  1. I don't own any nintendo games or consoles, so not really. The person below me has a device that can run apps (like from Apple or Android).
  2. This is the official SSCC review of Dancing With Shadows by Takuaka: Toa of Time (Review by The Oneiromancer). In terms of grammar and flow, as completely expected with anyone who has read my reviews, I did not find any real problems with either. In terms of story, I would have liked to hear more about their backstories then was provided. It does mention that they seem to have some romantic tension, but I do think that the story could be better if such details about their past were included. I will say that the fight scenes were pretty nicely described Anyway, it was nice, thank you for choosing the SSCC and we hope to hear from you in the future.
  3. It is night, but it is not raining here. The person below me has a personal epithet, or something similar.
  4. That which you hate me for makes me proud.

  5. I never thought I would have to use this somewhere....yay. . I find it legitimately hilarious that this image fits what is going on here so well, all things considered.
  6. I love cars, but do not currently work on them. The person below me practices/has practiced a Martial Art.
  7. Not sure. The person below me finds tarantulas adorable.

  9. This is the SSCC Charity review of Searching by Nuile: The Wiseguy (review by Samhain). I do not remember getting a flow problem when reading it and neither me nor the spell check here got caught a spelling error. As for the story, it was just what I would have expected from one of your love stories. Though I will point out that I was not that worried about the protagonist when he was caught in the bad storm as I was quite certain what was going to happen (his crashing then his lover finding him) happened. My other nitpick is that I wanted to know what the man's lover did that made her a criminal that was so dangerous (or at least not recommended) to seek out to begin with. Knowing what she did and why this makes his devotion to her noteworthy would have helped the story in my opinion. Especially since it could be something more serious like "I shot someone in the back to take X/the X." to saying "YOLO" and being caught jay-walking. Anyway, it was pretty nice besides that, and we at the SSCC hope you come to us for your reviews in the future.
  10. Indeed, I am currently writing the story bible. The person below me lives in a desert.
  11. Nope, but the Metal Gear collection looks interesting. The person below me is interested in more lesser known games out recently.
  12. I would still call it a hybrid, because from what I heard, it is only running on pure electricity for about 25-50 (I heard about 35 more specifically) miles after fully charged, then it starts to use gas. In a sense it is really only an electric car if one never drives more then the amount of miles mentioned earlier. The Toyota Prius will also not use it's gas until it exceeds 15 MPH, but I wouldn't call it electric. In other news, for those who are into Dodge, the new Dodge Dart will be getting an SRT version with anywhere from 250 to 350 HP and a possible AWD drivetrain. Things about it are a little hazy, but it is known we are getting one.
  13. Does the hood on my hoodie count? @ Space Marine, I am aware they have the same meaning, but which name is used varies by region and you gave the MMO definition as another possible meaning for "gear head" hence me listing them both for sake of context. The person below me believes there is validity in the "He who fights monsters..." statement by Nietzsche.
  14. Not at all, though isn't the Chevy Volt a hybrid? The Fisker is technically not a hybrid because the gas engine in it does not directly move the car (it only charges the battery). Also I did not pick the Fisker because of it's fuel economy, but rather because it seems like the most fun and good performance specs. While the Volt seems like a nice car, I couldn't really see myself becoming that excited to actually drive it (this is not even considering that there is still a price issue here for me, for more then 2 grand less I can get a V8 mustang, something I would rather be driving then either of those).
  15. Finally made it to level 50, so now my specialization will be Pioneer, with it I can rank up through the other specializations faster ideally, though the main reason I chose it was for the armor.
  16. I am not the biggest fan of fuel efficient cars, not that I hate them of course (I got to drive my grandfather's prius once, and it was not bad at all). But I do like going faster even if that means sacrificing some fuel economy. I do have a problem with electric cars though, specifically that they seem to have ridiculously long recharge times, which I have seen in a range of about 12-16 hours, they also recommend that you don't try charging it unless the battery is empty or it will wear down the battery faster. The other gripe I will list here is the price, consider the Fisker Karma... Of all electric cars, I would probably want to own this one the most, but there is another problem, it costs about $99,000, and it is classified as a sub-compact with a 0-60 MPH time of 5.9 seconds. To be honest that is not really "bang for your buck" especially considering you can buy a new car with the same performance stats for about 1/4th that price. If you have that much money to spend on a car anyway, I doubt you would spend it on this anyway because for that money you can buy a Chevrolet Corvette, Nissan GT-R, various models of Aston Martin and Porsche, ect. I think you get my point.
  17. ________ Actually all Shadow Matoran, regardless of previous element, have shadow powers, the only power they do not have is that they do not grant their rider any powers when riding a toa or makuta.
  18. Now for more. -In the Dark Ages there was a massive Mongolian expansion across Asia and into Europe. As you would expect, it being the Dark Ages and all, Europe was not fairing well. What stopped the Mongolians you ask? The sudden death of their commander from a heart attack. -The current Shelby Mustang (the GT500 version) has the most powerful V8 ever put into production (according to Ford anyway). -There are some interpretations of the Succubus/Incubus demon that says they are one in the same and which one the particular being is depends on the person they want. -In the beginning of WWII, China actually requested and received assistance from the US to help fight Japan who was currently at war with them. They were a group of airmen whom were called "The Flying Tigers" by the Chinese, and along with training the Chinese pilots they also would go out on combat missions with them. -More US soldiers died in the 3 days of Gettysburg then in all 10 years of Vietnam combined. -If one were to make a Civil War wall the same way there is a Vietnam wall in DC, then the wall would be about 11 times larger. -The world record for most gunshot wounds taken where the person survived is apparently 21. -The world record for harshest fall survived was 75Gs.
  19. I probably listen to Gravity Hurts the most, but I do love them all. Oh and the song in the Mahri movie is Crashed by Chris Daughtry and "What it takes to be a hero" is actually called "Hero" by All Insane Kids.
  20. Well, the new Live thing fixed the Crimson DLC glitch. Also I found out that, for whatever reason, Lonewanderer is incapable of killing me. Call it fate being an excellent troll but everytime he got my shields down or found me without shields, Toa Zyglak kept either stealing his kill or killing me first. But what made it funny was that this happened at least 10 times in a row. There was also other awesomeness to be told of. -There was one time Lone managed to kill me, but unluckily for him, I stuck him and he died just as he began celebrating. -This other one was with XXaron, who was also with us the entire time. TZ's friend/brother/whatever was playing too and I stuck him just as XXaron began assassinating him. The result was an epic double kill.
  21. -In a Top Gear special, the 3 hosts (Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May) all had to roughly go along the same path as the 3 wise men (in small convertibles) and go to a manger with the 3 gifts the wise men gave Jesus. -The Jesus in question was actually a "baby Stig" and Jeremy could not find "Mur" (he admitted that he did not know what it was) so he got a Nintendo DS for Jesus/Stig instead.
  22. I have only played the demo but I am a regular fan of the Forza series. The person below me is a petrohead or gearhead.
  23. The last EA game I owned was Dead Space, but I traded those a long time ago for Metro 2033. The person below me prefers Jewel Cases to the flimsy cardboard ones used today for Music CDs.
