  1. IC: "No. If I were to guess, somewhere in Le-Wahi. That's where I was kidnapped by an absolute monstrosity. Next thing I knew when I woke up, my weapons and my mask were gone, and I was inside this room, stuck waiting." I looked towards the person who had spoke; A Toa, who looked like some guy out of an advert; thick yet smooth muscles adorned his frame as though he'd spent the time before he'd been thrown in here working out throughout day and night. He was without a mask, though, and that probably was tiring him out as well. But I'd spent more time than he had within this cell, and by now I'd gotten somewhat used to the lack of energy; at least, enough to have the following outburst in anger and furstration. "And do you know what ###### me off? When random, utter strangers decide they barge into your life and hit your head. I mean, don't they have courtesy? Can't they not mind their own business, or at the very least ask you to come with them nicely instead of ATTACKING YOU? Gah, people these days. Massive pricks."
  2. IC: From her 'hiding spot', Floria simply stared at the pirate foe's ship as it passed. But when Lasinia launched off into the space between the two ships, only then did it occur that the other Toa was referring to Floria as the drunk. "Oh. Seriously?"
  3. The takchopper goes takatakatakatakatakatakataka And that is how Taka Nuvia learned to fly.
  4. Well there's like..... I dunno 6, 7 years of backstory?
  5. A Toa who dedicates him/her/itself to protecting the galaxy, fighting Dark Lords, evading chaos coffee and in their spare time argue about living in a house while being plastic toys and probably playing monopoly and Halo.
  6. Mmmmm. Say, how many players in this game are Toa Zehvor? say aye
  7. IC: There was a sudden flare in front on me, and from pure instinct I closed it, Reyna kicking in to temporarily become by main sense. Before I could even open my eyes, Reyna had called out Kiron leaping towards me from the side, blade in hand. Grunting, I jumped backwards, slowly opening my eyes again. They still stung a little bit from the heat and intense light from before, but nowhere near if I had forced them to remain open. By now, I could see Kiron standing where I had been, and before he could continue his assault I had fired off a bolt of electricity towards his chest.
  8. I might make a Dasaka character, JUST for the ramen.
  9. IC: "Yeah, lets screw that rule. Throw it out the window."
  10. IC: Years Ago....... "The Kanohi Sohfir. Legend tells of great Toa-heroes who's great masks of power was the Sohfir, the mask of friction. This unorthodox mask allowed the user to manipulate friction - the very forces of two objects clashing." "What kind of objects?" "Anything." "What about people?" "People?" "Well, more than just people. Matoran and Rahi are always hitting each other. Same with the bad matoran. If you could control the hitting, then you could stop it, right? And that would be peace!" "Ahahaha. Yes, perhaps. That would be peace." * * * Present day...... I rose once again, my hands clawing in useless anguish against this prison, this maniacal solitude. The mask of friction had been taken......and it was the only thing left behind for me. The only thing they had left behind for me, before they left this world and passed onto the next. Tch. Right then and there, I made a promise to myself. I would get my mask back. And I would make whoever took it pay. And I would make whoever took them pay. I wouldn't be locked in here forever.
  11. IC: "Aye aye, captain," The command from Lohkar acted as a catalyst for Floria to disappear as she activated her Huna, invisibility quickly spreading over her body as she drew her swords and stood, shaded by the stairs between the quarter and main deck.
  12. IC: "Hey, you remember what we said about no elemental powers?"
  13. /cleanly fellow /lives in a crater filled with filthy toxic chemicals bubbling everywhere only reachable by surviving noxious fumes that 'prevent all life'
  14. Oh yeah, before I forget, I think something we sorely need is a direct link to a BZPRPG chatbox. I'm pretty sure one exists on skype, and I've also heard of a 'staff chat' existing somewhere, but if there's a chatbox out there just for BZPRPG players, then we need quick and easy access to it. This is probably something that will boost activity a lot, if we can simply get on a chatbox and shout 'Anyone on lets interact' or something to get some stuff for your characters going.
  15. OOC: Since this is kinda Kiron's weakness.... IC: Without further ado, we clashed with each other again. Atop the deck of the Inika, our blades became a storm of flashing fury; our armor became colored blurs, dancing atop our ship against the background of the sea and sky. Each of our strikes were blocked, countered, dodged and reversed. When I slashed, Kiron parried. When he stabbed, I sidestepped. Despite our unique movesets and fighting style, we were evenly matched; it got to the point where I was no longer fighting with my mind, but letting my body follow it's instincts. I could almost sense what Kiron was about to do next; each movement he performed, I had a reaction for. The same applied to him - everything I did in my attempts to strike either didn't come close, or left me in the wake of danger from him as well. I wasn't exactly sure whether the commotion was affecting the others under the deck; nor do I think it really made a big matter. My mind - and Reyna's - were solely focused on the combat. We were in sync; two pieces of a puzzle that now fit perfectly together to form a bigger, wider picture. I was fighting, but at the same time I was knowing. I knew where to step to avoid tripping against a rope or metal grating; I knew when I could grab a pole sticking out of the ground as a pivot to control my momentum. When Kiron shrunk, it wasn't me who needed to focus on where he was but Reyna. Wherever I went, I had a simple escape route thanks to the knowledge that my Anxilia gave me. It was like eyes at the back of my head.....a radar for pure situational awareness. Our blades clanged again, my leaf-shaped sword crossing paths against his scimitar. The resultant vibration between the two metal weapons created a soft hum that was both unnerving and evocative. This was a fight - and it was fun. Yet, as I fought against the Toa of Fire, I could sense a slight change in tone. Reyna was giving me awareness, and I was using it in combat. Both my experience in having seen fights, as well as Reyna's ability to sense movement, gave me a slight hunch - I was winning the fight. There were slight lull's in our fight where I expected something coming that didn't - a block that I pulled back from, expecting a burst of fire, only to receive nothing but the cool ocean breeze as my repose. We were winning, even if by a tiny margin, and I could guess very clearly why: We were fighting without Elemental Powers. My Anxilia gave me an advantage that nobody else aboard this ship had - two minds, one objective. The more we both knew that we were achieving the objective, the harder we fought. With her Arthron, no matter how much Kiron disappeared with his Pehkui, we were there for him. Without his Elemental power available to send jetstreams of flame towards me, it felt as though the fight, despite all of it's magnificent glory as we circled each other within a spiralling mayhem of blue and red, was missing something in the ranged compartment. And we didn't relent one bit. The more we thought we could push, the harder we would push. Kiron put up an amazing fight, but with Reyna by my side I could simply fight better without our elements. In a purely physical brawl, Reyna's ability to read Kiron's movements gave us an small yet astonishing edge in combat. Whether it was seconds or minutes since we began our fight, I wasn't sure, but eventually I backed Kiron against one of the large poles that held up a few of our ship's sails. "Well?" I exclaimed between gasping breaths, my blade pressing against Kiron's in a stalemate of power. "Anything above deck is our arena, right?" He asked. I nodded, a bit dumbfounded as to why such a question would arise in this situation. But before I could open my mouth to ask, Kiron quickly shifted position. He shrunk - for a few milliseconds - suddenly removing the resisting force my arm was pressing against, before he promptly enlarged again, except this time he was in position for a side kick that I could barely block in time by twisting my shoulder around to meet his foot. The sudden kick sent me staggering back a few steps, and in these moments of respite Kiron quickly performed a flourish, cutting through a set of taut ropes beside him before he himself grabbed the ends of one of them. Back! Reyna's voice reverberated through my mind, and I immediately followed the command, jumping backwards and avoiding the stack of....whatever it was that fell onto the spot where I had just been standing. Looking up, I noticed that the Toa of Fire had held onto the rope, which had pulled him upwards of the mast. Now standing atop one of the horizontal spars, with a rope in one hand, he pointed his sword at me with a beckon. "I see.....so that's how it is," I muttered with a smile. Sword in hand, I followed suit, climbing up the rigging to reach the same spar Kiron stood upon. "Ready?" OOC: Lets play Feel free to bunny the same way if you think it'll be good.
  16. As far as I can tell, there are currently two big 'main story' events that are open for players to join. The first would be the Piraka-fight that's currently happening in Ta-Koro. The second would be Princess Yumiwa's birthday party thing going on in Kentoku, but to join that you'd need to read up on the guide for Dasaka characters (The race which inhabits the Kentoku isles). Otherwise, you could always try cracking Makuta's vault riddle.
  17. IC: *Rub rub* *Rub rub rub* "What the ?" I muttered as my hands touched against the surface of my cell. It wasn't the cell that confused me; but the texture. Or feel. Whatever. As my fingertips gleaned over the bark of the wooden cage surrounding me, something felt different than normal. Something felt....missing. The Sohfir!? My hands went up to my face and glanced through thin air as they reached for where my mask should have been. The unique curves and angles of the Mask of Friction no longer situated where they should be. Without the mask, that explained why everything felt....weird. The clever understanding of how objects rubbed against each other through my touch had been a factor of my mask, and without it, everything felt plain. As the fact that my mask was gone dawned on me, the placebo disappeared, and I immediately succumbed to the lack of energy, my leg giving out and my arms coming down for support. Steadying myself, I looked around again. As far as I could see, this entire prison was made of wood. I'm not sure where I was, but if I had to guess, we were still in Le-Wahi. The Sohfir was gone.... "Hey....Let me out." I could barely pronounce the words; I wasn't used at all to not having my mask on at all times. The sound probably didn't even get past the wooden walls of this confinement, but I spoke it nonetheless, hoping somebody would be able to hear it. My Sohfir is gone.
  18. IC: "Ah! What the-" I watched in fear as an abomination came out of the bushes like a predator stalking it's prey to hit me with a stick, which, having caught me off guard, hit me hard in the head. "Molessstorr....." I muttered with my last breath even as I slumped to the ground.
  19. IC: "Hello?" I muttered once again into the jungle, hoping somebody heard me.
  20. I wouldn't like something like this. It sounds WAAAAY too much like a character approval process, asking people what to change, what to add, what to discard. By the time your character has gone through everything, it may not be what you imagined at the start. And plus, while Approval processes work, I've always seen the BZPRPG as the one of a kind TBRPG that has never needed an Approval process.

  22. I spent months/close to a year since joining the RPG before I discovered the existence of N&D. And even then it took a few weeks to get accustomed to such a thing existing. This, very much this. While it may be a bigger effort to start writing out every single event that has thus happened in the past, it'd certainly be easy to keep things up to date if each person playing, or even reading, something that could fall under and overarching story arc or plot event to write an article for it. Off the top of my head, some of the examples I might give as things that could be, and would help a lot when written into a wiki page would include the Princess' Party in Kentoku, the rebuilding of Pala-Koro, the fight brewing between the Piraka and everybody else in Ta-Koro, Echelon's crew showing up in Syvra, etc. If I may add, it may also be a good idea to add things that are specific to characters who are 'always there' in the timeline, most prominently staff characters. A page following the Piraka and a page following the Abettor, for example, would, in the long run, be very helpful in keeping track of the main plot. (10/10 will contribute to wiki)
