Wow, this is really neat! You do an excellent job with character design, enough to avoid the things like the humanlike proportions and hands. It's heartening to see that good oldfashioned pen, ink, and paper still can do great stuff...especially seeing as I have like no experience with computer art (yet).
  2. Capital execution! I read this all in the trailer voice! But about the cast list...actually, they did a "Starring" list for ALL 151 Pokemon for their Honest Pokemon trailer, which was honestly the funniest part of the trailer. So here are a few (mediocreish) examples? Of course, limiting the cast list to characters with sets might be a good idea, too. Onua Nuva: Texas Chainsaw Massacre Roodaka: Bewbs (Another running Honest Trailers gag) Turaga Dume: Doom Morbuzakh: Audrey Two Gadunka: More Teeth than the Osmond Family Yes, those are pretty bad, but keep in mind that EVERYONE in the Starring lists is treated like this. And there are a LOT of references.
  3. Man, this is really, really interesting. Your execution of Onua is great, especially the claws and feet. Those are gorgeous. However, I did notice that both your Onua and Lewa have slightly more humanlike proportions. It threw me off a bit, and it makes the lowered head look stranger than it should. Still, though, this is awesome, and I can't wait for the rest of the Toa Mata.
  4. I don't think the issue is with how strong characters are or how strong gravity is, but how much they actually weigh in earth units. If Protosteel weighs as much as iron, then the armor would weigh around 150 lbs, maybe a bit more (comparison to full medieval armor). The organic protodermis itself (muscle, etc.) would weigh at most around 250 lbs--putting the weight of a Toa at somewhere around 300 lbs (comparison to a 7-foot-tall person).
  5. Definitely 2006-07.It comes right afterwards, has the potential to be really, really dark, and there are some really awesome parts in there. Not least because the movie could end bittersweetly with Matoro's statue, or (I really want to see this) at least a tiny little bit from Into the Darkness. In 2006, there's also a lot of stuff that would make a great movie. My point is that those two years have enough material to really get indepth in the story, as well as having a bigger sense of uncertainty in the plot, like in the first three movies. In 2008 it was kind of a foregone conclusion that the Toa Nuva would win.
  6. Looks like fun!One question though: Can we use ANY Lego theme we want to, or just the ones in circulation? Or just Lego-exclusive themes?
  7. Personally, the only thing I'm interested in is that Evo's back. He's hands down my #1 favorite hero, and I can't wait to see him again.
  8. Tintina!! FOR THE WIN!

  9. Hey, the video in your sig. Yeah, it's awesome.

  10. Is that HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey in your avatar, or am I just crazy?

  11. Hey, I'm a Christian too! :)
