Gellan, Wrathful Soul
Commander Spencer replied to Commander Spencer's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
Thanks for all the feedback, guys! I would if I had them in that color. Good idea though, I'll think about it if I ever get a hold of those bones. *Toa of Light Protagonist of my planned story alongside Gellan, the antagonist, or at least one of them. Polybag from February/March of last year. Came free with any purchase from a LEGO store or Shop at Home. -

I would love to see a comeback of Exo-Force. Maybe in addition to having some traditional Exo-Force-styled designs, we could also have some designs similar to those found in Gundam? Heck, maybe some Gurren Lagann-esque designs if they wanted to go for a Super Robot style instead of a Real Robot style.

MNOG, Backlot, Supersonic RC, Junkbot, Rhotuka Spinner Challenge, and the Johnny Thunder games were some of my favorites. I always loved going to see Takua in the coffee shop in Backlot.

I actually really like the change from dark blue to dark green; it makes him more accurate to his movie appearance. The one problem I have is the little things (toes, I guess?) on the sides of his feet. Going off of the movie, they should be white, and there should only be one per foot. However, that doesn't detract much from the appearance of the MOC; I've always had a fondness for MOCs that attempt to recreate the movie appearances of characters.

Mine are all together and I plan to keep it that way - think of it as a celebration to a new generation of Bionicle.

Set Review: 71309 Onua - Uniter of Earth
Commander Spencer replied to Hapori Tohu's topic in BZPower.com News Discussion
Not really a fan of his new torso - it's much too flat, unlike the Master's torso, which was nice and 3D due to the gearbox, which was gotten rid of on the Uniter. -
Mungus and Sir Fangar 2015 Redux
Commander Spencer replied to Mate.397's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
I can see your point, though I tried to make it feel like under the fur he has bones sticking out or just the fur itself is stuck in patches, exposing the holes in him and such. That still doesn't explain why there are very clearly visible pistons. :/ -
Mungus and Sir Fangar 2015 Redux
Commander Spencer replied to Mate.397's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
The G1 parts on Mungus really kill him for me, to be honest. The detailed robotic parts with pistons just don't look good on what is meant to be an organic animal. -
A young Artakha ready for battle
Commander Spencer replied to Foolery's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
My one major gripe with this MOC is that Artakha wore gray-green armor, not gold. Besides that, I think it's an alright MOC, though I don't really think that giant claw fits too well. -
You're right, it should be black. Ah well.

I don't have any black CCBS and I don't know what a T bar is. Thanks. This is a T bar: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4697b

My first was Vorahk. I believe he even came with a shadow Kraata, but alas, I was young and ended up losing it.
