  1. IC: Jason Ferro- Starwhale "Well, one sided fights tend to stay pretty small. If some of the crew members were in their quarters when they were attacked, they were probably either hiding or ambushed." He continued moving further into the Starwhale, ever vigilant. "Hopefully, the lack of corpses means that the crew was taken hostage, rather than killed."
  2. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron Police HQ Gorn emerged from the dropship, leading a bound Corroder to the gathering of heroes and officers. "The pizza's here. Who ordered the acid-spewing psychopath?" IC: Jason Ferro- The Starwhale Ferro boarded the Starwhale, and began looking for anything out of the ordinary in the initial area, beyond the obvious lack of a crew.
  3. If I recall, Jade had contacted Stormer to notify him and Drax of Corroder's capture and never received a response. Meanwhile, Gorn was so preoccupied with being an edgelord that he forgot to confiscate Corroder's communication device, which she then used to call Black Phantom and inform him of her predicament. I assumed that meant that Black Phantom was going to try and rescue her.
  4. IC: Jason Ferro- Captain Obvious As soon as the massive craft came into view, Ferro was taken aback by it's odd, yet amusing design. "Wow. I'm not entirely sure, but I think the designer might have had a thing for whales." OOC: Zippy, are you going to act as GM for the group on Mekna, as well?
  5. That figure actually also appears on the sheet that comes with the Lego batman movie series minifigures.
  6. IC: Jason Ferro- Antropolis "Yeah, I was there... That mission sucked. Though, what came after it was a lot worse. Anyway, I don't think Gyro needs our help just yet. I doubt that a group of villains who had just taken a hostage would still be out in the open like this..."
  7. IC: Jason Ferro- Antropolis "Nice to meet ya, Flames. The name is Ferro. Jason Ferro." ... Wow. That had sounded sooo much cooler in his head...
  8. IC: Jason Ferro- Antropolis "I dunno... I'm sure it'll be obvious if something goes wrong, though. Besides, mission control can see everything that Gyro does, so they'll probably send out an alert if things start to REALLY suck." Once Ferro saw the ship, he quickly ducked behind a corner to avoid being seen. "You guys should take cover, too. If they notice a hero watching them, they'll probably make a run for it."
  9. IC: Jason Ferro- Antropolis Having also received and read Gyro's message, Ferro ran after Shard and Flames. "WAIT! IF THEY THINK HE'S ROTOR, THEN ALL YOU'RE GONNA DO IS BLOW HIS COVER!"
  10. IC: Wilhelm Gorn "Her weapons have been removed, she will not be spitting acid again any time soon." Gorn took a seat himself, across from Corroder so as to keep an eye on her. "But I'll stay, if it will make you feel better."
  11. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron Gorn raised an eyebrow, a gesture that was masked by his helmet's static faceplate. "Oh, come on. You know that I would have won either way." Gorn set Corroder down on one of the seats within the craft, her communication with Black Phantom having gone unnoticed. "Nevertheless, your assistance was appreciated. Thank you." Gorn started making his way back to the street, before pausing and then turning back to Jade. "Do you want me to come with you, in case she tries anything? Or have you got everything under control?"
  12. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron After removing Corroder's meteor blaster and remaining claw, Gorn turned to see Jade's ship descending to the street, most likely to transport Corroder back to the police station. He lifted up injured villain, an easy task now that she was disarmed, and began making his way over to where Jade was about to land.
  13. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron Though Gorn had been doing just fine on his own, Jade's help was appreciated nonetheless. He quickly retrieved a pair of hero cuffs and approached the motionless villain. Upon activation, the bonds immediately began to seek out Corroder's wrists.
  14. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron Gorn swung his shield, swatting the claw in mid air before returning the shield to it's default position. The impact flung the weapon far off to the side, away from the pair. Nevertheless, a small amount of acid managed to find it's way past the shield, and began eating holes in Gorn's armor. IC: Jason Ferro- Antropolis Having joined the rest of the heroes in the subway, Ferro noticed Gyro leave the group and duck into a subway tunnel. He thought nothing of it, assuming that Gyro just wanted to be alone after failing to catch the evil railing-icer. Ferro understood, and decided to simply wait with the others until he received new orders.
  15. OOC: Sorry for the delay. Finals suck. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron Gorn quickly attempted to thrust his blade into Corroder's claw, still intent on rendering the acid sprayers unusable.
  16. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron City Considering his reflexes and the fact that meteor blasters telegraph their shots, Gorn was able to pull his arm back and reposition his shield in time for the blast to be deflected off of it, sending it flying over Corroder's head and into the side of the building behind her. Gorn lunged forward, pushing his shield into Corroder's faceplate and extending his blade in order to swipe underneath the shield and at the acid nozzles on the ends of Corroder's claw, to prevent her from spraying acid with it. OOC: In the show, the ends of the meteor blasters glow for about a half second before they actually fire. I'm also assuming that Corroder is standing on all fours, as she usually does. IC: Jason Ferro- Late to the party Noticing that Gyro's signal was now in the subway, Ferro tried to look down a stairwell to see if he could spot the orange hero, or possibly whomever they were chasing. His mistake was using the railing to brace himself, as the ice covering it caused him to slip and hit his head, denting his helmet. Once he made his way to the bottom, he noticed another hero who also seemed to have fallen prey to the frozen railing. Silently, he vowed to avenge their injured pride by bringing in the villain who had iced the railing. He continued running after Gyro's signal, his desire for justice fueling him more than the charge in his core ever could.
  17. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron City "The implication was that the "easy" way is easy for you, and the "fun" way is fun for ME. However, if you enjoy the feeling of plasma cutting through your chassis, then I suppose there is nothing preventing you from enjoying it as well."
  18. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron City Seeing as Corroder had jumped down to engage the heroes, Gorn brought his charge to a halt. He stood before her, sword activated and shield at the ready. He was confident in his ability to best Corroder, but that was no reason to throw caution to the wind. "We can do this the easy way, or we can do this the fun way. The choice is yours."
  19. OOC: I apologize for the delay. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron Gorn took a step forward, shrinking his shield somewhat in order to increase it's strength. The shield absorbed most of the force behind the truck, resulting in it bouncing off and sliding back in Night Stalker's general direction, before coming to a stop about halfway between him and the heroes. The impact knocked Gorn over and back several feet. He didn't stay down for long, however, as he quickly rose and began making a mad dash for the building Corroder was perched on top of, hoping to get there while she was still distracted by the gunship. IC: Jason Ferro- Antropolis Ferro received Bulk's message, and his imagination immediately began to run wild. Was Gyro in trouble? Who had attacked him? Could it be the beasts being controlled by the brains again? Or maybe it was a villain, like Voltix? Or Toxic Reapa, maybe? It could even be Jawblade, seeing as Antropolis had plenty of water... There was no time to waste! Whatever was attacking Gyro, he was going to make sure that it left the planet in cuffs. He began sprinting to the orange hero's location, fully prepared to save the day.
  20. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron City With Night Stalker having taken cover for the time being, Gorn was safe to turn and expand his shield in order to protect himself and Ruby from Corroder's acid spray. If they were going to succeed, they would have to fight strategically. "We should try and spread out, make them keep track of multiple targets. The titan's got a radar in his helmet, but he also has terrible reflexes. I'd imagine he'd have quite a bit of trouble fighting two of us a once, but that would leave Corroder unaccounted for..." Gorn thought for a moment, suddenly realizing that they were one hero short. "Wait, where's the other guy? Barrier was his name, wasn't it?"
  21. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron Gorn immediately activated his shield upon rounding the corner, which resulted in Night Stalker's shots ricocheting off of it's surface and flying off in various directions. He instantly recognized the one who had fired them. "I... told them what would happen... I TOLD them... They didn't listen, and now we're here..." Gorn remembered that fateful day six months ago, where he had predicted this exact event occurring. The others had refused to let him kill Night Stalker when he had the chance, and now innocent civilians were paying for it with their lives. Despite that, Gorn had no intention of killing him this time, either. No, he was going to drag Night Stalker back to the police station alive, then explain to Chief Drax why this villain in particular was able to attack his beloved city... Six months ago, Gorn had been angrier than he had been in decades. As such, he had decided to use the brilliant strategy of trying to take down someone twice his size with brute force. If it hadn't been for Saracen Rune, there was a good chance that he would have died that day. Now, however, it was different. Today, Gorn was motivated by a desire for justice, rather than vengeance or a love for combat. Today, he was prepared to use any advantage he had in order to win this fight, dishonorable or not. This terrorist needed to face justice. And if that was to happen, then that gun needed to go. "Ruby, aim for his arm!" Gorn hoped that, with luck, one of Ruby's bullets would rupture one of Night Stalker's gas bombs, eating away the arm from the inside-out.
  22. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron "My shield can protect all three of us, but not indefinitely. These types of shields are capable of expanding, but they get weaker the larger they get."
  23. Maybe G1 Transformers and year one of Beast Wars.Would work but after that nothing rings any bells. I think bionicle G2 bears far more similarities to Transformers' own G2 than it does to Beast Wars. Both lines were a lot like the originals, but without what made the originals as popular as they were. They both managed to do a few things better, but ultimately failed to catch on and were discontinued in around two years.
  24. IC: Wilhelm Gorn- Mekron "Of course. Any villain who gets their hands on acid can use it. However, Corroder is the only villain I know of that is both currently on the run, and crazy enough to attack a city with acid in broad daylight." Gorn considered the other hero's statement for a few seconds, before deciding to add: "You... could be right, of course. Feel free to take any of my assumptions with a grain of salt. Even I know that the factory doesn't keep me around for my intellectual capabilities... Either way, with this shield, the acid will be completely ineffective against me." IC: Jason Ferro- Antropolis Ferro wandered off looking for information, though he didn't expect to actually find any. He wasn't really experienced with this type of thing.
  25. IC: Wilhelm Gorn-Mekron City "Acid, you say? That sounds to me like the work of Von Nebula's former minion, Corroder. The gunfire, however, could belong to virtually any villain in our database. Either way, the attackers will not remain free for much longer." Gorn broke off from the group of heroes and began making his way over the area that Quiver had indicated. His energy shield would render Corroder's acid a non-issue, and the other villain probably wasn't anyone too tough... right?
