  1. Lovely work, Almanax. Nice and simple, not dwelling too much on detail (in a good way), as Bulik said. Only thing I might suggest is dropping the module on the back of the head entirely, since that was part of the underwater theme for Kongu's mask, but that's up to you, of course! Again, nicely done. I'd love to see more of this MOC of yours.
  2. The Visorak were created by Chirox shortly after the Matoran Civil War, so roughly 78,000 years ago. As for why they were on Voya Nui, northmarch is correct: a few of them were scouting out that region for Sidorak before the Great Cataclysm and were stranded thereafter.
  3. I assumed it was part of their anatomy because it reminded me of the head-tails of a twi'lek. Personally, I don't think the people of SM could even have hair, just 'cause I feel that it doesn't fit with the whole robotics and biomechanics theme, but that's for each fan to decide for him/herself. I'm going to stick with the head-tail idea, ha ha.
  4. I think you have to have vision in the first place to be able to use a mask that can effect your sense of sight, unfortunately. And I was under the impression that the Shadow Matoran who accompanied the vampire-trio (as I call them) were connected to their partner telepathically, or at least somewhat. It's possible that that the three of them could literally look through the eyes of their Matoran partners and see whatever they saw. (If you've read/seen Eragon, think of that scene where Eragon looks through the eyes of Saphira via their Rider-and-dragon connection.) I could be wrong! It just sounds silly to me that three powerful Makuta (one of whom was Teridax's top lieutenant!) would have to rely on a bunch of little Matoran shouting "LEFT, GO LEFT! NO, YOUR OTHER LEFT!" XD
  5. To quote BS01: From what I've read, he pretty much had control over everything, save what the MU inhabitants themselves did. Basically, as long as everyone kept him running, he could maintain the conditions needed for everyone to live comfortably and keep him running. And you'll notice that even while asleep for all those years, he was still able to maintain the day-and-night cycle. I've long since forgotten where I read it, but it is a massive lighting-system that dims at "night". I believe the stars are, in fact, the giant light-bulbs that make up the "sky" in the MU. Think of a giant, spherical screen. Anyhow, my guess is that the day-and-night system only became "automatic" after he succumbed to the virus and collapsed on AM, though it may have been automatic even before that. Either way, he had the power to adjust it at any time; not that he would have made any drastic changes, though; that would only throw off the poor Matoran, ha ha.
  6. I Will Always Return (Finale) by Bryan Adams.
  7. That would be true if they were normal Toa. Because they are Nuva, maybe they have more Toa energy. Maybe the Toa they would make would be Nuva as well. As far as I know, it's never before been stated that the Toa Nuva possess more Toa Power than any other Toa, so I doubt they could create more than the maximum of six. *waits for bonesiii to ninja in* However, I'm fairly certain that Toa Stones created by the Nuva would not turn the Stones' bearers into Nuva. Plus, since Tahu is not exactly a Nuva anymore, I'm doubly certain that any Matoran in possession of a Toa Stone imbued with his powers would not turn into a Toa Nuva themselves. It was the destiny of the Toa Mata to become the Nuva, so unless their "successors" are also destined to become Nuva (or something similar), I doubt the Nuva's unique energies/powers would do anything more than transform them into basic Toa. Considering how disorganized things currently are on SM, it wouldn't be wise for them to do so.
  8. I believe helping everyone reorganize after the reformation of SM is still a part of the destinies of all currently living Toa, especially the Toa Nuva, as most of us have said. But let's not forget that there are no longer as many Toa as there once were. Perhaps the older teams will "retire" once more Toa come into being. The most likely scenario, in my mind, is that once everyone has settled on SM, the Nuva would then create more than one Toa Stone each (six maximum, yes?) and then join the other Turaga in guiding the Matoran as elders while teams such as the Mahri train the new Toa.
  9. Can't say it interests me.TPBM has at least one Beatles album on their iPod/MP3-player.
  10. 5/10 at best, ha ha, but I hope to improve on that at least a little bit.
  11. Yeah, I was the one who originally asked that question and thought it odd that they shortened it. XD
  12. Is it a stretch to say that I suspected that something was up as far back as 2004? :II mean, you cannot tell me that I was the only one who watched LoM right after it's release and didn't think this was odd: http://tinyurl.com/cc7ahn6I'll admit that I never sought to delve very far into the lore and technical aspects of the Bionicle universe until the line came to an end in '09/'10 when it suddenly hit me, "............... OH LAWD, I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS FABULOUS STORY I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING FOR ALL OF, WHAT, TEN YEARS NOW?!" ( ꒪Д꒪)ノI never really saw the Mata Nui-is-a-giant-robot thing coming, but the more they added to the process of awakening him and (later) saving his life, the more suspicious I became. Like Chro said, I simply believed him to have been more heavily tied to the MU than we had originally thought. I think what really did it was the whole thing with the Codrex and everyone needing to high-tail it out of Karda Nui while islands shifted back into place or whatever. "WHAT DOES ANY OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH AWAKENING A SPIRIT?! Oh wait...." was pretty much my thought-process right before the "big reveal", ha ha.
  13. Not yet!TPBM is squinting/moving their face closer to the screen to read this.
  14. Winterspell (SkyWorld) by TSFH. (I love to draw and write role-play posts while TSFH plays in the background.)
  15. There is one advantage Plasma has over Fire:......Neon lights. *bricked*
  16. Now that I think about it, doesn't BS01 say something about the effects of a Nova Blast varying? I need to check again; but I guess that would mean that the effects/result of said Nova are entirely up to the writer, provided you adhere to physics and such as closely as possible, of course.
  17. What would the power-manifestations and preferred regions of Fa-, Su-, Ba- and Bo-Matoran be?
  18. We're just being goofs, ha ha. Because, come on, it would be hilarious. Like saying an Av Nova Blast would be a glorified light-show, ha ha. You're right, though. My golly, imagine all of the weird/freaky plants they could summon in the process. Though now I have this mental-image of a Bo Nova Blast unleashing massive Morbuzakh-like vines all around that can overtake an island in a matter of seconds. If we assume that the Bohrok-Kal's powers are similar, then elemental Gravity turned up to eleven would cause a small-scale singularity, crushing things caught in it with an extreme increase in gravity. Magnetism, on the other hand, would probably magnetize everything in the area, causing the objects (and beings) to be tossed into a chaotic field of attraction and repulsion. The forces might force them all to converge into one big mass of magnetized metal (like Gahlok-Kal when it got crushed) or it might simply tear them apart as a leg becomes attached to a wall while the arms tries to reach your fellow Toa. Or maybe some weapons in magnetic flight decide to embed themselves in your gut.Welp, guess which Nova Blast won't be in my fan-fics, eh heh heh. I do like the idea of a massive black-hole, though, or something similar. It has story potential. *strokes chin in thought* As for EE recharge-time, a week or more sounds a bit long, but that's just me. I guess it would depend on the Toa. Perhaps it recharges more quickly for more experienced Toa.Another thing I forgot to ask is what exactly causes the Toa who performed the Nova Blast to die. Being bombarded by your own Element? (I assumed it wasn't the case because said Toa would be in the center of it all, right? I could be very wrong, ha ha.) The physical and/or mental strain? The abrupt depletion of every bit of EE you have? All of the above? Sorry, you've all got me in a groove, and I'm just reveling in all of this info, ha ha.
  19. So basically: you can, at any place and any time, provided you have enough EE, poof your element into existence and unleash it in a (possibly?) 50 kio radius, or greater, that could potentially raze an entire city to the ground. Thanks for the info, bonesiii. I didn't know about that one rule. Two things that still bug me though: one, this covers fourteen of the sixteen Elements (if you include Shadow), but how would the Nova Blast of a Fa-Toa and a Ba-Toa manifest? And two, was it ever mentioned how long it takes EE to recharge? I swear there were topics on these subjects before, but I can't find them now.
  20. Frankly, I assume it would manifest itself much like the pokemon move 'Leaf Storm', but obviously with more devastating results, ha ha.
  21. Actually, the BS01 page for "Jungle" says: "Absorbing plant life".Plus the Nova Blast page says: "...drawing in all the moisture for hundreds of kio around and releasing it along with all of her Water powers at once..."I don't know, but ~garnira returns~' theory could be close. Bonesiii is right about it not working in a lifeless desert, but if Bo-Toa can create plant-life (as it says in the quote), that implies that they can create it anywhere, right? I need to go back and read that other topic...
