  1. What's the verdict on LDD MOCs? As much as I'd love to build a real version, I'm short on CCBS parts and bricklink money. If they are allowed, I would assume they have to match colors with real pieces.
  2. Link leads to picture to be submitted, thumbnail leads to the gallery. First two entries use familiar names and characters. Nidhiki, the fallen master of air: Marendar One more to come. Totally new character.
  3. Is there a ruling on using substitute parts in LDD, such as arranging a few pieces to create the general shape of another piece, even though those parts might not appear in the color of the intended piece? Some part examples might be the new gearbox piece, or the sprung gearbox x928cx1 that appeared the hockey sets. Both can be arranged using simple parts, but appeared in colors the individual pieces did not appear in, like orange. I ask because the new Chima shoulder armor has been added to LDD Extended, but the new gearbox has not, and a few upcoming entries may use this new piece.
  4. I don't normally put much faith in the mbti, but I thought my result was a bit interesting: Which, if I'm reading right, correlates to iron: the element of my self-moc and OC, Rauta. Both the test and bzp descriptions are pretty close, too. I thought it was interesting how that worked out.
  5. IC: 7725, Maintenance Hall: Requiem IV "You want to try cutting it open?" he said as he opened a hatch on the cart. Behind the hatch was the vehicle's battery. 7725 traced the wires from the leads of the battery, disconnected the two, and tapped them together. Nothing. "Battery's shot."
  6. I guess so. I'm not sure if TLZ wants to throw in a plot point or something, but I guess he'll intervene if he wants to.
  7. OOC: Apologies for the inactivity, things have been getting "exciting" and I'm not much of a writer. IC: 7725, 306, 686, Maintenance Hallway: Requiem IV The group gathered themselves in the passage. 271 was the first to speak up about the cart and its contents. “Most likely a storage container of sorts. Documents if we’re lucky and the operator abandoned his post rather hastily. Tools if it only carried basic equipment,” 7725 stated, approaching the cart. 7725 began inspecting the cart while 271 examined the box. 306 watched intently over his shoulder. “Can you fix it?” she inquired. “It’s possible,” 7725 replied, “with the right tools and parts.” “Ok then, engineer,” 686 said, “what happens if we don’t have either of those?” “Then we take what we can and leave the rest behind, no sense keeping something we can’t use.” 686 sat down and leaned against the cart. “There are a few things I’d like to leave behind,” he muttered under his breath. 7725 continued to search the cart for spare parts.
  8. Writing up an essay of a response right now.
  9. IC: 7725, Lift Tracks: Requiem IV306 stirred and sat up. She seemed fine. 7725 gave his best effort to help her stand up."Good to have you back. We're getting out of here."7725 walked over to the maintenance door. It was a simple door, presumably only ever accessible to engineers and maintenance crews, so no real security was needed. He grabbed a small slot which acted as the handle and slid the door open.--The passage was a bit larger than he expected, stretching far to the left and right of the door. 7725 could see a few passages branching off, though it was difficult to make them out as they appeared farther and farther away. It seemed possible to fit three, maybe four, Toa walking at shoulder width. It was, unfortunately, dimly lit like the lift tunnel. The light came from lightstones in frosted glass cases, which spread the light out nicely around them, but did not throw the light very far. A few were burned out or broken. On the left side of the hall, a flatbed maintenance cart waited patiently, facing away from the group. It was listing to one side. 7725 saw two of the wheels were damaged. There was no telling how much fuel the vehicle had, if any. It would be highly unlikely that the cart had the necessary parts stored in it to fix it, but it might be worth looking into.A wide, silver-colored metal box lay on the flatbed immediately behind the operator seats. It had rusted over quite a bit. 7725's heartlight skipped as he thought of the possibilities of what it might contain.OOC: I guess from this point on, assume 306 is following 7725 until stated otherwise. I can't really speak for her, though.Edits added in response to post below. I broke the cart intentionally to keep it from being an overly lucky find.
  10. Wait, what happened to those gears?

  11. I think we're still trying to figure out what to do about the missing post.I can hazard a guess at what happened to it, but we're probably going to have to improvise and I don't want to bunny too much.
  12. And 306 still has the vial. I was kind of hoping it would be our key against Mr. Fingers.
  13. No promises on getting exactly that, but I'll work in something.
