  2. I read that as tarakava and was very confused for a moment
  3. bitballoon is a temporary hosting platform, but don't worry I'm working on a more permanent solution. wait a minute I already have one!!!! Anyways, feel free to download that offline version of the website while I try to figure out what Chrome's problem with the chanting audio is.
  4. Alright, v0.02 is up now! The front page has been updated with new articles, the Toa pages now better resemble their 01 counterparts (the text is the original, that is pre-maori scandal variants), some links have been added, and the first Makuta page is done. Note that the chrome thinks the desktop toys are dangerous, but rest assured they are just a direct link from BMP.
  5. So a long, LONG time ago, around the time I joined BZP, I made this recreation of the BIONICLE 2001 website. I've always thought it was pretty crude, so a few days ago I decided to throw my hat into the ring again and try making something a bit higher quality. Anyways, this is what ended up coming out of that. It's nowhere near finished, but the initial animation and the Toa pages are up and running. I would appreciate it if you guys could test it out and report any problems!! EDIT: actually, it IS done now.
  6. you do have a camera of some kind, don't you? take a picture
  7. I remember this startling game from years ago: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/19809-new-bionicle-fangame/?do=findComment&comment=980791
  8. No one talks about it because it literally just surfaced one day, and even then as a pre-alpha tech demo (correct me if I’m wrong). The fenzy over LOMN I think is attributable to the gradual trickle of news that took place between 2006-2010, finally culminating in the release of gameplay footage and cutscenes. Not to mention the fact that the game is much more of a “game” than COL is, adding to the allure. On an entirely different note, can I rant a bit about something that’s always bothered me? Why is it that so much Bionicle media opted for the stylized pseudo-set look as opposed to just using set-accurate models? Every Bionicle movie (excepted TLR), Bionicle: The Game, and City of Legends all employed it, and even as a kid it mystified me.
  9. I saw a user on BZpower claim he found the demo on that old Lego Harry Potter PC game from 2002. Listen, I don't know why everyone has latched onto this Harry Potter thing, but I can guarantee you it isn't real.
  10. I actually ordered a copy because of this thread and never installed it, figuring they were all the same
  11. I don't think stores care one way or the other about the type of system a lego brand uses, or even the brand itself; as long as it has that little lego logo, it's welcome. If lego wanted Bionicle to come back and be popular, they would need to focus heavily on multimedia and marketing, just like '01.
  12. "They will arise out of their sleep and fulfill their mission | They will come and purge out world of the darkness that has infested it | There will be many ***ts and obstacles in their way but they shall wake him"
  13. My Windows 98 Voodoo 5500, Pentium 3 setup seems to have trouble rendering the game. I don't know if that is within the recommended benchmark for running it, but it seems pretty good for the era. Incidentally, it seems to be running on modern OSes a lot better than I figured it would considering that Lego themselves cited chip (in)compatibility as a factor in the game's cancellation.
  14. This game has been on my mind incessantly for the past five years. Is it still being streamed?
  15. Profile surfing casts that into doubt
  16. RedQuark isn't going to yield anything substantial; keep in mind that everything related to LOMN that he shared originated directly from DeepBrick, who apparently isn't willing or capable of sharing more. Don't worry, ImgBurn is safe. And like Illuminatus mentioned, you don't necessarily need to create an iso.
