking volume on the bottom. Overall, the MoC includes a lot of unique, custom designs throughout the MoC. You tried to show you could work custom designs into your work, but you missed the target on this one. I prefer simpler designs over overly complex designs that don't really work out. You tried to put custom designs into your work, which I appreciate. Even though you missed the target this time, keep trying! Your MoC designs can only get better.
  17. Ludwig, Razorbeak, Russel, and Macaw were really good out of this lot in their own unique ways. Due to the details and sheer complexity in the design, my vote goes to Macaw.
  18. Really, Chestnut wins my vote hands down. Jazbay and Popeye were other honorable mentions, but Chestnut was so amazing it's crazy.
  19. Ouch! This was a really good batch of entries. Hmm, the entries that stood out for me were Terror, Cyanistes, Hummaera, Kahu, Modra, and Buzzy. Down to the wire with details, my absoulute favorites were Terror, Cyanistes and Hummaera. With the flow of nice details and a very nice color scheme, Hummaera gets my vote.
  20. Many, many early '01, '02, '03, and '04 kanohi. Thinking about it, how about lots of kanohi in different colors. That would be nice for display and MoCing. ^.^
  21. They're classified as creatures, not rahi I believe.
  22. -snip- I'm not quite sure what you're saying here. Do you mean that they subconsciously knew where the Exo-Toa were before actually discovering them? No. I'm trying to say is after they discovered them, which was in the caverns of Mata-Nui during the Bohrok swarms, when they activated the Exo-Toa, they found out that they couldn't use their elemental powers, which was essential is defeating the bohrok. They discovered the Exo-Toa, they didn't know where the Exo-Toa were before they discovered it.
  23. Rahi are fauna, compared to the animals of our world, Earth. The definition of a "rahi" from BS01: The main aspect of rahi is that they are generally most of the time of lower intellect, compared to Sapient Species, such as matoran. (Exceptions include the Artakha Bull.) The definition of Sapient Species from BS01: Also, the main difference between "Creatures" and "Rahi" is stated here from BS01: The Artakha Bull, as you said is highly intelligent, but is still classified as a rahi I believe because they were created by the Makuta by combining viruses and liquid protodermis.
  24. Really, the Exo-Toa wasn't really necessary in that arc of Bionicle. To quote BS01: The Exo-Toa was in the Toa's minds, a liability and wasn't needed. The reason is because when the Toa were in the Exo-Toa, the Exo-Toa blocked the use of their elemental powers, which was essentially the only way to defeat the Bahrag. I guess TLG found it a gimmicky way to fit in another set for BIONICLE, somehow squeezing it's way into the story.
