  1. IC: Threiaa - Beastie Bits "Any sap could nab a chunk of gristle and show it to the guard! They don't have any way of knowing it was me in that ship that blew it's brains out!"
  2. IC: Threiaa - Beastie Bits "Pardon if ya give me one moment with my associate," Threiaa said to Armani, before taking Ailun by the shoulder and hunching down to his level. "Look, I don't know what grief y've got with guardy over here, but we don't have any solid proof that we took the beastie to greener pastures. Neither of us will loikely find any kind of favor in Branar's eyes, 'specially me, but she has rank. Unpleasant as her pleasantness moight get, we moight need her." IC: Tveke - Second Breath "The'name's TV," I said to the matoran in front of me. OOC: Sorry I've been so out of the loop, and especially sorry to CapMarvelous. I didn't see that post from over a month ago D:
  3. IC: Threiaa - Grimey guts She let out a bark of a laugh. "HA! Y'hear that? You're a bon-a-foide fake agori, Ailun! Haha!" She chuckled a bit more to herself, before settling down, and turning to Armani. "Alroight then. I'm sure my companion here would be fine with you tagging along, being an official an' such."
  4. IC: Phantom - Ruins on the Water "Buried?" Phantom knew the word, though she wasn't sure how. Her question was to "why" and not "what". But when she turned to see Gaever's face, the need for an answer left. Even if she didn't know why, this was important to her. IC: Slif - Library I just... lumbered along behind them.
  5. IC: Slif - Hallways I opened my mouth, but clacked it shut. I'd been to the library, but I didn't need to bring it up. Might as well just let the nervous kid do her thing.
  6. IC: Sim - Refectory -> Hallways Things seemed... good, for Melody and company. It was probably best that I took off. Without interrupting the party, I retreated back to the hallways. IC: Slif - Hallways "Somewhere that's not the refectory. Been there plenty of times." I shrugged.
  7. IC: Threiaa - Beasty Bits "Oi! Don't be rude!" She flicked the back of Ailun's head with her hand, not with any intent to harm, "It's a roight noice pin. Thing." "I think we would like to talk with this Branar, though. Moighta roughed up Maiden a bit much with that rammin', and I'd like fix whatever ails her.." Her smile widened, thinking back to the smashing event. IC: Tveke - Second Breath I took her hand gladly, and shook.
  8. IC: Slif - FRIEND TIME I grinned, with a lot more sincerity. "Yeah, I got nothing going on."
  9. IC: Threiaa - Oh "Oh, alroight then." It was a nice gesture, she supposed, but was hoping she would be paid for all this.
  10. IC: Threiaa - Immediately thinking about use of boon "Thanks!" "...Does this get me any kind of discounts? Or..." She loosely pointed at the badge.
  11. IC: Tveke - Second Breath "Well, a'right then. Plant like this is pretty rare though, I'll part with it and the foodbars, and I'll throw in some Madu fruit." Fact of the matter was, I didn't really have any more widgets. I was just lucky enough to have a food source so I didn't have to worry too much about it. Really needed to sell at the market tomorrow... IC: 042 - Collapsed District, New Atero This was it. 042 could not continue functioning in it's duties without risking total failure of it's primary systems. Taking the last few moments to shove a large chunk of rubble aside to free it's prisoner, the guard finally collapsed onto the ground. It lay there, heaving as it continued to slowly drain fluid. "Sigh," This was, in whatever strange way, incredibly painful. With an aching groan, 042 once again used it's grappling cable, dragging its limp body towards the Maxilos facilities.
  12. IC: Tveke - Second Breath "You sure?" I couldn't help but be a little incredulous. It wasn't the most popular of flowers, "Rogue's Bloom ain't exactly the most utilitarian of plants. Unless you know how to make 'em work."
  13. IC: Threiaa - Beasty Bits, New Atero Oh, she was congratulating her. That's a lot better than expected. Before the guard could say anything more, Threiaa tossed the crystals into the rockoh. "Thanks! I was gettin' antsy sittin' around, felt loike doin' somethin'." She replied to the guard. IC: Tveke - Second Breath My eyes followed her finger, seeing the flower in it's box. "Depends on what you think it is," I say to her, "If you're thinking it's a Kino Kororia, you'd be right. Rogue's Bloom?"
  14. IC: Threiaa - Collapsed District, New Atero The ship skidded to a halt on the sandy ground, bits of monster flesh surrounding. The moment her ship settled, Threiaa shot out of the cockpit and back towards the knowledge tower. This crystal was absolutely massive. Just a chunk could provide tens of ammo rounds for the ICLs. So naturally, she scooped up as many of the shards of crystal littering the ground as she could. It was only until she started dropping crystals every time she tried to pick one up that she stopped, running back to the ship with her load. It was on the approach that she saw the New Atero guard pacing towards her ship, and she skid to a halt just before the front of it. Was she in trouble somehow? IC: Tveke - Second Breath "Of course." I motioned with my hand for her to follow, and went higher into the airship. I led her into the main cargo bay, where most of my hydroponics and gardens were kept. Stars shone through the ceiling, bathing the garden in soft blue light. "I got plenty more than enough food in here to barter with, if that's what you'll be looking for. Some a these plants haven't lived outside these walls in centuries."

  16. IC: Tveke - Second Breath Walking into the hold of the ship, I said, "Just... a general tune-up, look around. Haven't had an engineer in years, who knows what the state of the engine is." I stood there at the entrance, waiting for her to come in. "Used to be one of the fastest airships in the GSR," I said, patting the ship, "could run down a cargo hauler and get away without breakin' a shaft."
  17. IC: Clos'utu - Capstone, Cliffside I kept watch, eyeing the surroundings. I couldn't help but wonder where the group from before had gone though, in the brief time I had been on the ground.
  18. IC: Clos'utu - Capstone, Cliffside "I'll be leavin' y'now," I tucked at my hat, and activated my mask. "Don't mean I won't be keep'n an eye'n ya, tho," I smirked as I disappeared into the shadow. Smiling to myself, I sped out of the bar, once again undetected. In a matter of moments, I was scaling the buildings again, perching up above to spy on them.
  19. IC: Slif - Hallways "Uhm... I don't exactly got 'parents'. Not a luxury I was given." I shrugged, and continued. "I don't really blame 'em though. Lots of nasty stuff goes on around here. Or at least, so I've heard." A sound came echoing down the halls as I finished. After a second of trying to figure out what it was, I turned just in time to see a rahk skid to a stop behind me, bouncing off of my shell in the process. "Whoa dang, you alright there buddy?" IC: Fate - Dorms I was back in my room. It felt like more had happened in the past half-hour than the last day. Before I went out again, I'd rather be as prepared as possible. I picked up the corpse's device. (At that thought I made a mental note to save that description for later). This troublesome piece of equipment had given me grief for long enough. It was time to finish re-purposing it. With this in mind, I picked up the unused rahkshi hands. Perhaps there was a better way to go about this after all... Taking to my train of thought, I picked at the palms of the chunky hand, finding a way into the innards. IC: Phantom - Ruins on the Water In her haste to acquire materials, Phantom began to take less time to exclude potentially post-mortem pieces. It was because of this, that Phantom soon pulled on a much heavier mass. There was clearly some kind of sharp sword stuck between two slaps of rock. Doing her best not to cut herself, she pulled at the large chunk of stone... To uncover a rahkshi. What Phantom had thought to be a sword was a broad Rahkshi spine. It's eyes were closed, caked with soot. The body was badly damaged, to the point the Kraata had nearly no protection from the elements. She took a few deep breaths. It was long dead by now, no reason to get upset. "Gaever!" She called, not urgent but certainly shaken.
  20. IC: Threiaa - Nail in a Wall While Armani was repelling down, Threiaa started pounding the crystal just above the top of Pakari's Maiden, using the butt of a wrench. IC: Tveke - Junkyard, Tesara -->Second Breath "Here she is," I said as we turned around a building, putting Second Breath in our sights. She sat peacefully, just like earlier. "Been here a while, if you couldn't tell," I spoke sadly, remembering what she was once capable of doing. IC: Clos'utu - Capstone, Cliffside I almost sneered, before I remembered who I was talking to. "Fine. I'll stay outta your business, if'n for old times." I glanced over at the vortixx again. The group wasn't even there anymore, it was just her. A scowl crossed my face. "But I'll tell ya this, be keep'n wary. They've an air about 'em, not like I seen since back'n Stelt." IC: 042 - Collapsed District, New Atero Not wasting time, 042 hobbled along on it's hands, entering the debris field of the wall. The guard immediately began searching for wounded. It began to notice fluid leaking from it's legs, if only at a snail's pace. Hopefully 042 would last long enough for its duties.
  21. IC: Clos'utu - Capstone, Cliffside "I been eyein' them folk by th' door..." I looked at the group, only just noticing where Taurek was aiming his looks. "Aw ****, y'not eyein' 'em too are ya?" I cursed under my breath, "They all been there f'r the good part'th' day. Except that'n." With that, I gestured to the vortixx.
  22. IC: Clos'utu - Capstone, Cliffside "You'll get plenty more'n that blown out, y'start a fight'n here!" I kept at him. IC: Tveke - Alleys, Tesara "Heh, that's more comforting than you'd know." I responded. We were coming round to Second Breath's plot now.
  23. IC: Clos'utu - Capstone, Cliffside And that's when it clicked, and I forgot the mute entirely. What in the karz was he doing?? I quitely sped inside, weaving between customers. In moments I was behind the brute. "What'n tarnation are you doing, y'fool!" I hissed at Taurek from behind.
  24. IC: Tveke - Central Marketplace, Tesara "A guy like me?" A disgruntled laugh escaped my chest, "Lady, you don't know what kinda person I am. I could be a thief, or a pirate, all you know." Which was not exactly untrue. IC: 042 - Collapsed District, New Atero 042 watched in fascination as the monster's head was torn apart by two colluding forces. The crystal was a risky gamble, and the guard doubted anyone had seen as much coming, but it proved most effective. It was with a small degree of bitterness that it recalled just where the ship had come from, and consequently the ICL as well. With no further danger, 042 stopped dragging itself through the dirt like so much garbage in a bag, and propped itself up on the window sill of an undamaged house. At that moment, the machine heard steps approaching in the middle of the road. Turning, 042 saw the city's leader, accompanied by the highest in command. Walking on it's hands like an stone ape, Maxilos 042 passed the trio, and saluted as best it could without falling over. "Your Spikiness," it greeted them, "Commanders." By no means was 042 enjoying it's position, but it's stubbornness would continue to hold out. Off to the wall it went, stumps raised in the air so as not to drag. IC: Threiaa - Oh heckie in the neckie "YEAH," She called back to the guard after a moment, "Could probably use a hand getting my roide down." IC: Clos'utu - Capstone, Cliffside I scowled, and let go. He didn't know enough to be useful. "Y'can git along then." I sighed, more passively. Of course, at that moment, something else caught my attention. While the mute was distracted with his own intrigue, I could see through a window a hulking figure standing up in the bar. His hand was on his sword, a fight in his eyes, and a sharp mind stacked away behind. This one looked familiar. Like a face I'd seen in just a few years...
  25. IC: Tveke - Central Marketplace, Tesara "Alright, alright, keep your lid on." I huffed. I gestured for her to follow, and walked to the alleys. IC: Threiaa - Pakari's Maiden Oh. Oh. Threiaa soon realized that, contrary to her assumption that she would come to a very sudden stop, she had felt a very solid thunk before continuing forward, albeit much more slowly. She deployed the hooks of the PM almost from muscle memory alone, a little stupified by the now evident scraps of monster flying around her. That had gone significantly better than expected. She let the ship idle, not confident in her ability to continue ramming through the rest of the monster, coming to a shuddering stop as the great crystal slid into the giant's torso. She just sat for a moment, waiting in a stupor.
