  1. [citation needed] it was just something different. it's not even difficult once you learn to properly abuse rolling and how to position yourself. why does combat need to be mindless button mashing?
  2. i am genuinely furious at the levels of disrespect you have all shown. fallout 4 is the single biggest announcement in video games since the new consoles were announced and most of you have brushed it off like it's nothing. you all consider video games art, then you treat it like this? hypocrites. pathetic, honestly. i criticize the medium but i at least respect it, which is more than i can say for the lot of you. now, picture a guy reading that deadpan serious, but i'm joking. you don't have to care about fallout. i'm just very passionate about it. new vegas is my favourite game of all time and i've put more time into that game than i put into most productive things. (still isn't art, though) i don't know why people can't just play the game without turning it into some epic joke about how hard it is. multiplayer in dark souls is just pvp. there's no like, alternate game modes or anything. i'd argue that playing it without multiplayer is actually a better experience for the sole fact that you don't have to constantly worry about getting invaded. i agree that WRPGs don't put much emphasis on characters or plot but what they do put emphasis on is, in my opinion the better investment, the setting. WRPGs do a better job of giving you a world to interact with. i think that this is to the benefit of the game, since RPGs don't typically have stellar gameplay and that and immersion are the things that video games do best. edit: i'm gonna guess and say you don't like the combat because you aren't used to it, it's difficult because you aren't used to the combat, and you're frustrated because you aren't used to the combat. that's the same thing three times. a lack of interesting things is blatantly untrue because it has one of the coolest lores in recent memory as well as a really cool storytelling system AND a very creative art design. i personally like that there's a lot of exploring you can do, but different strokes i guess. the menu systems are user friendly either, i'll admit.
  3. how did it go in fo2, the population of a vault moved out, settled a town, and that's where the protag was born, right? haven't played it since my fanboy days i'll hold out judgements on the graphics since this wasn't gameplay footage, but i will say i do this the art is a lot better. most importantly, it's a lot more colourful. the new deathclaw looks sort of tryhard but i suppose that's sort of the point.
  4. it feels super cheesy that they're recycling the vault protagonist for a fourth time but at the same time it's a good sort of cheese. i also thought it was cheesy that they're appealing to nostalgia (that shot with vaulty and dogmeat v3 at the end) from fallout 3, which came out in 2008, but i suppose that game, for all its flaws, was really monumental. also it came out almost a decade ago. which is really insane.
  5. doubt it if anything would've killed them, it would've been the bombs.
  6. SERIOUSLY? FALLOUT 4 IS CONFIRMED AND NOBODY SAYS ANYTHING????????
  7. you're right it's a super paper mario game
  8. age of ultron was good up until the third act but every superhero movie falls apart in the third act
  9. as much as i liked letterman, colbert is probably one of the most brilliant comedians working right now and i'm eager to see what he does with letterman's position. but yo, the reason i came into this thread was to say the word Firefly and to post a sad emoticon Firefly
  10. both dylan and asa look about fourteen and neither should play spider man. as for donald glover, i gotta say i don't think he should play peter parker either. not because he's black, they made nick fury black and nobody cared, but because he couldn't give peter parker any sort of emotional depth at all. i saw the episodes of community where troy tried to be taken seriously, they were bad.
  11. bad question ^ better question: did they all have the same OT? if so, they were probably cloned or genned. if not... still probably cloned or genned not gonna lie
  12. elder scrolls fans are so spoiled. skyrim had such higher production values than fo3, they have an MMO out, and still they want a new game before fallout 4. Well I mean, if the last games in my series were TESO and Skyrim? I'd be clamoring for news on a good game too. bro nobody in the elder scrolls community has any problems with skyrim. @above: infinite was poorly made and juvenile.

  14. i only ever noticed the 360 controller was comfortable when i was waiting for its godawful loading times. the ds3 was just as comfortable if you held it loosely and most devs were wise to the complaints of the trigger and swapped it's commands with the better shoulder buttons anyway. it's a shame the boomerang controllers never made it to shelves, those things looked sweet. i see what you did there, hodor
  15. most people are. same thing that happened with fallout, everyone just jumped on the most commercial one.
  16. the 360 controller is actually quite a bit larger than the dualshock, and i understand it was also a lot more popular. you might have an easier time finding ps3 controllers like the 360s, but the other way around? nah edit: that isn't to say there can't be any, just good luck finding one
  17. no lmao nerd is it possible to trigger you?
  18. i'm of the mindset that if you're complaining about the dashboard or interface of a video game console, you're not playing enough video games on it.
  19. the whole gimmick of the avengers is the gigantic cast.
  20. saw ultron! started really well, fell apart in the third act as most superhero movies do. still better than most cape movies, though. glad hawkeye got a bigger part.
  21. no i didnt forget different regions. they don't affect how often eggs are produced. just the rate of shininess of the offspring.
  22. it goes like this, from slowest to fastest. throw in the oval charm wherever you do. different species, same trainer different species, different trainers same species, same trainer same species, different trainer
  23. capt 2 > iron man 1 > avengers > capt 1 > guardians > iron man 2 > thor > thor 2 > iron man 3 gonna see ultron on monday. after that, idk, should i watch the hulk? i'm not heavily invested in the series.
  24. typically though those arent siblings they're more like aunts and uncles breeding with nieces and nephews pokemon is a twisted game, man
