    Just finished a 2833-word short story for English class. It could've been much longer, but it's already more than nine pages, and the limit is eight. =/

      That's what I thought. It had a minimum length of six pages and had to consist of exactly three distinct "scenes" or "divisions." It basically came out to be three closely related "short" stories tacked together.

      It's great so far, though I haven't played much yet. I had to do the intro segment twice - I bought a "refurbished" PS3 from Gamestop the same day, and it died the day after, taking my save with it. So I just decided to go for a new one instead, which I got today.

    Currently downloading the Portal demo to get an idea of how well the game will run on my laptop.

      Yes indeed, Calvin and Hobbes is awesome. Get Fuzzy and Pearls Before Swine are great too, but not at Calvin and Hobbes' level.

      The only strip that comes close to it in my mind is FoxTrot. Of course, comparing the two is pretty much pointless since they're so vastly different, but still.
