Toa Of Virtues

Even though we have a very small understanding of dark matter and dark energy, we know that they make up the majority of out universe. The part of our universe made of the matter and energy we know well (atoms, light, etc.) only contributes to 5% of all the matter and energy in the universe. The leading contender for what dark matter is made of is the "WIMP", or "weakly interacting massive particle". While the multiverse theory states that there are an infinite number of universes, the most widely accepted theory, supersymmetry, does not. The multiverse theory claims that the world is chaotic by nature, and supersymmetry claims that it is orderly by nature.

You guys can be slightly depressing, can't you? Considering that I created this topic, I should probably tell my own plans. After I graduate from high school, I plan to go to a college to earn a PhD in engineering physics, and hopefully work somewhere like Fermilab or CERN studying high energy/intensity particle physics. I'm working on the "getting into a college" part right now.

Space facts? I got a few. Black holes actually shine. "Virtual particles" (particles that constantly pop in and out of existence) are created at the event horizon, and before the two counterparts can destroy each other, the black hole consumes one while the other escapes. This is called Hawking Radiation, and the smaller the black hole is, the more it emits. "Spaghettification" Is the process in which a black hole, or other massive body, uses tidal forces to stretch out anything that comes near it. It can also be called the "noodle effect." The sun is powered by quantum tunneling. Classically, the sun should not have the energy it takes to fuse two atoms together. However, every now and then, an atom randomly shows up in a place it shouldn't be able to get to, allowing it to fuse. Thank quantum mechanics for the stars!

How about twin sickles? We haven't had any character use a sickle before, and it's fitting that a Toa of the Green would use a tool primarily used for farming. EDIT: I see someone has already suggested a sickle, and I second that, but I think he would need two.

I assumed that the nature of them is that they will only work in those two forms. The great beings would probably do this so that they cant create anything too powerful. And remember, you can only use masks of power if you are a toa or turaga, and it will only work if it is worn as a mask (except the mask of elemental energy, but that's an odd one).

Combustion is the chemical reaction resulting in flame that requires a fuel, a source of ignition, and oxygen. Fire itself is a plasma, a gas so hot that it glows. A burn, however, is just an injury, which doesn't even have to be caused by heat. For example, you can have a chemical burn. But burning can sometimes refer to combustion. I hope this clears up any confusion, now back on topic. I kind of like the fact that they have "Jungle" as the element that replaced air. I used to think that Lewa could control plant-life, since he used vines to capture the ash-bear in the movie. EDIT: This is my 1000th post! Wooo!

If you wear a skull spider, do you get its powers? If so, Kopaka can have X-ray vision again! Same with Pohatu and speed!

Consider it an UPDATE!!! Apparently the green skull spiders have x-ray vision, and the protector of jungle has slight clairvoyance. Also, the masks the Protectors have are handed down from father to son.

Now the entire site is down! I am almost certain that there will be an update, this doesn't usually happen by accident. EDIT: It's back up, but the Toa still are missing. EDIT: UPDATEEEEEE

Happy Thanksgiving! I think I can speak for all of us when I say that I am thankful for Bionicle's return.

All the Toa have disappeared from the site! It's just the banner, the message boards, and the flashing mask. Could this be the sign of a bigger update about to come?

The submissions just keep pouring in! I'm glad that people are enthusiastic about it, and all the great builds that came out of this... but my odds just keep going down! I hope there will be more competitions like this in the future.

Chapter 19 Entry 3 This may be the last time I can write with a clear head. Finally, I am burdened with the death of the ones I have killed. When I did it, by mind was not clear. There was a voice urging me forward, pressuring me to do its bidding. It has gotten louder and louder, blinding me from my own actions. Even looking back on my last entry, it feels like it was someone else writing. Only recently have I figured out where this madness has come from. I’m sick. My illness started out purely mental, making my actions more violent and rash. But just after committing the largest act of violence in history, it has shown itself. Boils soon covered my body, making everything painful to the touch. After what I have done, I deserve much worse. Others soon followed, turning my personal trauma into an outbreak. About five Nu-Matoran are in quarantine now, including me. We are constantly being tested like lab animals, and it hurts. Everything hurts. Just as I'd predicted, the Northern Continent has entered the war against us, and Metru Nui has begun its counterattack. Hordes of Vahki-Kal have swarmed us, starting the death toll on our side. Our response was another missile attack, and this one did not fail. While it did kill many, I suspect that the majority of the population had fled underground after they found out about the power of the “failed” missile. Although I hate to admit it, my actions might have actually saved more lives than they took. This is not an excuse for what I did. Nothing could take back what I did. To even think for a moment that what I did was the right thing deserves a punishment worse than death. Even my illness is too merciful to be appropriate punishment. I’m not asking for forgiveness, the only thing I want is for people to learn from me, in the hope that history will not repeat itself. Once I am done writing, I will turn myself in. I don’t know what good it will do now, but it’s the most I can do. I don’t know when I’m sane, so the decision of killing me now versus keeping me alive as a lab stone rat should be in the hands of someone with a more capable mind. Either way, I am doomed to the same fate. Breathing is hard. I never appreciated how easy it was until now. I have to struggle to gulp down even a breath of air, and force it back out. The air stings my swollen throat, and anywhere I put my weight burns as if the floor is made of hot needles. Even when my fingers touch, it shoots a bolt of pain up my arm. Writing this is the most painful and difficult thing of them all, but there is one thing I must do. Since Bionicle has been around for about 13 years now, it has become the home to a fandom of teenagers and young adults. Some of us are planning what we will do in college, and many of us are already pursuing a career! So, what are your plans for the future?

OK, we need Greg to make that mask and Makooti cannon. My life would be complete.
