  1. Thanks, guys. With regard to Ko, what exactly happened / is happening to the government / Guard following the battle?
  2. So anyway if somebody wants to give me a recap of the past 2-3 months or so that'd be great.
  3. That we would do / we should do when we would; for this 'would' changes / and hath abatements and delays as many / as there are tongues, are hands, are accidents; / and then this "should" is like a spendthrift sigh, / that hurts by easing.

  4. Hunger Games The Third One. As with Catching Fire, I thought Mockingjay 1 was better than the book, mostly in that the actors - in my mind, at least - did a fantastic job of conveying the emotional weight of what was going on, an area in which I found the book to be lacking.
  5. Read Hamlet for AP Lit. Pretty great. I was in a Shakespeare mood so I picked up Twelfth Night and The Tempest; currently reading the former.
  6. Hey guys what's up. Been really busy, want to get back into stuff, the usual. Anything interesting happen during the last two months or so? Hey would you look at that it's been exactly two months since my last RPG post. Neat.
  7. IC: CHANGE VOTE from Tan to Black
  8. IC: I believe that the ghost of Mr. Blood is suggesting that the still-living Mr. Lime is not in fact a gunslinger as he led us to believe in his reactionary execution of Mr. Blood himself. This would of course implicate Mr. Lime as the rat - assuming he somehow had access to the knowledge that the true gunslingers were deceased, he could easily have made use of our ignorance of this fact to impersonate one and thereby divert suspicion from himself. While potentially a plausible theory, it does not address the question of how Mr. Lime or Mr. Blood came to know that both gunslingers had been eliminated. As such, my vote will remain unchanged for the present moment.
  9. IC: I must say I find little definitive reason to suspect Ms. Green or Mr. Black over any of the rest of out company. I do, however, find it intriguing that Mr. Tan so rapidly expressed belief of the statement of the late Mr. Blood's wandering spirit that Blood himself was the rat, especially considering that Mr. Blood had expressed the behavior to be expected of an opportunist with very little subtlety. It seems quite possible to me that Mr. Tan was attempting to feign ignorance with his comment, thereby diverting suspicion from himself. Likely? Perhaps, or perhaps Mr. Tan simply made an error of judgement in the excitement of the moment. But as the situation stands, this seems to me the most likely of the leads we have. VOTE Tan
  10. Excuse me sir what part of "golden" don't you understand
  11. tfw mental breakdowns at 11 pm

  12. IC: I feel that it is at least within the realm of possibility that Mr. Silver desired that each of us be incarcerated and felt that his early departure would prompt the rest of us to abandon our objective and split up, causing the authorities considerable effort in locating us. As it is, however, Mr. Silver has brought all of us to a single location, allowing us all to be brought down simultaneously. Of course, I am not certain exactly as to the nature of Mr. Silver's motive for keeping us together - if, indeed, he is the rat - but, well, I'm sure each of you is aware that his record - much like each of ours - is not exactly spotless. Perhaps he has some sort of arrangement with our pursuers that involves a bit of mercy should he aid in our collective capture? Of course, it is possible that I am wrong entirely and that Mr. Silver is not in fact the man we're after. I merely do not believe that he should be ruled out. His silence is, as Mr. Teal has stated, rather suspicious. Perhaps he would like to personally answer these accusations?
  13. IC: As it stands, I currently see very little convincing evidence pointing to the guilt of any of the remaining among our number. As such, I shall abstain for the moment from providing input on which of us should next meet his (or, as the case may be, her) end. However, as Mr. Blood is wont to remind us, we are operating on a rapidly dwindling timetable, and even a moment's abstention puts us all in jeopardy. As such, I would sincerely appreciate if one of you would be willing to count and list the current number of votes for each current suspect.
  14. IC: In accordance with Mr. Gold's suspicious desire to avoid necessary bloodshed and his evident lust for his own death, I concur that he should be eliminated rather than Mr. Blue. CHANGE VOTE: from Blue to Gold
  15. IC: I do apologize for my silence thus far. I am afraid that I have little to contribute at the moment save to corroborate the stories of Mr. Lime and Mr. Teal. I do not believe that either of these two fine gentlemen is responsible for our current predicament, for I was rather closely observing both of their actions, but I regret to say that I cannot fully be certain of their innocence in this matter. There is a possibility, however unlikely, that one of them took advantage of the lapse in my vigilance afforded by my receipt of Mr. Tan's phone call - but, as I previously indicated, I doubt that this is the case. In the interest of capitalizing on our dwindling window of time, I too feel that Mr. Blue should be executed. Believe me when I say that the matter is not personal.
  16. It bothers me that replays are still unusable though.
  17. @Phoenix: I agree that the Mario universe is overrepresented, but I personally view Donkey Kong as far enough removed from Mario to warrant additional representation of its own.
  18. My primary reason for thinking that Marth maybe isn't as absolutely terrible as a lot of people seem to think is that I believe there hasn't been enough time since the game's release for people to adjust to his alterations. The incident I mentioned was merely a bit of practical evidence to support this conclusion - one meant to be taken, as implied by the qualifier that immediately followed it, with a grain of salt. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear - and I've edited the post in an attempt to make it more so - but I do put thought into my posts, and if I write something, I generally mean it. Also @Phoenix: Perhaps my statement about Sakurai not caring about Donkey Kong was a bit of an exaggeration, but its representation is nonetheless minimal in comparison to other series, many of them less significant. DK is, according to Wikipedia, Nintendo's fourth-highest-selling mainstream franchise (following Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda, in that order, and excluding Mario Kart and the "Wii" line of games), and has met with tremendous critical acclaim throughout the past 33 years of its existence. And yet in Smash 4 it has only two playable characters, four stages (spread out across two versions), two Smash Run enemies, two (2) items, and no (0) assist trophies. I don't feel like taking the time to list off the numbers for each of those aspects of representation for the other series present in Smash (nor do I imagine anyone would take the time to read through them all), but it's safe to say we're talking very low on the list for DK.
  19. I'm entirely aware of that, as evidenced by the fact that I said so in my post.
